Just went to see the Revenant tonight Feb 4th 2016 in theater #9 with my family of 4. As soon as the movie started, I noticed a squealing noise coming from somewhere. I hoped it was something that would stop but after 20 minutes, since there were only about 20 people in the theater, I moved around to see if I could figure out where it was coming from. It was tough to pinpoint so I had to leave the theater (which I never do in a movie) to alert the staff. After 20 more minutes with no change, I called the theater from the movie to again report the issue. After a while, they showed up for about a minute to listen then left. The squealing noise continued to the end of the movie! After the movie I asked to speak to the manager who ended up being the 1st person I spoke to and one of the people who came in to listen. I learned his name was Chris. No last name was given. All Chris would say was "yeah bud, Im really sorry, were looking into it..." At $10.92 + $0.83 tax per ticket x 4 and way too expensive popcorn and drinks, I would expect to not have to listen to squealing throughout a movie. The reason you go to the theater is for a big screen experience with exceptional sound. Next time Ill wait until its out of the theater and watch it in the media room, which doesnt squeal... Sorry Stonebriar AMC. I doubt youll see me again.

This theater is horrible. I havnt been to AMC in years. And i instantly remember why. Start from the beginning: 1)Although you can buy tickets online, u still have to visit the kiosk, unlike Cinemark. 2)the service at the bar was horrible and i didnt realize you could screw up a crown and coke!!! Also overpriced 3) we arrived 45mins early since we ended dinner early. 30 minutes in sitting at the bar, we head into the theater and were booted because they were still "cleaning" it. So then, we get escorted (like 20 ppl total) back to the front of the theater where we had to get to the back of the line. SERIOUSLY?? WE ARRIVED EARLY TO GET THIS TREATMENT??? 4)heres the funny part. Finally get into the theater and Im seeing popcorn all over, the floor is sticky, and the seats are disgusting. All stained, cloth seats. And they seem close together too (im tall). The screen doesnt seem bad, but equal to a dollar theater, and not worth the price of my ticket. All-in-all, horrible experience and i wouldnt recommend to ANYONE. This wasnt my first bad experience with AMC, but it will be my last.

Went last night with my boyfriend to see "Lights Out", the movie itself was great. what was NOT great were all the annoying kids in there, phones out and flashes on the ENTIRE MOVIE. I had to personally ask people to put their phones away, people were adding their own commentary trying to be funny, and I even had to ask an employee who was standing there to tell people to put their phones up or I would start doing it, which is what inevitably happened. Talked to management afterwards and got free tickets, honestly will never be coming back to this location. I get it, its a mall and there are kids and it was PG 13, but back when I came here in high school their staff was on top of it and were escorting people out constantly for being obnoxious. Must be new management or something because this has gone down hill. There is no reason 5 people should have their phones out, flashes on and people talking full volume the WHOLE movie.

The lobby looked like a crack den by the recession area. I actually saw a cabinet door fall off the butter area table onto someones foot (as I was making the crack den comment, coincidentally enough). The womens bathroom only had half of the stalls working after someone who clearly had never seen the wonder of indoor plumbing before panicked and shoved every paper product known to man down in them. I dont know how long they had been like that, but I peed at the beginning of a Tarantino movie and then again at the end and they were the same, so easily 12 hours. Everything was gross. Let me put it this way: if offered a night to sleep on the ground of one of those theaters, or to sleep outside naked in Maryland in February, Id take the latter. Think thats the last time well be braving that theater until we get our tetanus shots up to date.

I avoid this place as much as I can. There is no crowd control in the theaters. Basically, rowdy teenagers come in and talk and use their phones throughout the movie and nothing is really done about it. One particular experience had me calling to report such a terrible experience in a horror film where obnoxious teenagers would keep coming in and out and making smartass noises and comments, completely killing the vibe of the film. It got so bad, I literally had to go up to a group and tell them to shut up. It was a 10 pm show so when I went out to report it, no manager was anywhere to be found. I called the next day to report my experience and the manager litterally told me this... "We just get so many teenagers coming to the movies here that we really cant control them." I vowed to never go here again.

This place would be a lot better if they didnt have 30.06 signs that keep out licensed holders. With all the crazy stuff going on in the world, its just irresponsible to not allow the staff and customers who have gone through the licensing process to carry. Also, they no longer give free refills on large popcorn and the bar is extremely expensive. If this place wants more business, they really need to rethink their concealed carry policies and get rid of the membership that allows you to get refills on popcorn. I spent $40 just so my wife and I could have 2 drinks and 1 large popcorn. Do they really think the average person is going to pay even more for the occasional times that they go to the movies and want a refill?!

Nice theater, the only problem I have is when a new movie Comes out and they make you stand in a certain place or in a certain line. You always have dome peoe that wait around and as soon as they open the doors to let you in, they do not watch there are propel that just pay and walk right in. While others have been waiting in line for 30 minutes to an hour or more. Do I would say the people that are working should watch and they people that break in line should be sent to the back if the line. This happens a lot because the people that work there do not watch the people that have been standing in line. They just open the doors and walk away. I think this is wrong.

We went for an opening day show and booked tickets online a couple of hours before the start of the show . When we went there during show time the entire theatre was completely occupied ( with people blocking their seats as well ) and we couldnt get a single seat even in the very first row near the screen . Why is the system allowing us to book the ticket online if there are no seats ? Is there no sense to book in advance ? we spoke to the supervisor and he did agree that the show was " over booked ". He didnt sound very apologetic and just refunded the tickets . It was definitely a very disappointing experience and played a spoiler on a Friday evening !
