I take my kids to the movies from time to time, especially when I find a good deal for tickets through Groupon or other discounts. We went to see Finding Dory last night and I cant tell you how disappointed I am with the entire experience. My first impression (which is the same as last time) the theater itself is filthy and the smell coming out of the restrooms literally made me gag and my 10 year son covered his nose. The entire theater needs to be thoroughly cleaned. The worst part of the experience was the Fire Alarms and sirens went off 10 minutes into the movie. It was the most startling thing and of course no one knew what to do. Given all the recent horrific events in our society- FIRE was the LEAST of my concerns. I jumped up with a death grip on my child and carefully headed to the exit door in the parking lot. After waiting a few minutes, I decided to follow the crowd around to the front of the theater. WHERE WAS MANAGEMENT? No directions, no one leading an announcement to communicate- Do we come back in? Go home? Is there DANGER? Just confused teens and a security guard with no guidance? Once I assessed - someone "overheard a fire alarm was pulled in the mens bathroom" we proceeded back but need some water- After standing in line for over 15 minutes and paid $5. 79 for ONE bottle of water, we saw Dory! Not impressed nor were my kids- they wanted to leave early! Lots of other things to spend my time and money on with my family time- and this is not one of them! Mt. Juliet- You can do better! Kind regards, Sarah Dunphy

Edit: I am addi g this to my review as of July 2016. Apparently firearms are no longer allowed in this theater to include conceal carry permit holders. Their magical sign will keep everyone safe from a crazy person with a grudge. Its nice to see a theater has found one of these mythical anti wack job signs that keeps us safe. This amendment to the theaters business practice will be the last straw in where my family and friends will do business. I should say up front we go to this theater from time to time due to it being close. It is better then the Lebanon theater. . . . ish. We have been going the Mt Juliet for years. Almost every time we regret is. Then we forget and go back a few months later. We are fairly sure their secret mop bucket ingredient is pee. Bathroom are always awful. Now for the screen. They are rarely in focus (I have perfect vision fyi) and the projectors motion blur. The house lights usually get left on and wash the screen out. The screen is usually spotted and has noticeable blemishes. The whole place feels like they know most of us are busy and dont have time to drive to Nashville, so here is a screen and have at it.

So I dont go to the movies often do to prices...however, I took my daughter to see a movie Friday night at 7pm and the bathrooms were horrible ! I just told myself its Friday they have been busy Im sure they will get to it sooner or later...well because of weather we decided to go see a movie at 4:55pm on Saturday and the same things I saw in those bathrooms the night before were still there! The floors in the hall ways of the theater were full of crushed popcorn the counters where you get your popcorn were filthy. I understand being busy but being lazy when you are getting paid and Im spending my hard earned money is two different things. I would love to know what this place looks like a night when everyone has gone home?! I know if I was to leave my job in a mess my boss would tell me to just forget about my job! Sure there are highschool kids working but they are being "supervised" by adults. I could go on and on in how disappointed I am but its clear people dont really care around this establishment.

Like many of the others commenting here, the prices are way out of control. Their so-called matinee price is still higher than the regular prices at theaters north in Kentucky and south in Huntsville. The bathrooms had trash all over them. The one thing I hate the most about this place is the ticket line. I have never walked up and there be more than one agent when they have at least four windows. I guess they like to give you the Wal-Mart experience. I have found the only way to buy tickets is online but then I have to pay their service fee to do that. So my choice is to get poor customer service and a long line to get tickets at a higher price or buy from the convenience of my own home so they dont have any labor costs and pay even a higher price. Does not make sense. Maybe I will try their cold popcorn that I have heard so much about.

Like, whoa: Expensive! Decent location, clean, safe, staffed appropriately, not long waits unless its a huge premiere week, but dang: the prices! I know everyone wants to complain about movie theater ticket prices on the rise. But my wife and I went to an AMC, and NICE AMC in a much bigger market than suburban Nashville on vacation not long ago. We paid roughly the same for our tickets there, but were treated to HUGE reclining lazy-boy style seats, and an IMAX sized screen in addition to Dolby Atmos surround. It was hands-down the best experience weve had in any movie theater ever. Is this rinky-dink theater worth $13.50 a ticket for your basic, NON-3D seats, and non-premium experience? I think not. But we have no other choice close, so it looks like well be frequenting Regal MJ anyway.

the place is always understaffed, the concessions line is absolutely horrible. the prices. roughly $23 per person for each ticket. smallest drink and smallest popcorn, absolutely terrible experience, and will not be returning in any way shape or form, given that opry mills is just a little bit down the road, and has better theaters that are clean, and adequately staffed. save your money, and just go see that movie elsewhere, literally anywhere is better that this Mt Juliet establishment. Also the no weapons policy is absolutely laughable, because it seriously only affects us that are law abiding, and just carrying for our own self defense, and our families, one more of the numerous above reasons, why i wont be returning, the owners ought to be ashamed of themselves.

I recently attended a late night showing of Batman v. Superman. I must say that I was shocked at the price of a ticket, popcorn and a drink. I will not be returning anytime soon because of the price increases. I can wait for the release at Redbox where it is considerable cheaper and I can make my own popcorn and drink for far less that what I paid there. It is my understanding that the vast majority of the money goes to Hollywood and the theater makes their money from the sale of popcorn, drinks, ect. I see a future coming where the cost eventually will put them out of business because of the outrageous prices.

Typically a decent experience, prices for this theater are out of control for the services provided. When we do go here and want popcorn or drinks its typically a 15 minute wait in line, meanwhile theres a ton of registers not open. If this place wants to charge a premium for tickets and food the staffing should be increased to allow for a faster, more personal experience. Ill chime in on the bathrooms, those are typically clean and stocked, theaters are always clean, lots of squeaky seats that could use a quick Vlad of wd40 but overall but not bad. Just fix the customer service/speed or lower prices.
