Any league bowler that has bowled here for years (as I have) would know that things have improved greatly and it is apparent during league nights. It has become a MUCH more enjoyable experience. New score monitors, new TVs staggered throughout, and more importantly, FAR fewer breakdowns occur because of preventative maintenance and there are now FAR fewer calls to the back. Off spot pins have now become a thing of the past and those used to drive me crazy! The shot has become consistent, predictable, AND high scoring (as the scores posted in this house reflect this). Lanes 1 thru 12 are synthetic, 13 thru 32 are wood. This place really needs to become all synthetic one day, but since things have so vastly improved there, that is now its only major drawback in my opinion. Kudos to Green Acres Bowl from your regular bowlers for the improvements.

Someone please open another bowling alley in Tyler. Management at Green Acres Bowling should know the type of person they have representing their organization! This attitude filled, redhead with glasses has "lots of class" and its all very low!!! Instead of a 1 star review I wish I could give them a "falling star" because thats exactly what will happen when someone else opens a bowling alley in Tyler and GAB closes. Dont have an attitude with patrons just because youre 40 something year old working on a Sunday with a teenager that will finish high-school and probably be your boss someday.

Between the zero personality staff that turns off your lane in the middle of a game, when you paid for four and got three (but at least the cashier helps with problems with the lane.), the lanes that dont register pins, and the bowling teams that think they own the place, with their greatest accomplishment in life being a strike, Id rather drive to Dallas instead of playing here. But, with gas as expensive as it is, I have to suffer and bowl here. Cant wait till that new place opens on 49.

If you want to play a single game then forget about it. You must pay for at least 2 games in order to play. You are also timed for a non-timed round. I believe my wife and I had 90 minutes to finish 2 games each. There is also a huge lack of chairs and tables. The computers are also extremely outdated. Dont expect any flashy graphics from them, unless you consider 8-bit to be flashy. The only upside is that the staff was friendly.

They were VERY rude to us. They charged us wrong and tried to make us pay AGAIN. Will NOT be going back EVER!!!! Disgusting place and unclean. Smells like something died. Shoes were falling apart and they did not seem cleaned. Ive always had problems going here. They stole our money, our coupons, tried to make us pay again, and refused to correct their mistakes. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! GO TO MINEOLA!!!!!

Hire people that CARE. Rude, rude, Rude. Period. I dont complain about price, I dont complain about rules, policies, things you cant control, but get a grip on your attitude. Havent encountered ONE nice employee in multiple visits. Spent $500 on balls and equipment ONLINE because your girls at the counter wouldnt let me talk to the pro shop. Four calls and every time "Hes busy" Your loss!

This place is the worse there is, service is terrible and the scoring systems are so out dated. The people that work there are so rude will not even help when the comp. system broke. They was just worried about getting peoples money. We paid for an hour and got to play seven frames before they shut the system down. Would not recomened to anyone.

Its fine, its a bowling alley. We bowled, we had fun. This aint the Buckingham Palace, but its cool. Equipment is dated and constantly breaking down. Edit; Its time for Tyler to get a new bowling alley, last 2 trips the power went down and the balls keep getting stuck. It shouldnt take 3 hours to barely get through 2 games. Embarrassing.

They got new systems. And it took about 30 minutes to set up because it wouldnt let us put all of our players in. Refused to give us our extra 30 minutes even though we paid for an hour. Front desk attendant was very rude and she clearly didnt want to be there. Bowling was fun. Arcade games stole lots of quarters.

Really, really gross. Feces on wall in restroom, outdated, broken machines fruit flies rampant, expensive drinks. Bar area totally deplorable. If I wanted grannies serving me alcohol, I would have a happy hour at a nursing home. Yuck, yuck, yuck - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

Friendly service, visited when the per game price was a deal. The center bowling lanes are tearable however. The center of the lanes, on the far end, is higher than the two outside parts of the lane. If you dont spin your ball then it just rolls off to one side or the other

We bowl twice a week. Pro is very knowledgeable and helped me pick out the perfect ball for me. His prices were cheaper than ordering online and he fitted the ball perfectly to my hand when drilling. Staff is friendly and helpful. Have both wood and synthetic lanes.

Our lane was kind of wonky. Several times over two games, a player would get 3 rolls in a frame because the lane didnt recognize that the ball had been thrown. Pitcher of beer is $12 and poor selection. Still had a ton of fun, just lots of room for improvement.

Was there with a huge group of children (58) and chaperones. It is much cleaner then it was years ago. The lady was very helpful, kind and cordial, handling problems as soon as they arose. We will be back and, personally, I will go back. It was an awesome time.

Everything is broken and outdated. Tyler is big enough now for a shenaniganz or something better than this at least. The owner of this place should tear it all down and open a main event or shenaniganz or heck just a regular bowling alley that actually works!

Went in for the first time tonight. While the equip is a little dated I had a great time. Inserts slipped out of my ball and they fixed it for me no charge. Staff was incredibly friendly.

This place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Its old and outdated. There are some very good and competitive bowlers in this area and they deserve a decent up to date bowling alley.
