To all future couples looking for a venue please take the time to look here because if i was not driving by this place would have slipped my mind. I have dreamed of my wedding my whole life and this was better then i could have ever dreamed. The whole belvedere staff made my wedding so personal i felt like i was the only person they had to worry about. Kat managed our whole wedding and from the beginning she makes you feel like your best friends shes understanding and kind and so easy to relate to she was there from the beginning all the way to the very end when my bustle ripped in the middle of my reception and she sat and sewed it back herself and she was off it was not her night to work shes absolutely incredible. The wait staff the bartenders and our the lady who worked with us the night of our wedding (i forget her name ) but took care of our every need and had the nicest words to say. The food was wonderful everyone has not stopped talking about it we had the chicken and crab and the filet and mashed potatoes and Cesar salad im picky and this food was tasteful! And just because my wedding ended at 10 doesnt mean they stopped working at the end of the night i was waiting for our ride back to the hotel outside and the owner (the gentleman) came and brought me a chivari chair from inside to sit out on the curb on so i didnt get my dress dirty. These are good people I cannot thank them enough.
so disappointing - I was married 20 years ago in the 12th floor ballroom at the Belvedere when it was owned by Truffles - which was a fabulous company to work with - and which threw an amazing wedding. I wanted to come back and celebrate my anniversary with dinner at the Belvedere. I asked if we could have access to the ballroom to take a photo, and although the ballroom was not booked that evening they said no. After repeated requests to do something in the ballroom in addition to the dinner we were having in the Owl Bar, i.e. drinks or dessert, they generously offered for me to have my entire anniversary party in the ballroom. Unfortunately, that was over my budget and I thought that dinner for 20 people in the enormous ballroom would not be very convivial. When I politcely turned down their offer, Nancy refused to answer another one of my emails. I was told my dinner would be in the Owl Bar and I was only to deal with Jackie, the Owl Bar manager from that point on. Nancy and Jackie refused my every request just to go up to the ballroom to take a photo and would not put me in touch with the owner. It was so unpleasant dealing with them, we ended up not eating in the Owl Bar at all. I have wonderful memories of my wedding and Truffles but Belvedere & Co. needs a seroius lesson in hospitality.
I dont know which was better, the staff or the venue! I am so happy we chose the Palm Room for our ceremony, and the13th floor for our reception. The venue is modern and swank, and the view is beyond amazing. Our guests were so impressed and have not stopped gushing about our event, including the drinks and food. We had the pleasure of working with Jennifer, and she made all our dreams come true! She is so upbeat and positive, as well as prompt with all emails and info. The rest of the staff made us feel so welcome, even though we had numerous questions and popped-by their office incessantly. Everyone there is so sweet and makes you feel like part of the Belvedere family. From the planners to the bartenders, I cant say enough good things about the staff. Choosing the Belvedere was one of the easiest and best decisions we made!
We just had our wedding here and everything was perfect! Jennifer K. (the event coordinator) was wonderful and really organized. The 13th floor used to be open as a restaurant/bar, but it is now for private events only. We also had our ceremony up there and everything went off with no issues! Our guests could not believe how beautiful the venue was and we got a ton of compliments! I definitely recommend if you are looking for a more night life/city vibe vs. the typical ballroom. The day of we were assigned a bridal attendant (Ms. Vanessa) and she was incredible!! She was there for our rehearsal as well and made sure to get everyone where they needed to be and I could not have been in better hands. Thanks Jennifer, Ms. Vanessa, and the entire staff of the Belvedere that made our day perfect!!
Our wedding at the Belvedere was absolutely unforgettable! Leading up to the big day, Kat was wonderful answering any questions or concerns we had and never made us feel like they were dumb questions (a lot of them probably were). You get a lot included in the price (it was nice not to have to worry about things like linens, china, bar, even cake) and the ballrooms are so beautiful that we thought we definitely got our moneys worth. Aside from loving the building, the food was great, the cake DELICIOUS, and the location was perfect for our MANY out of town guests. It was so nice to have the Owl Bar downstairs for everyone to go to after the reception. We will remember our wedding day as nothing short of amazing <3
The Belvedere was the perfect place for our wedding. The 12th floor ballroom is absolutely stunning, it was the perfect size for our wedding of 200 (with a large dance floor), and the food was delicious. The Belvedere staff was very useful in helping us to select vendors too, telling us about others who had done a good job there in the past, and they were great at working with our wedding planner. Since they do so many weddings, some might see them as a bit of a "wedding factory," but in truth, their experience means that they really know how to put on a wedding! Many people in attendance at our wedding told us during and after the event that it was the best wedding they had ever attended.
Our Company had our Holiday Party on the 13th Floor and it was AMAZING. The view of Baltimore is gorgeous. The clients we invited were very happy. They were able to provide us with some specialty beers that we had requested. The food was great. We had a few people with dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate those guests. We were able to control the music. We customized it the whole thing to fit our company. The event coordinators are so helpful and get back to you right away. It was perfect. Highly Recommended!
I can not say enough good things about our wedding at The Belvedere earlier this month !!! Kat, and Lori made every step of the way so easy and fun, that I didnt have to worry about anything except showing up on time. The food was delicious, all of our guests were raving about it, and the ice cream bar which was awesome! We got to have a sneak peek before our guests entered the reception, and it was just amazing how they made it look exactly how I had envisioned it in my head. Best day ever!
My sister and I hosted our 30th birthday at the 13th floor. It was a total hit!! We worked with Jennifer, who was AMAZING. We couldnt have asked for a better planner or a better venue. The 13th floor is a modern, ultra chic, and BEAUTIFUL place!! If we had to do it all over again, we wouldnt change a thing :) Thanks to everyone at the Belvedere for making our 30th birthday one to remember.
