Do not book an event here. I reserved 2 lanes (2 games, shoes, and food) for my party on a Saturday and our night was ruined due to terrible service. The lanes were not ready at 8:00pm when my guests arrived so we had to wait 30 minutes. There was a mix-up and they thought my party began at 9:00pm – it’s ok, people make mistakes. Around 8:45 food arrived and we took a 15 min break or so to eat. From that moment on our waitress came up to me probably over 6-7 times to let me know what time it was and that we must be done by 10:00pm. Excuse me? We didn’t start until 8:30. You expect 12 people to bowl 2 games, have dinner, have birthday cake, get drinks, etc. in an hour and a half? When I told her there’s no way we will be done by 10:00pm she told me that we could just play 1 game instead of 2, or if we can squeeze another game in TWENTY MINUTES then she will only charge me for one – I dont think she realized how ridiculous she sounded….. Her second option was that we stop bowling and just hang out at their bar. Really? You want me to come to a bowling place and spend over $600 and make my guests hang out at your bar instead? And let me just be clear, we were by no means just hanging out taking our time. We were bowling constantly except for the 15 minutes we stopped to eat. Also, not to mention my entire party spent a TON OF MONEY there that night on liquor drinks and shots. After an hour and a half of being harassed by our waitress the manager finally came to talk to me around 10:30pm. Sorry, too late, our night was already ruined. You’d be better off going to this place and just waiting for a lane since they apparently get priority over someone who planned an event a week in advance and paid for their required food package. This place is a joke and I will never again come here. The manager was nice enough to only charge me for one game and the next day the event coordinator did call to apologize. All nice gestures but unfortunately the damage was done, and I want to make sure no one else has their birthday or event ruined like I did.

The decor here is really great. The staff on the other hand are just terrible at thier job. They are so disorganized and have no clue or care in the world about their patrons. Ive seen chickens with their heads cut off more organized and coordinated than these folks working here. And our waitress, oh lord! This girl must have been Houdinis assistant in her past life because girl can sure disappear on you and never be seen again. One tip before going: DONT ask the staff dress in all black for help! They are the bussers and bar backs. One of the bar backs notice that we werent being helped so he asked what we needed. I said we wanted to close our tab and he started messing with the register but i quickly realize he didnt know what he was doing when he was using a computer that was turned off!!! Management needs to make sure their employees stay in their roles. When employees start doing duties that are not in their job description things start going down hill and everyone forgets what they are suppose to be doing. P.S. i was jk about the computer bring turned off but he didnt know how to work it. He should have just got the bartender to attend us.

I drove twenty minutes with a friend of mine to get to this place. It is a Thursday night, and it says on their website that theyre open until 2am on Thursdays. It also says the same thing on the sign outside of the door. When we arrived at midnight (two full hours before theyre supposed to close), we found all the doors locked even though the lights were on and there were people inside. We got inside when a couple was leaving. Wondering why the doors were locked, we asked someone working at the bar, "Are you closed?" He nodded yes. I said that their sign says theyre still open for another two hours. He said that theyre "changing it". We left and drove 20 minutes back home. I should have asked to speak to the manager. You can update your hours online instantly, so people like me dont drive all the way out there just to be turned away. If we had gotten there a few minutes before closing, I would understand. But we got there TWO FULL HOURS BEFORE CLOSING. We definitely could have finished a game before 2am. I kind of hate this place now. I bowl a lot and was excited about an alley being open late. You lost a potential loyal customer.

A laid back Big Lebowski-themed bar and restaurant. Wash down Twisted Root burgers, shakes or salads with a local or craft beer on tap or cocktails like "the Nihilist" or "the Caucasian" (even if you havent seen the Coen Brothers cult classic film, whose characters Walter, Jesus and the Dude are painted on black velvet adorning the warehouses whitewashed walls). This is not the place for league or hasty bowling; equipment is reclaimed and recycled from Longview in east Texas — so ball return and pin resetting may be slow, and the score-keeping technology may be a smidge off — but these quirks only add to the fun atmosphere. While you may have to await lane availability on weekend evenings, theres also a chance youll catch some local music.

Management: please put blinds use over back windows, the beaming light of the sun is completely blinding and frustrating. You cant have a conversation with anyone without covering your eyes. I wont come again during the this time with the sun. Once the sun sets its fine! Bowling alley atmosphere is cool, staff is great, princes reasonable. Food: wings are great! We loved them. Chip and dip disappointing. Cheese was good; salsa was from a can, and a bad can at that; guac was super cold, and didnt seem fresh or with a lot of flavor. Drinks: Irish coffee tastes really good along with bloody marry. This can be a great place with a few changes, but good for a decent time with friends.

I went to this place on a Friday night with Bae. I didnt see what I expected to see when I got there(In a good way). The first place we viewed was the bar to order drinks and food. Two things that I didnt like; the kitchen closed at 11pm and NO BUD PRODUCTS! I got over the Bud product thing I got over rather quickly because I didnt want to ruin the date night. It took them about 10 minutes to get our lanes ready( Quick Service ). The equipment was hard to operate and the waiter didnt give us any directions. Overall I had a great time till I received the bill. I didnt realize that it would be so high. We paid and tipped because we really enjoyed ourselves!

I love this place and dont quite understand the poor reviews. It is a vintage bowling alley that has been relocated. That being said, you will not be throwing any competition level or perfect games here. There are other places around town if that is your thing. The drinks are not cheap but the selection is great. Granted I dont come here at midnight on a Saturday expecting to walk onto a lane and am yet to find a bowling alley where that is an option. I have frequently come in mid-afternoon on weekends and have never waited. Staff has always been attentive and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone who doesnt have their nose in the air.
