By far the most technologically advanced Theater in a 70 Miles radius. State of the art video and sound with the added value of unbelievably reasonable prices on tickets and concessions. Two things that stood out for me, the real butter on the popcorn as well as the free mints at the end of the show. A testament to the owners paying close attention to the high quality of service they are providing their customers. Outstanding on all counts whether you are in Prairie or at the original Theater in Elkader. Kudos to you guys and keep up the great work. We are lucky to have you around.
Every time I go to the Prairie Cinema, I am pleasantly treated like an important customer! The entire building is clean, the staff are AMAZINGLY friendly and ready to serve, with a smile! If for any reason Im unhappy about anything, the issue is quickly resolved! The lighting is great, the sound is great, the seats are clean, and its always nice to have a person standing at the door with a bowl of mints to wish me a good evening! Doesnt get much better than that! If only other businesss would be this professional, friendly and determined to please us, the customers!!
Prairie Cinema is probably the best theater within a decent amount of driving distance from West Union, Iowa. With six screens there are plenty of movies to choose from and seeing a double feature on a rainy Saturday afternoon is easily attainable. Ticket and concession prices are about what you would expect from a small-town theater. Seating inside the theater is above average in terms of comfort and leg room.
Had a little free time to catch a movie. Theatre was clean and staff was helpful. One thing they did that I have never seen in any big city theatre: As we were walking out, a staff member stood by the door with a basket full of mints for guests to take..Nice little touch.
The theater is very clean and staff was helpful. There were a few times that there were no staff at the counter though. As well as a lady who was rude to us which was the worst part about this trip to this theater and the prices were a bit too high.
This theater is great. If you think their ticket prices are expensive, then I suggest you check out how much movies cost on the East coast and elsewhere. The prices here are very reasonable.
Clean, modern and overall good movie experience. Concessions are not cheap, but such is the current theatre going trip, cant fault them for going with the overall trends
Movie was good, but the popcorn was ridiculously expencive and the chair arms dont fold up, and they arent very comfy.
id have my funeral here. Too bad i died in 1836 and this is my ghost haunting my grandsons computer. Nice staff.
