Historical landmark home of Italian Immigrant, Antonio Meucci, his seamstress wife Esterre and his house-guest, Italian General Giuseppe Garibaldi. In this home, moved from the Clifton section to present day Rosebank, Meucci utilized his invention of the telephone while Alexander Graham Bell was still a young boy. A visit to the house will educate you about Meuccis inventions, trials and tribulations and a close up view of the bedroom where Giuseppe Garibaldi slept while he lived with the couple during his time in Staten Island, New York.

This is a very interesting little museum about the real person who invented the telephone and the son of the Italian revolution.
