The Franklin Theater is really wonderful facility for a large variety of events. Its obvious how delightful, the state-of-art Franklin Theater really is. The acoustics could not be any better. Everytime we want tickets to an event at the theater, weve learned to buy our tickets early, otherwise theyre sold out in no time at all. Last night we saw, "Gary Morris" in concert. Wow, what a performance he delivered! 1-1/2 hours of non-stop entertainment. He sang most all of his top hits. If he was playing next week, we would go listen to him again.

I attended the Valentines Day showing of Dirty Dancing presented by the movie gang and it was AWESOME! Great view from our seats which were in the balcony, but it was very clean and beautiful inside the facilities. There was a live dance performance, Valentines and roses handed out, as well as heart shaped balloons dropped from the balcony during the dance performance. Great job Franklin theater on partnering with so many other awesome local vendors to put on such a great event. Ill definitely be back!

I love this theatre! When they show films its setup as a throwback to a time before stadium seating. I also love the theatre groups that perform shows. Ive seen 4 or 5, some from childrens theatre groups and some from adult groups, and its always an enjoyable experience. Also if you like beer Black Abbey has a few selections there. You must try "The 44" (previously called the POTUS 44). Hawaiian and Kenyan coffee infused stout, amazing flavour!

This was by far the highlight of my husband and Is trip. The staff was great and helpful and the events they put on are so intriguing and like no where else. We had the honor of goimg to see jurassic park where they had live animals, an actual paleontoligst and a cute lab set up for kids. I wish we had something like this in florida. This is a wonderful place, I hope you support them with your patronage! Money and time well spent!

The Franklin Theater is a wonderful venue. Enjoy a glass of wine or a beer during the show, and there are all kinds of events held there, everything from classic movies to concerts. The theater first opened in 1937 and recently re-opened after a MAJOR renovation, which was incredibly well done. Whatever you go to see there, you will enjoy it.

Old school theatre with some modern updates. Intimate Id say. Not too big, not too small. Lots of legroom in the regular seats. Cocktails / liquor available. Prices are reasonable for a place like this. Probably on par with most bars. I didnt see the balcony but I would say theres not a bad seat in the house, at least on the main floor.

What a wonderful little quaint movie theater in one of the best little downtowns ever. The theater has recently been renovated and sports a brand new theater Marquee outside. Everything inside is extremely nice and they have a wonderful staff. I have been here many times and would highly recommend it.

I dont care what you go here for, it is always a great experience. The remodel is fabulous. Always great employees. Love having the option of having a glass of beer or wine during a show or movie. They also have pizza, popcorn and snacks. The seats are great and all views good.

This place is great. When I was a little kid, they had free movie Wednesdays during the summer that I would love. When they did the renovations and restored the theater they really made it into the awesome thing that it was! Altogether it is a very awesome theater!

Local, intimate theater group putting on productions of modern Broadway plays and musicals. They are very active in the community, and often work with aspiring young actors. Super fun, go have dinner at Red Pony before the show. Leave time for parking.

Great place to catch a movie or concert. It has the classic movie theater feel, and it doesnt break the bank to take a family to see a movie. When the restoration was done in 2010/2011, they did a great job.
