Booked a private session for our family group of eight ranging from 16 to 50 years old. Reserved online with a very simple process. The host called the day of our session to confirm it and with hints on directions and parking. Very professional and gave me a good feeling before I even got there. Our host, Dave, greeted us with a smile and genuinely made us feel comfortable. Sign in was simple. Everything started on time. During the introduction we could hear another group excitedly cheering. Again, great vibes for what was to come. Our game started and I couldnt be more impressed. Our family got right into it and worked together and individually to solve all the clues. I honestly didnt know how the teenage boys would take to this but I couldnt be happier how they laughed, thought and participated with everyone. The game was very challenging and I was totally impressed how clever it was and how everyone rose to the challenge. Our host Dave was there when we needed him but kept it to a minimum. Just the right balance. When it was over, Dave offered to take a group photo for us. Nice personal touch. I totally recommend this to any families who want an incredibly fun bonding experience. The wife and I are already planning when we can do this again.

My friends and I just tried the Museum Heist escape room this past weekend. None of us had ever done an escape room before, so we werent sure what to expect. The rooms were very well thought out. We were a pretty smart group (I like to think so at least) and it took us almost the whole time to break out but we made it! I cannot attest to the other rooms, but I imagine they are also well thought out designs and hard to complete. I can speak for the Museum Heist, and I would absolutely recommend it to others!

Ive done a couple of these in Pittsburgh and other cities. Hands down, Breakout has been the best. The clues had challenging connections, but they werent frustratingly obscure, either. The story (we did the art heist) was tight. Room was well crafted. Plus, loved the fact that we could fill out permission forms digitally ahead of time and send them through so there were no hang-ups when we arrived. Top to bottom, great experience!

A great family fun night out!!! Our group, 4 adults and 3 teenage boys, we all had a blast and everyone contributed to our escape. The room was well thought out, challenging and Interactive. So for a great night out: Go to dinner get excited Go to your escape experience after Go out for coffee and dessert, and have a great Time talking and laughing about your escape. ps...the staff were friendly, fun and professional.

I did the museum heist room a few weeks ago. Our team consisted of two escape room newbies and two escape room veterans. This was my first time doing an escape room, and it was so much fun!!! The puzzles were really engaging and kept the four of us busy. Our puzzle master Dave was awesome - really friendly from the moment we walked in. I would 100% recommend to others, and I definitely intend to go back!

Breakout set the bar! This was our first experience in a breakout room. There were 3 adults and 1 child, visiting from out of state. Staff was incredibly helpful (even gave us restaurant suggestions when we asked)! Since then, weve been to 2 others and we were completely unimpressed! Thanks to everyone at Breakout - North Hills for making our first experience so memorable! Highly recommended.

Ive been to Breakout Games twice now and have had a blast both times! The staff is fantastic and the escape rooms are so much fun! (Ive done Operation: Casino and Museum Heist.) They thought of everything for these rooms and theyre a fun challenge that make you really think and work together as a group. I would highly recommend Breakout Games to any group looking for a fun, unique experience.

I went to Breakout Games with a group of my co-workers and we had a tremendous experience. The two rooms from which we were tasked to escape were complex, challenging, and required us to work together as a cohesive unit. On top of everything, the staff were top-notch professionals who made the experience all the richer. I highly recommend this site for a team building activity.

We went to Breakout Pittsburgh for our first escape room experience. Our family of four, (two adults and two kids, aged 10 & 12), had a great time. We did the Kidnapped room which was challenging but fun. It was a perfect family outing for a cold, January day. Joe, our game master, did a great job explaining things and answering our questions. We cant wait to go back!

We were first timers so did not know what to expect. It took us a while to figure out how to go about interpreting the clues, but eventually we were understanding. We didnt make it out of our room in time, but we had a great time working at it. We will definitely go back to try another room! Our leader was great; she checked in on us often to be sure we were okay.

What an amazing experience!!! Being it was our first time in a game like this we werent sure what to expect. The people where extremely kind and outgoing to make you feel like you where on the edge of your seat yet comfortable that you wouldnt be stranded. I couldnt ask for a better experience definitely going back to try and complete the other rooms ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went as a family with our grown college kids! Sometimes hard to get them excited to do something with the old folks. BUT ....we had a blast and we were able to break out with 14 minutes to go! It was fun, teamwork required but dont take it too serious, it is a game after all. The staff was very friendly and professional. Next break ..... we will be back

Our group had an awesome time! We did the "Museum Heist" room and it was challenging, exciting, and fun! I felt like this was the best escape room company that Ive ever been to! Great service, organized, and helpful! Our gamemaster, Lauren, was also really sweet and fun! Thanks, Breakout Games! Well be back! :)

We didnt know exactly what to expect - although we struggled a little in the beginning, the game master helped us to redirect our thinking and eventually our team just cracked one code, puzzle and riddle after another - fastest 53min of my life, what a thrill - we are hooked and are definitely doing this again!!!

We love escape rooms and have visited many throughout the area. This was definitely one of our favorites! The puzzles were challenging and the theme was interesting. The room was a little small, however. There were just two of us and I think if there were 8, it would be cramped. I highly recommend it, though!

A wonderful surprise birthday party for my fifteen year old son. The puzzles were spot on, clever and whimsical but also challenging. The staff was amazing! They really created an atmosphere of professionalism and confidence and also shared in the celebration of the day! Highly recommend them!

Five of us (age 22 to 63 - three first-timers) did the Island Escape - we finished with one second left, and had a GREAT time. The staff made it fun, explained things well, and throughout the hour asked if we wanted a clue when we were stuck. It was so much fun, we will definitely come back!
