My experience at Old Orchard Golf course was one of surprise. I played there not long after Sandy and that snow we got shortly thereafter. Mind you I hadnt played there in about five years and my day was a pleasure. You can tell from the first tee that the course has been revitilized (kudos to the grounds keepers). The fairways were well maintained and the greens were mowed and rolled. The service was good. Its a much better experience when the snack stand in the middle of the course is opened (maybe because it was late in the season). I plan on playing there again in the spring.

Greenskeeper (I think thats who it was, guy in fishermans type hat) was extremely rude. Had the last tee time of the day (545, tee off around 5:55) and he kicked us off at 8:15 on hole 15 (2 hours and 15 minutes). Obviously we were playing pretty fast however instead of politely asking us if we didnt mind ending (it was dusk but not dark) he simply said, " you guys are done, like now". Probably wont go back. Course is expensive for what you get (short yardage, a little beat up) and with people like that working, no thanks! The Irish guy at the front desk is great tho!

This was the worst course I have played in a long time. Made a reservation through Golf now and expected to be playing with 3 other people. When I arrived (35 minutes before my tee time) I went to check in and the person said he already sent the other players off, so I wound up playing by myself. The course was in really bad condition, tee boxes were not manicured at all, among other things. It was like no one cares about the course. AT ALL.

We played the course in April and it was in pretty good shape. Fast forward to September, the course is horrible. It is difficult to find the difference between the tee box, fairway, ruff and greens. THEY ARE THAT BAD! Not sure who the greens keeper is (if there is one) but he needs to start from scratch... The only saving grace for the course was Johnnie G at the 19th hole....

$60 to walk and they should have paid me $100 to just show up! Nice track, but needs a lot of TLC and then some more. They think that raising the price will trick us into thinking it is a high quality operation. I really felt disrespected and will probably never come here again. It is in Monmouth County and has a lot of competition and they are just being beat to death.

I can only comment on the facility itself. I was recently there for an event that was catered by an outside caterer due to the dietary requirements of the majority of the guests and hosts. The facility is clean, nicely decorated and has plenty of parking. The fact that there is also a golf course belonging to the club is a big plus.

The course was in very bad shape. The tee boxes have no grass, the fairways and the rough were in terrible shape. The greens are not bad as the rest of the course, except hole #12 green has no grass you put on dirt. It is a shame what has happened to a great layout. I wasted $45 I will not go back.

Played 12/11/15. This course doesnt get the respect it deserves. It is a very nicely designed course in need of a little TLC. #cartpaths The greens in the middle of December is fantastic... Really the best part of playing this course. Because of the greens I give it four stars.

Course is in great shape!! Greens are superb right now- like a carpet! Had a great time, and Old Orchard is a nice course to walk. Even saw a couple of deer along the route,! It was a pleasant round overall. Will definitely be back! People are nice also- very welcoming.

Played very wet winter day. Fairways were so- so,, but greens were better than expected. Considering cold winter days, definitely acceptable.

Gets torn up easily and not taken care of very well. That being said its a fun track track and fairly priced for what it is.
