Golf course superintendent, "Dean," was INCREDIBLY RUDE. He was not only rude to my wife and I, but 3 OTHER GROUPS right in front of me! He got mad at an employee, and literally pushed them off the cash register for "not doing it right." Our challenges with Dean stemmed from a very unclear policy allowing "only golfers" allowed on the course. My wife likes to walk while I play, and Dean allegedly had an issue with that, although there is nothing in the course policy indicating that was the case. When I asked him to point to the policy stating "only golfers on the course, he could not do it. Ensue stammering, stomping, childish behavior, etc. The dude JUST COULD NOT accept the fact it was his policy. Not the courses policy. 2 other groups had the exact same problem in the 20 minutes we were there, and Dean responded the same way when they asked the EXACT SAME question! Finally, someone came in and asked for a water and practically screamed at them to wait while dealing with the employee at the cash register going too slowly and "doing it wrong." I also heard 9 holes took 3 hours. Long story short, Dean needs a hug and I recommend playing elsewhere!

This is a great municipal course with decent green fees. The course itself has wide open fairways which are quite forgiving if you tend to hook or slice. Although there are few sand traps, they are strategically placed and make those holes (6,7,8, and 17) tricky. There are some tough greens too -- 5,7,8,9,11,17 and 18. It can be slow on the weekends, but we usually play very early in the AM on weekdays and can be done in 3-3.5 hours. There are duffers out there who are agonizingly slow and there is no ranger, so patience is called for. the staff is great from the manager to the desk people, to the starters, to the grounds men.

I just played there and paid for 18 holes. The play was so slow that we quit after the front nine. Took us 3 hours for the first nine holes. They have no ranger to speed things along and way overbooked the course today. I usually play early through the week and the play is normal. I will avoid nice warm Saturday afternoons at Indian Boundary from now on. I should have had my first clue when no carts were available when I checked in. Had to wait for 5 carts to be returned before we got one.

This is a great course for Practice play and just having a great time out with friends on the weekends. Granted it may not have a Ranger to keep pace, but if you golf, you should no better anyway. Staff is always super nice and helpful in anyway. Staff is young and this is not a course for all you professional players that shoot 73 and lower, you should continue shooting on the PGA tour. Forest Preserve course that is open to public, lets be a bit understanding of what is what.

I like golf courses when they are close to the city, not all come with all the bells and whistles but most city golf parks are fun and challenging. The staff is friendly and cortious, the price is great for playing in the city. Depending on the time of the week it can take time to play through, try booking on a odd day during the week and you could find yourself with a wide open curse, choose your times wisely, dont forget to look online for discount and golfing cards.

I golf here at least once a month year round. Great local course. Well maintained and great staff. Pro shop has what you need and the dogs and brats are good too. Beer is cold and they will give you a bag of ice if needed. Summer weekends are packed and it will take over 3 hours to play. No Ranger most of the time leads to a lot of slow players and extended round times.

This was the worst course Ive ever played. I never write reviews and this could be the first and last one I ever write. No ranger to keep up pace. The let people off every 5 min. There is a line of ppl at the first tee to get position to tee off. I play a lot of nicer courses and spending 25 bucks to play here was the biggest waste of money.

Not a pristine course, but grass is cut well, greens are decent fairways are very forgiving with very few if any bunkers on par4s and 5s. Stay away on the weekend gets too crowded and there is no one to make sure pace is kept up. Get out in the am during the week, and have a good time! Youll see plenty of deer, and airplanes!

The course was wet & sloppy in a lot of places & should not have allowed golf carts. The rate charged was not appropriate for the conditions of the course. Had paid for 18 holes but couldnt continue beyond 9 holes because of the poor condition of the course. Received a raincheck for the back 9.

Pace of play is awful here. They need a much more active ranger. The course is on the easy side. Great place to play on weekdays in the morning before it gets crazy busy. They have really cheap tee times if you play twilight.

Nice forest preseve course. generous fairways in a rustic setting. Its a shame that new OHare traffic patterns provide a continuous 80 decibels making your experience not worthy of the green fees.

Well maintained. Most of the holes are straight and have plenty of fairway. Greens were consistent and nice. Not too long of a course. I would rate is fairly easy.

Good golf course, has good mix of hazards. Little short is the only complaint. Pace can be a problem on weekends but thats due to players and not staff.

Not a bad course... Front 9 a bit slow on Saturday morning but good pace back 9...round was 745 until 1220. Hard to believe its just minutes from ord.
