Ive been going for the past 5 years and it is a fine experience Its not bad but there are a few things about it that are different than Galaxy 16 or Hollywood. The floor is sometimes sticky, If you go there to play the games they are outdated and dont work half the time. It is a little messy with popcorn on the floor, and the prices are crazy as in $3.75 for a small soda! But... The one thing that I consider the worst con is that it takes them forever to get a movie from the big theaters into this one. I literally remember it taking 6 months for the avengers movie to get from Galaxy 16 to this theater. But there are things that are way better than the bigger theaters! Pretty much the only one being the price. $2.00 every day (except one Tuesdays when its $1.00 So, For someone like me who just wants to watch a movie that evening that I havent already seen, and for someone who doesnt want to spend 8 bucks on a Galaxy 16 ticket, This place is great for that. Yet, unless its a movie Ive been waiting months for to come out, like The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, I will be coming here always. Despite the fact that its sometimes messy. BTW, I have never sat in or seen any wet seats "nuff said"

I was so disappointed in this theater to say the least. I went to watch a 3D movie last week. I walked in and the theater smelled so bad, like a filthy place with the smell of cleaner. I went to sit down and the seat was filthy and wet. Ugh! I moved to another seat that looked a little better but it was also a little damp. Did they wipe the seats with a cleaner in hopes that the fabric would become clean??? The floor was also very sticky. I wanted to leave but since I received a free popcorn and my husband wanted to make the best of it I stayed. Did I mention that a medium soda cost $4.75! Now the 3D movie was so badly blurred by either the very cheap glasses or the screen or both. So all the 3D effects were just blurred scenes which really took away from the movie. The smell never got better. My clothes felt so gross after awhile and as soon as I got home I changed clothes and threw the others in the laundry and I washed the bottom of my shoes. Which I have never felt the urge to do before so dont think Im a hypochondriac or something similar. And my husband did the same because he was just as grossed out. Very disappointing and I will never visit this theater again.

Wow. When my wife and I first moved to Waco in 2004 we loved this place. Sure it was a little run down, but the prices couldnt be beat! We visited last night for the first time in over a year and it was awful. The place stank. The movie started late and I had to go talk to the manager because there was sound but no picture. She didnt believe me and asked me to double check! Finally she went to check and had to stop the movie for 10 minutes. They had to replace a bulb! The seats...ugh. They must be the same worn out cloth seats from the 90s, at least, they look and smell like it. And the mens room...holy cow.The moment I walked in my nose was assaulted with stale urine and ammonia odors. One urinal was marked off as out of order. There were 3 OTHERS that werent working and had urine up to the brim. Not to mention there was a pool of urine stretching almost from one end of the urinals to the other. Thankfully, there were 2 urinals that kinda worked and werent in the pee pool. The sink counter was nasty. Once the movie got started the picture, clarity, and sound were great. I want to love this place for the price, but I just cant. I dont imagine well be back.

My mom and I just planned on watching the movie so werent going to buy anything at concession. Upon buying our tickets we learned that we had a free small popcorn on our rewards account so we decided wed use that. When we made it to our theater it had trash left from previous watchers and was kinda dirty. Before our movie started I needed a drink but the water fountains did not work and I was not going to buy a drink for the price they had. When I got back to our theater my mom was freaking out because a water bug had crawled onto her leg. I let the manager know but wasnt really told much. After the movie we told another worker because I didnt know who I had originally mentioned it to. He apologised and we left. We kept our feet up the whole movie and unless something is done about the theater and bugs, I dont think well be going back for a while.

My husband and I went to see "Mama". We witnessed a bunch of young kids sneaking into the movie theater and let the management know, they did not care at all. During the movie...the kids we talking the whole time and letting every know what they were thinking. Not sure how this did not bother anyone, no one said anything, but then again with that management, Im not sure they would do anything about it. First and Last time well be going there. I highly recommend Galaxy 16 on 333 South Valley Mills Dr., just down the road, only $5 for baylor students!

My husband and I visited for the first time to see Pain & Gain. Initially, I was disappointed and thought I would never visit again. However, I remembered what I always tell my daughter, "You get out what you put in" . I do appreciate Waco having entertainment for $2. I enjoyed the movie and would definitely return. If I want a more luxurious experience I will pay more for a different theater. For the price the product was enjoyable.

My family and I frequent this place several times each year. Cant beat $1 per person for a day at the theater! Weve gone many times for .50 cent Tuesdays and its $3 for the whole family to catch a flick. :) Its probably the nicest dollar theater Ive been to, and staff is generally pretty friendly. Concessions are priced similarly to any other theater you go to, but when you save $7-$10 per ticket, cant complain about that!

Sure, there isnt stadium seating and the chairs were a little worn, but hey, we paid less than $10 for our whole family to go to a movie together. The staff was extremely friendly and respectful and the whole place from lobby to bathroom to theater floor was immaculately clean. We hadnt been that impressed with a place in a long time. We will definitely be back!

50 cents movies on Tuesdays and $1 for most of the days $2 for 3d. Plus get a membership card where you get points and rewarded with free concession items. The concession is just as much as all the other theaters. The place could use a deep spring cleaning though i would say but overall Great place to go for the price i think and very nice staff !
