I invited my family and friends of 11 to bring the new years in at Alley Cats. Some of my family members were from East Texas. I purchased a Value pack of coupons a while back and had to use m by12-31-09, so I invited my family out to use them. To my family and friends surprise Alley Cats was not honoring their coupons on New Years Eve. I would not have a problem with that if the coupon indicated that they would not honor on specific dates, WHICH IT DID NOT, or even if there were signs up posted that THEY WERE NOT ACCEPTING - WHICH IT WAS NOT! We were highly disappointed that both managers did not accomodate me and family and friends in any way besides giving us $5 off their 40 Adult and 25 Kid News Eve rate. Ive never been in such a situation where managers(2 assitant managers) didnt try to accomodate customers in someway, especially if the problem occured due to poor planning or the lack their of. My family and friends ended up going to FUN FEST, which were very pleasant. We had to do some additional driving, but we had a great time and would consider the FUN FEST as our new family hangout. I would nerver go to or recommend Alley Cats to anyone. If you plan on buying their Value Packs - DONT! I do plan on writing to corporate as well. Again, I cant say how disappointed I am, the kids and family were. We had crying kids on our way out the door of Alley Cats:(

I really like Alley Cats and Putt Putt. The bowling alleys are CLEAN! I am constantly amazed by this. The prices are high, though. Unless you sign up for the Kids Bowl Free program where the kids can bowl two free games a day during the summer, this can get expensive for hourly bowling. The arcade games are also rather pricey, but at least the tickets count double when they are exchanged for points. My kids always manage to get something in the 300-400 point range with only a $5 or $10 game card. The laser tag is great for teens and adults, but not for little kids. My 6 year old could not fit the vest. They have moved some things around and removed a jungle gym/net climb that really was not fun for even the little kids who could climb it. There is a rock climbing wall that works well for kids aged about 8 and up. My 11 year old had no problem but my 6 year old would not have fit the harness even if she did want to climb. We like the lane service. While bowling, you can have your pizza and drinks delivered to the lane so you never have to stop and wait at the counter to see if it is ready yet. I have also found great specials during the week.

I booked a bowling party for my daughter online. I didnt have time to take an actual tour of the facility and relied on my phone conversations and the virtual tour online. As soon as I booked the party online, I received a confirmation email and phone call. Staff greeted me professionally and asked for the flavor of cake and tshirt size. When we arrived to the front desk, we were immediately greeted by our party host. She was wonderful! We had several party goers arrive late and she was there to greet all of them and get them signed on for bowling. Everytime I needed her she was there and kept us very informed! The party room was set up, clean, pizza and cake were great as well. The party included bowling, shoe rental, pizza, drinks, cake, tshirt for birthday child, bowling pin with balloons to sign, $10 game card for birthday child, $5 game cards for guests, dvd of cartoons, all for a great price. I highly recommend this establishment for birthday parties! THe couches to sit at the lanes and scrolling happy birthday kids names on the big screen was a great touch as well!

Today I went to Alley Cats, and left in a bad mood. I had Alley Cats cards from the previous times that I have been. My friend and I were going to combine 5 cards on to one. We were supposed to have over 30 points and 5k tickets. When we got to the counter, the lady who was helping us didnt seen pleased to do what we asked, to combine the cards. She gave one card back, with less than what we walked in with. We asked for our cards back, and she already threw them into to stack with the rest, so she didnt give them back. When she asked for help with a coworker, he said that we didnt have any other cards, and this was the only one that we gave, which made no sense to us. We tried to explain what happened to him, but he kept saying we were wrong, even though he wasnt there when the lady was "combining" the cards. We finally left, because we were not going to stand there while an employee was calling us liars. The service was very poor, and we are definitely not going back to Alley Cats, with them treating us like that.

I took my family of three young daughters there on a slow Wednesday night, everything there was very over priced. Do not plan on going unless you have over $100 to spend on one outing. You might as well spend $250 for a family of five season passes to six flags. In the arcade just about every game cost $2.00 or more. When my 6 year old daughter turned her tickets in for a prize they gave her a broken toy and then would not let her exchange it. My daughter left sad and crying after spending $50 in the arcade. Just for my three daughters to bowl was going to be $50.00. They are charging $4.00 per kid to climb on a gym much smaller than what McDonalds has for free. Save your money take the kids to Micky Ds for they will be happier. What ever happened to a reasonable night out for kids entertainment. Especially in this tight economy. I will not return to Alley Cats. Forum bowl or spare time lanes is much more affordable, for just as much fun.

Most terrible experience at Alley Cats Pro Shop. Had a ball refilled which the owner did wrong and had to plug 3 times. Bought a brand new ball for the wife which he drilled too deep and cracked after only 6 frames. Bought a brand new Alpha Crux for me which I told him to drill with a 4x4x2 layout because I wanted the ball to have its highest hook potential and he said OK. I went outside to give him time and not watch over his shoulder. When i came back he had drilled the ball completely opposite. When I asked why he said it would hook too much even though he had never seen me bowl or ask what I was going to use it for. On oily lanes the ball now has none to little hook regardless how much lift I put on it but is OK on light to very light oil. I would not recommend this unprofessional shop to anyone! 3 balls and he managed to ruin all 3 that I had to take somewhere else to get fixed.

Had my sons 8th bday party here this past Saturday. It was our first time coming here. All the children had so much fun! We purchased the ultimate party package, and I must say it was well priced for everything that was included. My only complaint is our party host wasnt very cheerful, and was not organized. She kept leaving our party room to grab things that I feel should have been prepared before we entered the room. She didnt communicate very well with me and seemed really unsure/unorganized. Perhaps she was new? Also I ordered 3 platters and the food was COLD! I would not recommend ordering platters for a party it was not worth it at all. I should have just gone with just the pizza. Other then that we had a wonderful time and I will be back and possibly have another party at this location again!
