My husband and I got married and had our reception here and could not have been happier with our experience! I am not the traditional bride who had her wedding details decided long ago, managing 6 pinterest boards of event must-haves that would certainly equate the perfect day. However, I did not need ANY of this having chosen Long Hollow Gardens! The venue itself provides such beauty and warmth that extravagant flower arrangements were unnecessary and little thought had to be put into setting up this exquisite and breathtaking venue. We were allowed to utilize any of the decor and products from the garden and store which set our event off as ideally as if I had been tirelessly planning for years. The Scotts, who own the venue, are the most caring and accommodating people. They were extraordinarily helpful and kind. Having these two on your side would have been worth the rental fee within itself. However, the garden is absolutely magical, and I would have been remiss to have chosen to be wed anywhere else. Truly. This space is that wonderful. I wish I could relive it all. From the string lights to the fully restored late 1800s house to the meadow, this is what dreams are made of.

Long Hollow Nursery has been a real find for my wife and I. We were on our way down to McMinnville a few months ago to buy about a dozen Arborvitae’s when we got a tip to try out Long Hollow instead. We are so glad we did! They have great prices, great service, great selection, and it’s honestly enjoyable to just take a stroll through the place. Everything is laid out so nicely, including their main building which they said they may soon be renting out for weddings. We really appreciate Amy and Hartley for their knowledge and patience, and for making sure we were happy every step of the way. We ended up buying over a dozen Arborvitaes along with several other large trees as well as a number of small plants and shrubs. Long Hollow sent crews out to install some of those plants on two different occasions for us, and we were even impressed with the quality of the installation. They made sure everything was right and even cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. All in all, we always expect to have a great experience at Long Hollow Nursery and they never disappoint.

First let me say that the place is beautifully organized and the plants seem to be very healthy and well taken care of. Unfortunately I, as a customer, did not feel taken care of. The representative seemed nice enough but didnt seem to think he had time for me. I was just told "Over there" and "Prices are on them". There was no help or anything and I felt rushed. Anyway, I walked over to the trees that I was interested in and many of them actually had no prices on them--especially the big trees. I couldnt find it anywhere. Instead of asking for help again (I was also rushed off the phone a day or two ago), I simply left. I went to another nursery instead and received very good customer service and purchased quite a few large trees and shrubs from them. Seems like a lost source of revenue for Long Hollow Gardens & Nursery. Take better care of your customers and theyll spend money there and be happy to return. Looks like the only thing Ill return for is bags of mulch. I really want to like this place, but it left a sour taste. :(

If you want horticultural advice from a horticulturist, youre in the right place! If you want design advice from a licenced landscape architect, youre in the right place! These people are experts. This is not a run-in, run-out, grab-n-go box store experience where the workers dont care about anything but their next smoke break. These people actually care and take the time to teach their customers how to select and care for plants. Sometimes that means waiting a little bit for your turn, but its well worth it!

Hartley and his team are the classiest act anywhere. First, the selection is unrivaled in Middle Tennessee. Second, their prices are at virtually direct grower discounts. Most importantly, the service and care they give to their customers goes way beyond the normal expectations. When you call, visit or work with them, they truly make you feel like a dear family member. This is the kind of business we need to survive and THRIVE in our area. Extra bonus: Theres a great playground for the kiddos!

Very beautiful place and friendly staff. They had a wide variety of everything as soon as I walked in. Went to ask around for my college stewardship project to plant trees in the community. Long Hollow Nursery was the first and only who were willing and friendly to donate a large amount of trees for my group to plant. Great place and people.
