By far, the finest winery in the region! The wines were fabulous and the service and knowledge of the server were top notch. The tasting fee ($10) was a bit high but every pour was ample and sufficient to experience and appreciate each of their wines. All of their wines are very distinctive and have unique character and flavors that really show off the grapes, their blending, and the skill and knowledge of their wine maker. We visited a few other wineries in the same area but none of them begin to measure up to any of the wines produced at the Banner Elk Winery.

Wow...what an amazing experience. I had my wedding at the winery this past memorial day weekend. Terri, who manages the villa, went above and beyond to make this event spectacular for us. From our pre-planning stage to checking out we could not have been treated better. The location was great and the views made for awesome pictures. We also were able to enjoy the winery daily. The winery provided a great place for our friends to visit and mingle before the ceremony. Also the wine was great! We look forward to our next visit.

My husband and I just spent 2 nights here in celebration of our 30th wedding anniversary. We cannot express in words how amazing our experience was. Our Villa was wonderful, the wine, food and staff were all first class and went over and above to accommodate us. The view and the grounds are simply gorgeous and you are a short distance from all the area attractions. We highly recommend Banner Elk Winery & Villas and we hope to visit again soon!

Awesome experience. Staff were awesome - friendly and knowlegeable (Emily did our tasting). Live music on point. Scenery lovely and seating both inside and out were great. And the wine - delicious! Especially the sangrias and mulled wine. They even had smores packages outside by the campfire on this cool fall day. My husband, our puppy and I had a Sunday funday to say the least thanks to Banner Elk Winery!

My wife and I spent a couple of nights in the luxurious Cabernet suite, thanks to a Groupon deal. We didnt get to meet the owners, but the staff was very pleasant and helpful! Theres plenty to do within an hour in any direction (Boone, Blowing Rock, Linville, Grandfathers Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and several waterfalls). This is an ideal B&B experience.

The Ladies at Banner Elk Winery I am a firm believer that any wine is better with good company and a good ambiance. The ladies at Banner Elk Winery were so friendly and knowledgeable that the wine is elevated to a level commensurate with the best. If you are in the area and you dont visit one of lifes best experiences will pass you by!!!

Banner Elk Winery is just quaint enough yet just refined enough to make it a must-visit destination in the Boone Highcountry region! Wines are sophisticated, staff is friendly and knowledgeable and theres plenty sprawling outdoor space for the whole day to enjoy! So glad we made this stop on Memorial Day Weekday!

Very nice tasting room, somewhat crowded on a Sunday in August. Nice pours, knowledgeable staff. Beautiful outdoor setting to enjoy a glass of wine. Most of the wines produced here are sweet, the drier vintages are grown elsewhere, since they are in the mountains. A solid experience.

Wonderful 2 nights here. Staff super freindly; helpful and knowledgable. Convenient to other places for dinner or a massage. Would have been perfect had there been a full breakfast instead of the continental provided.
