My family and I came here to bowl as walk ins. They told us the wait should be a little bit over an hour with 12 people ahead of us. We decided to wait, order food and feed the kids. 3 hours later we were still not called. I spoke to an employee and a manager and told them we have been waiting for 3 hours. The manager said unfortunately the best way to get a spot is to do a reservation and that they do not kick people off the lanes or have time limits. I explained to her that was not told to us when we walked in and they should be a little bit more honest with their guest by saying most likely you will not get a lane today. To make matters worst, they had two lanes that were opened for 1.5 hours because someone had it reserved at a later time. I explained to the manager that someone else could have been bowling on that lane for 1.5 hours before the owner of that reserved lane arrived. It did not make good business sense to me. I asked the manager if there is anything she could do for us right now since the kids have been waiting to bowl and that we were tired of waiting. She said the only thing she can do was see how many people was ahead of us. She comes back and lets us know that 7 people were still ahead of us. So within 3 hours, they only turnover 5 groups. Ridiculous ! We ended up leaving, kids crying , adults highly upset and with no accommodation for time wasted. The bowling alley is really nice but the way how they operate is not efficient and unacceptable!

I overall thought this place was pretty good. But, only 3/5 stars good. Let me tell you why. Pros - Although some people have said that the staff were rude, that didnt happen. The staff were pretty nice and actually helped with a lot of problems. The food was very good! Would definitely recommend even just on that note. But heres what went wrong. Cons - There were ssoooo many problems with our two lanes. Yes thats right, two lanes, because we had to switch because of so many problems. At first, the pins just wouldnt reset. The tech people fixed it. Then the bar that comes down to push back any pins still laying down, wouldnt go back up. Tech fixed it. This repeated several times. Staff moved us to the lane to the left and gave us some free game passes. Then, on the OTHER lane, the balls wouldnt return! Like are you kidding me? I pay good money for this and then there are so many problems! And thats not it. Then later, we used are passes to get a discount/pay less on our games and the guy at the front desk never even added it on! He never gave us are flipping discount?! Like seriously! That was the only staff member who annoyed me. Overall, the staff were pretty good and so was the food. Although there were many technical problems, we still got like three-four games without problems so props to that. But I wouldnt say this is the #1 bowling alley Ive seen in NJ.

Been to this place a few times now. The lanes could use some work - the last time I went the lanes computer thing wouldnt let us type our names in, so the front desk had to do it. Then, the bumper spontaneously raised by itself. After this, the lane gate would not reset and stayed in the down position. The staff that helps you with lanes are pretty decent atleast, and are the only reason this place is getting 2 stars instead of 1; The bar staff is consistently terrible. One time I went on a Saturday night so it was packed as can be expected. The bartenders initially just ignored us, and when we finally got their attention, they were rude and short with us, as if they were doing us a huge favor by taking our money. I kept my cool and chalked it up to the busy evening. I later went back, however, on a Sunday afternoon when it was practically empty and got the same level of service! We walked right up to the [empty] bar and had to wait minutes (while the bartender walked back and forth in front of us multiple times doing busy work like drying a glass) and then finally had to actually call out to her. It seems Bowlmor does not appreciate my business, so Ill be taking it elsewhere.

I came in knowing this place a 3/5 star establishment and overall I think the reviews are about right. Pros: The food was actually good, the tacos at least. The bartenders/servers were nice (but then again where isnt that true?) The arcade was up to date but avoid that laser thing (seriously, what was that?) The place looks amazing and we noticed that they cater to group events in a cool way. A lot of positives right? Now let me tell you where they ruined my stay. Cons: I have to start with the desk staff. Did not even try to greet us when we arrived, they were visibly disgruntled because of some "league issue" which I need to know about for some reason, and were extremely rude to me when I asked for the channel to be changed (I had to ask 4 times over a span of 30 minutes before they even attempted). I want to make it clear that it was not just one employee that was like this; it was the norm for every employee at the desk. They looked MISERABLE! Hint to management: Those people are the face of your company; you might want to do something about that. Oh and $6 for shoes is a rip off.

SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!This place is HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS!!!! IF YOU BOOK A LANE WITH THEIR SALES DEPARTMENT IT WILL COST YOU $108.00 JUST FOR THE LANE AND ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR SHOE RENTALS (this doesnt include any food). IF YOU JUST WALK IN THE ALLEY IT WILL COST YOU $6.95 PER PERSON!!! DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM - YOU WILL NEVER GET OUT OF IT! If you have any kind of emergency they WILL NOT refund your money - they will only "change" your reservation. So it is costing me $260.00 for bowling for 7 people when it should cost me $133.00. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. And the sales department is the worst - how convenient that the managers DO NOT work on weekends and cannot adjust anything. This place needs to be reported to the better business bureau. I will NEVER work with them again and will let everyone I know how awful they handled everything. So now I am held captive to go to this place to get COMPLETELY ripped off!!!!

Had an awesome time aside from a weird situation with bartender- light-skinned black girl with her hair in a tight bun, she walked by me several times (Which I understand, it was a little busy and she was the only bartender), but when she was done with her last customer, instead of approaching me, she walked out from behind the bar for at least 5 minutes without saying a word. I left without getting a drink, unfortunately because they looked pretty good. When she came back, I went to the bar again and she was staring at her cell-phone. As someone in the service industry, thats not how you conduct yourself. If you need to leave the bar, you let a customer know so they dont waste their time standing there. I bowled after that and had an excellent server. Low and behold, the bartender made several more trips away from the bar over the 1 hour I spent there. Talked to the server about it and she said that shes new and seems to do that alot. Saw a few frustrated guests as well. Guess she didnt wanna make any money!
