A good theater for a small town. MovieWorks Cinema is good; not great, not bad, but adequate. There are five screens including 3D (for the color-blind among us, the 3D is the updated kind and does not require red/blue glasses). The seats are not new: cup-holders included, movable armrests not included. There is a slightly incline to the seating but it isnt full stadium seating. Be prepared to move if youre short and a tall person sits in front of you. Staff is always friendly and helpful, concessions are a good value for the money. Theres only two registers so the wait can be long if you hit it right before the show starts. All in all, not the personality of Jackson Hole Twin Cinemas, but as the showings never overlap, MovieWorks Cinema fills a needed gap in the town theater options. My husband and I tend to go to Idaho Falls for the "must have epic experience" movies though.

Its not your newest theater. Nor is it the largest, the cleanest, the most high tech. Its basically a theater that looks like it was built 35 years ago and hasnt really changed much since. But honestly, all this new crap with huge digital screens, surround sound, concessions purchased on your cell phone, reclining chairs. We were able to make it through WWI and WWII as well as Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm without those luxuries. So in little town Jackson, this suited our needs for a post dinner, rainy day, night time activity. We were visiting, but also tired from having driven for a major part of the day. This was a calm and relaxing way for us to prep for lots of physical activity the next day.

Its pretty dated and cramped, one of the subwoofers was blown in our theater, and the place was filthy. My wife and I went to watch Star Wars VII and the movie cut out in the middle, blacking out the screen and continuing the audio. It took them about 15 minutes to get it back up and we did finish the movie. However overall it was not a fantastic experience.

This movie theater is dated but the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The theater is clean, it may look dirty because its dated. Concessions were good but smaller than standard theater sizes. Not stadium seating and the seats are terrible. Very uncomfortable bad on the back especially if you have lower back problems.

This is an older theater but the screen is crisp, the sounds are good and the vibe is relaxed. The seats are a bit tough and it is a bit expensive almost $10 per ticket for what the theater is. The popcorn is a little salty and overcooked. It could have been just my batch, but it does the job at the movies.

Extremely friendly staff and the theater has a retro homey vibe. Cheap tickets too. Only complaint is the seats arent very comfortable. But if youre in Jackson its definitely worth a visit

Its a place to see new movies. More blockbusters than art flicks, dont expect anything more than what movie theaters were like in the 90s.
