My grandsons Donald 20 yrs old and the other one Daelan 14 were soo siked yesterday 9/10/17 @ 3:50 pm because they were finally going to see the movie IT. After being cooped up in the house and experiencing all of the disaster hurricane Harvey had to offer they just wanted to see the long awaited sequel to the movie IT. Sadly racial profiling and discrimination still exist in every aspect of our lives and Cinemark in Pearland is playing a part in it. My grandsons were turned away by the manger Ardean because she claimed that my oldest grandson Donald needed to have documentation that he was my youngest grandsons Daelans guardian to buy to tickets to the movie. My eldest grandson asked when this started and explained to the manager that this was not there first time seeing a movie at that theater together, and that they just watched a group of caucasion teens walk in alone. She again said he needed legal documents. Me and my daughter then called to speak to the manager Ardeen who said even though my grandson is 20 years old and of legal age that he and my 14 year old grandson would not be able to get into the movies. When I asked if this was an issue of racial profiling or discrimination she just held the phone and refused to answer. I asked if they require this for every single guest to show documentation for a child underage with a legal aged adult and she said yes. It is a sad day when you have explain to your children why they are treated differently than others for the color of their skin. Me and my family will definitely not be returning and I will spread the word! 1 star is too much to say the least!!!!!

DONT GO TO THIS THEATRE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MONEY STOLEN. This theatre gave me a terrible experience. I waited in line for a very long time. About ten minites. When I finally arrived at the front of the line I ordered my ly priced pop corn and was instructed to slide my card. After I did the girl at the regrister told me my card wasnt going through, and she asked other lady behind the regrister for help. They both struggled to get my card to go through and claimed that the wifi in the thatre had gone down, and that that was the reason why my card hadnt gone through. They told me I wasnt getting my food unless I had cash and promised nothing was charged to my card. So I politely stepped away from the counter and allowed the next person to order. However the next day I checked my account and they had charged ne $7.25 for food I never recieved. How convinient that the wifi went down that day, right? They got steal my money, rip me off, AND save popcorn. I feel offended and disgusted. The only reason I even gave this place one star is so I could write my review.

My friend and I decided to see an early showing to beat the crowd on a Friday afternoon. The employees were very pleasant but the theatre smelled like mildew from the time you walked away from the concession stand throughout the entire place!!! The smell got stronger as we walked down the hallway and into screen room #3. It was around 1pm so I assumed it would be nice and clean...not at all! Food and trash all over the floor, cup holders sticky and dirty. Once we sat down we noticed holes in the ceiling Im guessing from rain where the tiles had fallen and not repaired...thats probably where the mold/mildew stinch was coming from. That really needs to be repaired, I hope no one gets sick from the exposure

Took my 4 kids to watch Trolls at 8:55 tonight thinking there wouldnt be many teenagers there but I was wrong. I figured the movie had been out a while so thought I would chance it, big mistake. There were several groups of teens talking, getting up many times during the movie, looking at their phones. There was a lady that went to notify management and they pretty much did nothing about it. This was the 1st time that I have been back to this movie theatre in a year and will not be back anytime soon. Terrible movie theatre unless you are a teenager with no respect for others.

The stupid looking woman manager was standing around tearing tickets when she should have been helping us with the ticket kiosk problem that a majority of people had outside. There was a line out of the door and one cashier and she wasnt helping anyone. All she was doing was looking stupid tearing tickets and checking I.D.s. We bought our tickets online and ended up waiting for 30 minutes before someone helped us. Then when we got into the movie EVERYONE was talking. Who wants to pay $13 a ticket for that?

Staff was friendly but unfortunately the place was extreemely dirty. Trash was everywhere in the bathrooms. Only about 10 other people in the theater with us and a group of the kids were talking super loud and taking pictures during the movie which got a man to yell at them and yet no employee stepped in. Walking out of the theater I am hoping it wasnt real, but a group of kids pointed a gun out of the window and then sped off laughing. Wont be going back to this theater.

Nice neighborhood movie theatre. My husband and I actually go on Sunday mornings and its usually pretty empty; plus we get the matinee price. If you come at the usual movie night times of Friday and Saturday nights however, prepare for a long line to get popcorn, snacks, etc. We always buy our tickets online and use our phone to scan the tickets and have no problems cutting the line of those that bought at the gate. Gets a bit chilly so i always bring my summer sweater!

We went to watch a particular movie that was posted on marquee for 7.30, stood in long line, purchased 2 adult tickets for $19.06. Went into theatre, showing was a old black and white Bette Davis movie, no sound, finally got someone to ask what was going on. Went back to ask girl at concession why, she said the movie we wanted to see didnt show until 10:30. To just wait!!! Asked for a refund. Wont be driving back there, over priced, rude employees.

Being a parent of teenagers and smaller children, I am extremely disappointed that almost ALL of the movies that are playing at this theater are rated R. This is a family-oriented community, and the selection of movies playing at the theater should NOT be about 75% rated R movies. I prefer to drive 25 minutes to go to the AMC theaters where there is a better selection of family-oriented movies from which to choose.

Ive been here many times over the past several years and have had enjoyable experiences. Weekends tend to be more crowded just as any theatre would be. They have a good selection of concessions to choose from and they have the best popcorn. I think they use extra butter which may be the trick. With the rapid growth of Pearland the theatre needs some upgrading to accommodate the increased traffic and customers.

Me, my brother and some cousins went to go see a movie late at night unfortunately they wouldnt let us in because everyone needed an ID to watch a kids movie especially the little kids. We went again and I was was their guardian to watch an adult movies, apparently I needed papers to prove that was related to my brother. They need to change their restrictions when entering movies.
