Extremely Dissapointed, we felt like we were treated as second class citizens probably due to the fact we were not members and booked through Golf Now - Deal Caddy. I even sent them an e-mail to highlight our concerns. The client rep promised to call me back but never did. I have given them 3 weeks to respond (fair warning) prior to posting this review. Here was my response to Kingwood about my experience "I was given your contact details by a member of your staff at reception. I would like to inform you that I was not very impressed at all with the condition of the forest course in which I played yesterday afternoon with a colleague. I understand the maintenance has to be performed on the course but I did not expect the greens and the bunkers to be in such bad condition along with the fact that there were several workers in the midst of their work disrupting our game throughout the whole time that we played. I fail to see how you can allow visitors and members on the course when its clear to see that even the grass on fairways, semi rough fringes around the Green and green itself was in need of some TLC. We exchanged some words of disappointment with 2 of your members yesterday and they told us the course condition was disgraceful.....they didnt finish their round and walked off. We purchased a voucher deal to come and play one of your courses for the first time, it was advertised come and spend the day as a member the only time that I felt like I was being treated fairly was from the welcome I received at reception. I personally believe you should not allow the public (like me) to be deceived into thinking the Golf Now deal is such a great deal when there is nothing mentioned of the course face-lift thats going on right now nor the disruption during game play. In fact no-one even mentioned course conditions to me until I expressed interest in membership! I am very disappointed. Chris

Have been a member for almost a full year now and couldnt be any happier. Im a golfer so I really enjoy having four courses (or five if you count Deerwood) available to play. Theyve kept the courses in pretty good shape, even during the middle of summer when drought conditions make such a task a difficult one. The renovated Clubhouse, the new Island Grille and Tavern 91 (both food and service are awesome, props to the Chef and his staff!) and the new locker room area are great, as well as the Fitness Center with its very large spaces and state of the art equipment. But what I enjoy the most about this place is the amazing staff that runs it, always on top of things and incredibly friendly, from the General Manager to the maintenance crew. The place is great and offers a great experience and value for those that live in the Kingwood area and those like me that dont mind commuting there every weekend.

I am a member here, and I really enjoy it. My family gets a lot of use out of the club. My wife and I both use the golf a lot, and our kids are on the unlimited monthly daycare, which is nice. Oldest daughter (6) is also taking the golf camps in summer, and really enjoys it. Pool area is great for family. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is the service in the restaurant can be pretty bad sometimes. They auto tip everyone, and sometimes the wait staff acts like they know their tip, so they dont have to work for it. Food is great though, and overall experience here is family oriented and fun

I didnt really eat all that much at Kingwood Country Club but I played the Forest Course and the front nine of the Island course. The Island Course was much easier as the lies were flat. The Forest Course is more of a links style course as not of the lies were easy. To make it even harder, you had to strategically hit different clubs out of the tee box as I could drive through most fairways. Both courses were very fun.

The Club keeps getting worse. Golf course conditions, food quality , and customer service are at a low. Fitness and Pool areas are okay. No more "Member is King", now it is "Member is Just a Number". Employee morale is at rock bottom. No Leadership! The good old days with Johnson, Faubion, Freeman, Apple, Barnard, Preisler, Hamilton, Yost, Becknell, Miller, and Becton are gone. Very sad, Clubs of Kingwood R.I.P.

A wonderful place to go! The food is excellent, the pool is a mini resort, the staff is amazing. We spend as much time here as we can. The Holiday events are over the top and the restaurant views are total peace. Its worth every penny and its super affordable to be a member.

Was at a wedding here in May 2013. This country club used to be dated and old. Theyve invested a ton of money into revamping the bar, restaurant, club shop and pool areas. To me, it now looks like the high-end country club they are trying to go for.

Members only County club. Pool area and athletic facilities are very nice. Workout area has all the modern equipment. A full membership allows you four golf courses to choose from. Club dining options available and catered facilities are very nice.

I go here to play tennis and the courts are really nice and when you go to the pool which has slides diving boards a splash pad and also a lazy river so and they also serve you with care but it does cost quite a lot of money but is worth it.

As I kid this was the place to be to play golf, swim, eat, or generally just enjoy all that Kingwood has to offer. As it is a lot older now, it has gotten even better with expanded swimming facilities and more courses to choose from.

Nice country club. Had a good time playing golf. I was a guest and was invited. Was given a tour of the clubhouse. Found out that part of the movie Tin Cup was filmed here.

Love the food, Service, Golf, Fitness and Pool. The memberships are reasonable enough for everyday people and they go out of their way to give a world class experience!

I love the golf courses here. Each course is very unique and calls for different styles of play. My Favorite course is the Forest Course.
