My husband calls it the "Urine-Eight", but we still go there cuz its convenient and the prices cant be beat ($1 off for student IDs, even if they are 10 years old). I have been super annoyed at the one theater having a poor sound system (for years) and I have seen the roof leaking during a film and the worst part is the place is filthy including the womans room, but I have to say it is still fun to go to an old school theater and see new films. I dont care about the seats, they are good enough. I think I would like it better if they opened up the second concessions side (faster to get popcorn), took plastic and offered a wider variety of healthier snacks; however, I imagine this would raise the price. We all know that theaters make money on the snacks, not the movies. Anyway, dont have high expectations and go to the bathroom before you leave home and youll be OK.

Im disappointed that when new owners took over they didnt take the time to redo the theater. Its a prime location, but people are making the drive to Ithaca or Syracuse because they want to be comfortable while watching a movie. I came out during the movie and no one was around. I guess the people making the popcorn also have to run the movies? Even when the movie was over, no one was around. I waited and waited and was going to buy more food, but they lost money that day. If you are willing to look past sitting in a broken seat and having your feet stick to the ground, go here. This theater is fine for the times sitting in a movie theater to watch a certain movie rather than your home is ideal. Just remember to dress warm and understand you wont have the most comfortable experience.

Went to the movies to see a horror flick Meanwhile the inside of this place was more horrifying than the movie. The seats are disgusting smelly falling part one of the rules are no feet on the seats how can you when the seats are so close together My family and I were itching the entire time, seats were very uncomfortable. Wait let me not forget they charge for the ice WATER.

This place needs an overhaul before asking people to pay regular theater prices to go here. Seating is all torn and filthy (I mean nearly every seat, not just a few), bathrooms are horrid, I almost always go to Ithaca or Syracuse to see movies. This theater reminds me of $1 or $2 theater, but Ive been to some of them that were in better condition.

I know what I am getting when I come here. The lower star rating is because of lack of credit card processing which is always a huge inconvenience since I can never remember and in this age it is such an easy concern to fix. Theater is a little older and the areas are a little smaller, but its clean and I always have a good experience.

Sometimes the sound is choppy. The theater is very old, and the prices are very high considering the quality of the theater. The chairs arent very comfortable, and sometimes you can hear other movies playing because the place is so old and the insulation is bad.

Old run down building, seats are thread bare and ripped and sit very uncomfortable. Its worth the drive to Syracuse or Ithaca for a better theater
