Me and a friend went to this movie last night. We watched the 6:45 pm Conjuring movie. Before going in the movie i was going to buy a Vitamin water but changed my mind after i had already given the cashier my card because i THOUGHT i was making a purchase until i seen the price of 5.08. I almost walked off and forgot my card but she gave it to me. Anyways, after getting home and checking my account app i noticed that i was charged the 5.08 for the drink. So i called them today and someone named Heather, who turned out to be professional. Her initial statement was that she was going to watch the cameras and give me a call back. When she called back she asked me did i take anything else, which was odd if she had in fact watched the cameras. I informed her that i didnt. I actually changed my mind from the water to a fountain drink, which i changed my mind to nothing after all they had was 4 selections i didnt want. She then told me that she would have to wait until tomorrow to talk with who worked with me. And in turn i asked what all els e beside refund was she going to do for me when she found out i was wrongfully charged. She stated she would refund me then i asked my question again in which she stated , its just 5 dollars. I stated my words never cursed but stated you wouldnt let me slide with 5 missing off a ticket price so yes i want MY lil 5 dollars. i tried to make it short, but this is ridiculous. I will NEVER come back. And i use to always come as a child nd preteen. Never again

Went to see a late night movie with a friend. Parking was an absolute nightmare! People werent pulled into spots all the way, blocking the aisles so cars couldnt pass. People were even parking 3 in a row, meaning that some people were getting pinned with a car in front and behind them! Then there was the movie itself. It didnt start until 40 minutes after the scheduled time. During the wait, the screen was completely off. No previews or even advertisements! Our movie was in 3D too and the glasses didnt even work! (All we saw was a blurry picture with the glasses on). We complained twice to employees who only brushed us off. After 6 minutes into the movie, my friend and I, along with 2 families sitting nearby, ended up leaving the theater and demanding our money back. This was the absolute WORST AMC theater that Ive EVER been to! Never again will we be going here again!

We have been going to Valley View AMC movie theater for years. It is the last big entity still operating in a mall with limited access and no cooling. The movie theater seemed to still be able to provide a value in the midst of deconstruction. Last night in a packed house, half the theater had no A/C. The inside was over 90 degrees and you could not get a refund after you walked in. The management was informed and they pretended to go to the rooftop to adjust/fix the unit that was not working. It was the worst experience and destroyed the movie for us. This is a note to all that the movie theater will be shutdown soon and they are clearly not going to be putting new equipment when it will be torn down. So you get a low price to get in, overcharged on foodies and boil to death in theater in these summer nights.Your choice.

I been going to this theater for around 2 years at least and its a reason, I love it. It is probably the cheapest place to see new movies in Dallas and its not overcrowded most times and its a peaceful atmosphere more than other theaters. This may not be the best AMC theater but for me its my number one thanks to the prices and the area so they better not ever take away this place, I know valley view mall is not the mall it once was but maybe it could be again one day or because of this theater it can always keep it alive. I recommend this theater if you want to watch new movies and want to save money and also go somewhere peaceful, I go see movies here every month almost and it does not hurt my wallet.

Located on the third floor of an old shopping mall, where most of the shops have been converted into local art galleries. A Santas Village has taken up permanent residence two floors below. If you wander down one hallway, you will find a massive puppet of what looks like some kind of giant flower-man, dressed in black robes, with a creepy orange face. The theater itself offers current movies at half-price, costing only $5-6 compared to the usual $10-12 at other theaters. Matinees (shown before 4PM) are slightly cheaper. Concessions features the usual popcorn, candy, and soda fountains. The theater is accessible by stairs and an escalator; if there is an elevator, I have never seen anyone use it.

I like that this place has been a great spot to see a film on the cheap during the weekend, but I recently had an experience that really put me off. the individual at the ticket stand told me and my father the WRONG theatre number, so we sat through an hour of awful ads and missed most of the movie we went to see. My main grievance is with the amount of time AMC spends hawking garbage before a film. It may be a determining factor of whether I choose to go to the cinema at all in the future. I get that its a dying business in the states, but desperately clinging to ad space will kill it off in full. and I know this is a place thats about to close, but is that really an excuse for lazyness.

I dont know what happened to this place but Ive had to drop my star rating because its really gone downhill. They dont always have employees manning the entrance where you give them tickets anymore. The womens bathroom is now horrifying, at least half the toilets have waste in them and you can see urine on the floor. Ill let you imagine the smell. The quality of movies on the screen are all right but the sound is up way too loud. I get that the mall is under renovation and this is more of a cheap seat theater, but does that mean they should compromise on providing a good experience?

Almost got to see a movie at this cinema. Unfortunately, their current manager is an utter buffoon. The staff tried very hard to be accommodating, even though the manager never had the nerve to show up. He left an armored money vehicle waiting for over 15 minutes just for a fund delivery. The manager severely understaffs its facility. If you have the time to go to this cinema and wait for your movie to start, then I definitely recommend this place because of the price of tickets alone, but the manager made it such an overwhelmingly negative experience.
