This pet store has such a cool range of animals and what I would consider a good place for many people to get over the irrational fear of snakes and reptiles. Lets talk service. Quite a few times Ive gone into the store and there was just nobody around. No greeting and definitely no one just waiting for me to buy something. Its a different environment if youre used to petsmart, but its really obvious that the animals are well taken care of here. While I was confused that i couldnt find any employees and browsing I saw many people running back and forth in another room where the saltwater fish are kept. All I heard was a very insistent employee requesting more saltwater....he seemed quite worried, but I was happy to see nonetheless that the employees dont have time to simply wait for customers to come and purchase;to be honest they seemed a bit shorthanded. The next time I went in was today for a thermometer for my fish tank, and an employee who was available while the others were unloading a shipment bettas, lead to where I could find them. He was very pleasant and enjoyable to talk to. Ive also handled some of their rosy boas (they are so gorgeous!!!!) and I was very happy that the employee honestly admitted that the female was a bit nippy. I handled the male instead and was so happy that he didnt seem too nervous, just curious. Overall, its a fun place to go to and where I go when I have extra time in my day.

I visited this store because Greeley is a little bit closer to where I lived than Foco and I was in a bind for time. I cant say I was at all impressed with the shop. The store is unorganized, cluttered and dark. Its difficult to find what you need and the store reps arent handy to help you find things. I waited for 45 minutes at the front counter after asking three different guys for help without service. When I finally did get service, they didnt have the simplest thing for an aquarium (a bubble counter for CO2). The tanks for the fish are all very poorly lit. You arent able to see the colors of the fish or gauge how healthy they are. The prices on the freshwater fish are also overly hiked when there is a price on the tank at all. I dont know if this is because their fish are badly bred, sick, or if they are just being cheap. Regardless, I wouldnt buy any fish there. They also have no aquatic plants and have next to no selection when it comes to CO2 injector accessories. If anything, the reptiles seem well cared for at first glance. They all had wilted greens to eat and seemed lively. Reptiles might be the only thing I would ever buy from this shop. When it comes to buying fish and aquarium supplies, Ill be sticking to D&G Pets in Fort Collins. Their service is fantastic and their store is actually enjoyable to be in.

Got there and the man (blond short hair heavy set) acknowledged us. After being there 1 min. We hear this same guy yelling at a female employee. You could tell she was embarrassed. Next we hear a couple ask if a turtle is for sale and how much. The guy replied, "No." Then the couple said that there must be a price for the turtle and the guy says in a condescending voice, "Well if you had $700 and a permit I MIGHT consider selling it, but I double you have one." The couple obviously felt very offended and left almost immediately. Next it was our turn to be belittled. The guy asked what kind of aquarium set-up we had and when we replied he acted very disappointed. He then told us that except for goldfish every fish in his store required a heater to live. Next instead of asking us if we would like to purchase a heater he simply stared at us and waited for us to either get a gold fish or leave. #donotgotothispetshopEVER

I love Animal Attraction. The owner really cares about the health and safety of the animals at his store. Aaron and his employees pride themselves on providing the best possible care while also imparting that information onto their customers. They have an awesome selection of exotic reptiles and even the live feeders to keep them fat and happy. They have a vast selection of live corals, saltwater fish, freshwater tropical fish and even a few oddballs. Animal Attraction is fully stocked to set you up with the aquarium of your dreams and they will not leave you hanging when it comes to setting up and maintaining it properly. The awesome array of healthy pets and quality products are worth the visit, but its the friendly, helpful staff that will keep you coming back.

Ive been going to this shop for years, as a kid I had great experiences and this was where Id bought my first bearded dragon. However over the last few years their customer service has declined greatly in particular. Their selection on fish, reptiles and mammals is ok but not the greatest. But what had me most concerned were the care tips when I was asking about an animal they had in the store, which just drove home that with ANY exotic animal please talk to breeders and do TONS of research on the care of your chosen pet. Pet store employees are rarely experts on the specifics of exotic pet care, they just have a very basic over view.

As a long time reptile keeper, I have always felt Animal Attraction is one of, if not the, best exotic store in Northern Colorado. Over the years they have remained, while most of the other local exotics fizzled out. Not only are they very knowledgable about the fish, reptiles, and amphibians they sell, but they also frequently have species I havent seen elsewhere and committed to working with local breeders when able. Ive always received what Ive felt like is really great customer service and would highly recommend the store to anyone looking for an exotic pet, especially over any corporately run.

This store is really well kept. The employees are always really nice, and honor the return policy very well. I go there for fish, and they have a huge selection of salt and freshwater fish. Everyone is really nice and always willing to help quickly. I live in Denver, but go to college at UNCO. So I cant wait to go back to school so that I can visit this store again. The mom and pop stores in Denver are either filthy, or have terrible customer service.

Came in, was not acknowledged, stood at the counter, waited my turn. No one said "hello" or "can I help you?". Still waiting. Now its my turn in line. STILL NOTHING. So much nothing that someone assumed I was just standing around for my health? And cut right in front of me. And STILL no one says anything to me. Petsmart here I come! Unfortunate when you cant shop small because the small shops have ZERO customer service.

I could spend all day here. They have a variety of aquariums and supplies for everything aquarium. Aquarium animals from snakes, turtles, scorpions, tarantulas, lizards, and fish, both fresh water and saltwater and coral. Theyre a little high in prices, but overall a great experience and theyre very helpful and are guiding me on my very first saltwater ownership. I would give 5 stars if their price were more reasonable.

Someone falsely left a rating and a review under my name. I deleted it. I have had nothing but good experiences here. I get what I need everytime. If you have a snake and need feeders, you will not be shunned and made to sign any stupid a$$ forms. These guys and girls are good people. Pretty cool shop. Not many like this left. Lets keep em around and support them.
