Wouldnt know much about the course. Took out of.town guests for a round. Had an early tee time and checked in. The round was $39.00 but for some reason the pro shop could not break a hundred dollar bill, we asked if we could pay at the turn and the guy said no. We left and went up the road to.Red Wolf Resort. They had no problem taking our money. With all the coures in Houston to play, Newport will never get me or any of my golfing buddies money. Great job guys.

If you are looking for a beautiful, all inclusive venue for a wedding and reception, this is your place. I got the all inclusive package, and this was my youngest daughter getting married. When they offered the all inclusive, I could not pass that up. They really took care of so much it was money well spent. My daughter had a wonderful unforgettable day. You can not go wrong using this for your special day.

Do NOT rent this place! Stay away! When you have to change wedding coordinators at least 3 times during a 3 month span, have the worst communication problems with the owner/manager, funds are mismanaged, staff is rude, lazy, and they charge a hefty rental fee and do none of the work-- you are better off somewhere else!! Be forewarned, stay away from this place!! Better business Bureau WILL BE contacted

Ill never understand why the HOA bought the golf course instead of just letting it fail. This is a really rough golf course. Fairly easy layout without many elevation changes but the conditions and quality of the grass is just no good.

We live in Newport and the golf course and work out room along with the pool and tennis courts are at our disposal. Open from 5am-9pm. Absolutely enjoy working out here. Staff is very helpful.

We had our 50th Anniversary party there and it was wonderful thanks to Vanea and her staff. Everyone was very helpful and it looked beautiful.

After a management change the course has really improved. Greens are in the best shape Ive ever seen them.
