Went to see Star Wars Rouge One today and was completely blown away by my experience. As the movie started I noticed there was no backlight on the screen so the image was extremely dark. You couldnt make anything out. I immediately got up to let someone know what was going on. I was told they were working on resolving the issue and it wouldnt take long. I sat in theater 9 for about 8 minutes with no resolve. Finally I went back outside and asked for a manager. When she approached I thought to myself "she looks young, sharp and reliable." Oh was I wrong. "Where has my judgment gone" I asked myself. When we finally exchanged words I informed her of the situation and that I have waited a long time to see this movie. A movie is an experience from beginning to end and the beginning, for me, was ruined. Keep in mind was calm and polite the whole time. I asked if I could get my money back so I could come and see it the correct way but was told I could only pick another time that day. Sadly I told her I dont have time to just come to the movies whenever I wanted and this was my only free time today. She then told me she will try and refund my money back to my card which I told her I didnt use a credit card I used a gift card and some cash. She responded by telling me she cant put money back on a gift card and she didnt know what else she could do. Stunned that she had reached the end of her abilities to correct the situation, I replied by asking for ticket vouchers. Her face lit up and she said "what a great idea. I could definitely do that !" Ok Hold on.. so youre telling me management couldnt think of giving me a couple vouchers in the first place let alone at all? I held my tongue and got my two vouchers. I asked before I left if they knew what was wrong and she said she thought it was just the movie but it happened during Assassins Creed as well.... so apparently they have known about the issue for at least a day and were STILL showing movies on the faulty screen, STILL taking peoples money without informing them that the screen would be dark and letting people sit in there. Oh but she said they were giving refunds if anyone asked so I guess its ok.. anyways 0 out of 5 stars. Wouldnt recommend this theatre to anyone.

I gave a 5 star rating 2 mos ago, but after todays matinee I give them a 1 star. They now leave the lights ON during movies, the same lights that are left on when previews play (the lights on the walls and ceilings). I couldnt believe it! The colors of the screen are no longer bold/crisp as they are muted by the flat dull reflection of lights off the screen. The scenes that are supposed to be dark are now lit up. I asked them why the lights are on. The usher told me they are left on for "safety." "Safety from what?" I asked. Then he explained that its safety for the disabled; due to some old lady with wheel chair who couldnt see to get to her seat so now the lights stay on while the movies play. They better hope that ALL the Killeen disabled watch ALL of the Regal Cinema movies EVERYDAY because Regal-Killeen will need every paying customer they can get. When other families like mine no longer go there theyll have to start cutting costs/letting employees go, turn the heat off, close the snack bar, etc. If this continues then in less than a year we will see them filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Wont this be great for Cinemark in Harker Heights? Its too bad because the remodel really made the theater an upscale place to watch movies. Ill check back periodically to see if the "lights on during movies" policy is still in effect, and if it is then Ill check with Cinemark, Harker Heights, or just wait until Netflix gets the movies.

Over all, it seems as if this new cinema "Regal" is way to concern about the appearance and has fallen short in the basic areas of a cinema like: less wait time at the Concession Stand area...just because you rope it off to form a line for the concession stand doesnt help at all if you only have two registers open but those two people operating the registers are also the only two people who are filling the customers order, restocking the ice machines, the butter dispensers, the popcorn machine, the cup dispensers, popcorn bag dispensers, refilling the customers Large popcorn pails when the Customer has to re-enter the long line again just to get a refill on their Large popcorn that has already been paid for...And, the cleanliness of the cinema is Not up to any basic standard for a public place...this includes, the bathrooms, main lobby, out side parkinglot area, the actual movie screening rooms as well...Hollywood Cinema (the previous cinema) needed a little TLC but it was clean and they did pay attention to the small areas...I no longer frequent the Regal Cinema in Killeen, Texas...I enjoy the cinema in the Copperas Cove they seems to pay attention to the basic things and they have recently remodeled as well...sorry my review is so long but this has been my experience and I have lived in this Military Community for years...

I bought two tickets but didnt get to see the movies because I had a emergency. Came back 3 days later to watch the movies and was told by the manager that I couldnt because I had to see them that day or purchase more tickets. It does state on the tickets that tickets are good only for that day, but I did not see the print on the back. The tickets also state that the management reserves the right to refuse admission on this ticket by refunding purchase price. I WAS REFUSED ADMISSION BUT THE MANAGER DID NOT REFUND MY MONEY. The tickets SHOULD SAY "NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES AFTER DATE OF PURCHASE. TICKETS GOOD ONLY FOR THAT DAY is misleading. The manager was really rude and told me that I WAS TRYING TO GET SOMETHING FOR FREE, after I asked if I could see the movies because I had already purchase tickets. This offended me very much. This theater needs to be consistent in how they conduct business; sometimes the ticket checkers let you go ahead and see the movies and sometimes they dont. I feel as though the movie theater industry is stealing from their customers, when money is not reimbursed for movies not seen after you have spent your hard earned money with them. Now I am out of money. THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE GETTING SOMETHING FOR FREE. I guess I will be going to Harker Heights now for all of my movie needs.

Me and my family went to see Beauty and the Beast yesterday (2:45 Showing) We arrived 30 minutes early and were told that the theater was in the process of being cleaned up. We took that time to get some snacks and returned to the theater 10 min before the show. The theater was absolutely FILTHY!! I had to actually take napkins and wipe the grease off the seats. The floor was disgusting as well. Pop Corn and napkins everywhere. I felt uncomfortable putting my food in the holders. I would have taken a picture had I not forgotten my phone at home. Fast forward to the movie..the previews start...and we went about 10 min in with no picture only sound. My 7 year old started getting frustrated at the fact that we could hear the cool Disney previews but werent able to see anything on screen. I finally had it and had to get up to tell someone about the blank screen. Which they were quick to fix. Also the rooms are big but you arent able to see the full screen due to how high the walls in front of the seats. The colors are also very dull and the tones are off. Bells dress looked a light pink color not a vibrant golden yellow. I really hope this message reaches management. I worked at a theater as a teen and cant understand why these type of things are not being monitored by management.
