I love this place! For an older theater (and such an inexpensive one) the young staff do a great job cleaning up between screenings and in keeping the place as nice as it can be under the existing circumstances. (The place could use a complete renovation but if it had that, it probably wouldnt be a dollar movie!) The clientele here is generally a good mix of all ages and races and the vast majority are respectful, polite and mindful of movie etiquette. I love coming here with friends, first dates, and when I just want to get away by myself for a short time. Yes, the movies have been out awhile, but odds are I havent seen them ALL yet, and for $2.00, if the movie sucks, I dont even care! There was a comment from someone about having to buy a ticket in one line, then move over three feet to buy refreshments, which is true. This is quite handy, and absolutely necessary, when lines are long right before a show begins. Although it might seem silly if you are the only person purchasing both at the time, please understand generally these are young people, often working their first job, doing exactly as they have been instructed to do. I am sure the proceeds must be kept separate, and yes, a seasoned worker would know to move around and leave their customer in one place. But these are KIDS. Who are WORKING. And SERVING you. And you are seeing a moving for 2 bucks and can also get a hotdog for a buck. So lighten up!! And enjoy the show!

My two boys and I have been coming to this theater for years. Although, its a run down smelly old place, we still had a great time when we came. This last time, however, will probably be our last time ever conducting business with this establishment. My boys and i were coming to see a 9:50pm showing and as we were walking up to the door a male employee looked straight at us and walked briskly to the door to lock it. Mind you, it is 10:03 and I had to clean mcdonalds BBQ sauce out of My back seat upon arrival. (S#!? Happens!) So we see him lock the door and I double check the starting time. The same shaggy appearanced male employee, who locked the door, refused to let us in or sell us any tickets. Now what made it worse is there were 4 or 5 other employees just standing there talking to each other while he was refusing business with us. Nothing has been cleaned or put away yet bcuz they were only supposed to close 3 mins ago. How much of an A$$H@!$ can you be to do that in front of an 8 and 9 yr old??! Well see what his superiors have to say about this in the morning.

We had to kill some time. The theater seemed like a good idea. We were wrong. The front counter team literally required us to pay one person for our ticket and then step three feet over to the next person to order our snacks. The theater itself was incredibly small, the picture was never quite in focus and it smelled moldy. If we didnt have to wait on someone getting their hair colored, wed have likely left before the movie was over.

North park cinema is the best dollar theatre in Oklahoma City. It has been for years. It may not be the best ran business in the area, but it is definitely a hole in the wall treasure for a lot of families and friends of mine. I will continue to attend movies in this theatre despite sticky floors, strange smells, and teen age staff members who have not been introduced to proper customer service

When it was just 1 dollar to see a movie this place was worth it. However, their prices have doubled and the quality of the screens (which are not that great), the sound (which is average at best) and the seating (filled with dirty and broken chairs) has remained the same. I would only recommend this if you are on a budget date or want to see a movie that has already left the regular theaters.

Very classy wine and dine experience. Definitely a place to bring a first date. I wish i had known about this place when proposing to my wife. I would have dropped to my knee and propised to her right there. I probably would have stuck to the floor and the seat would have smelt like urine and fart but still. How romantic. Highly recommended.

Used to be a dollar but cant beat 2 bucks still. Dirty seats and stinky. Screen reel so old school. However still a great deal for movies not on dvd yet and not in theater anymore. Not a first date theater but good for a group of friends with time to kill.

Good for cheap movies or a place to bring kids. The theaters are small, but you can see well from any seat in the theater. Seats are met and it can be messy as I dont think they clean up until the end of the day, but it is great for a bargain movie.

I like going to the theater but the service is horrible. I would try to get a refill and they wouldnt even show up. When we sat down for the movies there was still drinks, food and trash everywhere. Just horrible service, kind employees but lazy

Their prices went from a dollar to a lot higher but still much cheaper than any other theater around. Good place to go to see movies if u missed them in the other theaters. Beats renting them since there is no video rental place closeby.

Its cheap so I like it. Ive gone here since I was a kid. Its a great place if you want to see a movie in theaters but dont want to pay a ton of money. I think its a dollar matinee and 2 dollars after. Good popcorn.

These theaters just got bought by AMC so hopefully this place will be habitable again soon. Otherwise, steer clear. Their screen have rips, their projectors have blurry spots, their seats are worn out.

For the price of the movie ticket this is a great place to watch movies. You can buy $1 hot dogs also. We love being able to take our family of 5 to the movies here. Well worth it.

A dollar theater (where movies cost $2) and cheap hot dogs. Your feet will stick to the floor, but you also wont have some pompous millennial glaring you down.

You can see movies on Tuesdays for only $1 per ticket. Plus, hot dogs are just buck. Makes frugal penny-pinchers really happy. ;-) !!!!!!

Great place to watch movies that have been out in the theater for a while. The price is good and the theaters are cozy.
