The Sports Center of Connecticut (The Rinks at Shelton) is a very nice, clean facility. I have gone there frequently for mini golf and just stopped by this weekend to try out the Arcade. I was really impressed by the overall quality of the Arcade (i.e. clean, no odor, 99% of the games were in working order) The staff was very helpful when one game quit working - and they refunded my tokens. The arcade has a decent amount of games for being a small facility. There are 3-4 pinball machines, 6 or so skee ball lanes, 2 basketball shooter games, 1 football shooter game, 4 or 5 racing games, guitar hero, deal or no deal, coins on a ledge, a couple of gun/shooter games, etc. There are also duck pin bowling lanes across the hall from the arcade. Arcade play is token based. As of 01/24/10 tokens were 25 cents per token (4 for $1, 20 for $10, 40 for $10) The games the give tickets were 2 tickets per play. Games like guitar hero and racing were 4 tickets per play. The outdoor mini golf course is an excellent course and well maintained. An added bonus is that the course is open during the winter months. This would be a great location to have a childs birthday party. Or for a couple hours of fun for the adults :) who are young at heart.

I have never been to the sports center,we live in Stamford my son wanted to play lazer tag for his 13th birthday. I found the sports center on the internet. I called and spoke to the party coordinator Cathy Paris. Cathy could not have been any nicer answered all my questions and set me up for a party of 18 kids.When we arrived at the center for the party we met Niki a our party host. who was also great !! We all had a great time ! My son and his friends were very happy ! When we were leaving the manager Scott Hudak went out of his way to thank us for coming. GREAT PLACE ! GREAT EMPLOYEES !!

This is a great place to go for family fun! Mini golf, driving range, batting cages, laser tag, ice skating... All in one place! I would give it 5 stars, but the last time my wife and I went iceskating, they had a DJ night. The music was so loud that it hurt our ears. When we asked them to turn it down, the DJ seemed offended like we were spitting on his "art" or something. He complied, and then immediately turned it back up. This happened twice. The song selections had a lot of swears and sex... Not exactly the best place for kids around 8pm.

Always a great place to take the family, if you have no idea what to do with the kids, just go here. Kids driving you crazy? Play two rounds of laser tag and whoop them! Wifey got you down? Take some time and smash through a bucket or two of golf balls at the range. Your job ruining your life? Softly sob in your car in the back of the parking lot while over indulging on a box of donuts from Donut Crazy, which is directly across the street. Srsly tho something for everyone.

Nice place, better than other rinks in the area but poor management and higher prices gives a lower review. Locker rooms are nice but are a little tight, now that two on the upper level have been bought by college teams, the three replacements are smaller and are not directly connected to the bathrooms but now there are doors to the showers so you dont have to walk thru a dressing room. Overall: Nicest facility in the area, poor management & higher prices

Most of the games are broken, extremely hot inside. When the token machine took my money without giving the tokens, the owner was more confused I had a recipt than actually doing anything about it. After showing the recipt and bank statement, still questioned how I had a recipt. Instead of taking care of the problem or machine gave me number of someone else who might care. Will never go back here again.

Great Hockey facilities and tons of other activities for kids of all ages to do. The batting cages are really nice and there are a lot of batting cages so theres not wait. My son plays hockey in the league here every year. We have been coming here for over 10 years now. Great way to spend a weekend afternoon when theres nothing else to do.

There were rabbits everywhere. They werent nice rabbits like you see in the movies, they were nasty little critters. Biting and nipping my ankles, i didnt like it and i would kick them away but there were so many of those slimy little rodents that more would always come o replace them. Mini golf was fun, the kids loved it.

This place is great! A cost effective way to get out and have some fun! From the miniature golf to the duckpin bowling Lazer Tag area, theres fun for the whole family! Theres even batting cages, an arcade and a driving range on this nice little amusement campus.

Laser tag needs serious renovation, ice arena is never open for the public, paintball target shooting is fun yet overpriced. Fun bowl also needs renovations. Mini golf is challenging and fun, and the driving range is large. Arcade is overpriced and not worth it.

Honestly I am disappointed how some of the arcade games were broken on and off and at the food court this kid freaked out at me for eating Froot Loops and starts to throw a tantrum about it when I leave. Staff did not intervene which was disappointing

Great place for kids and family activities. Mini golf and mini bowling after always ready activities with the kids. The arcade is OK. If you want to skate or go to the driving range out is also a good option.

I play hockey at the rinks at the coaches and players are amazing people, they coach very well and the practices are always fun, the only downside is sometimes the ice quality is not too good

Nice family oriented sports complex. Good driving range, video games for young ones, well layed out miniature golf. I havent ventured into the other parts like the ice skating rink etc.

Love this place. So much to do between mini golf, ice skating, laser tag, batting cages and more. Its really a great place to spend the day. Great for families!

Friday Night ice skating would get five but can get a bit packed from middle schoolers makes it tough to skate and they can be a bit mischievous.
