So I have lived in Michigan city since 2007 and I can definitely say that when Kerasotes owned the theatre it was much better. Or at least it was always clean. But AMC the bathrooms are always dirty stalls whether it be TP on the floor or plugged in the toilet or sinks, female products used and unused on floors or on toilets, or feces smeared on the seat! Ugh its so revolting that even after drinking the large soda you will hold it in! Dont forget about the pricey concessions and snobby staff. Seriously its like $10 for a coke and popcorn and about the same price per person for tickets. Whatever happen to dunes theatre prices????!!!! Now those prices were nice. Hopefully someday it will come back. If you go to AMC dont forget your hand sanitizer and prepare to spend at least 50 if youre bringing the kids with.

Its a good theater for something around the area and u dont have to travel far. The price is high but its pretty much the same as anywhere Ive been so 4 me thats not an issue. Ive never had any bad luck with food or snacks tasting bad. But wow! I dont think customer service is very good. I think they could be more helpful with handicap customers for one thing. I personally like to be greeted, be told to enjoy movies, have a good day or night, thanks for coming, etc. More interactions. And waiting for food, snacks, and drinks is horrible!

Been there several times, nice place, clean as can be expected by night time. I have run a theatre before, so I do understand. Concessions a little high, but that is where the theatre makes its money. And, these folks are staying open half the night for the fun of it. lol Movies cost are high, and as fast as this theatre gets them they must be truly expensive. Never heard the other movies thru the walls and always been a pleasant experience for me.

Staff was kind when we entered if you join the membership it cuts the price of the tickets down to $5 a piece, didnt buy food or drink because of how expensive it was. Unfortunately the movie was ruined by a group talking loudly throughout the entire movie (thats not the companies fault though). They close depending on the last showing which is usually 8pm, too early for a movie theater in my opinion.

Ive never had sound from other theaters drown out my movie, I love the popcorn there, the bathrooms can be dirty sometimes. Also it is a little more of a wait for concessions then Id like to wait. But everyone else was right with the price thing. The prices here are insane! Seriously youd get a lot more customers if you charged a reasonable price.

Prices too high for area AMC in South Bend is cheaper and just as nice. Senior prices are $9 which is pretty steep for people living is SS. You cant afford concessions paying that just to get in. No wonder the world is waiting till the movies come out on video. You can own it for less than two people can go to see it once.

how can michigan city14 theater charge $14.49 for a bag of popcorn and a drink and then not give any refills on the popcorn. My wife and 2 of her friends went on Aug 31 at 3:40 and they said there was hardly anyone there, and that they would never go again. Its a shame the theater gouges their customers like that!

Horrible staff. Kicked me and 4 others out for no reason 6 minutes after the movie started. One staff member cussed at me and my 4 friends and slammed the door in our faces for no apparent reason. Never got my 80$ back. Never getting my business again at any theaters. Do NOT recommend.

Had a good time watching Wonder Woman here, but my legs were absolutely numb and knees sore afterwards. The chairs are not meant to be sat on for an hour at a time, which is kind of a necessity for a decent movie theater. Would need to bring my own foot rest next time...

$47 dollar popcorn is pretty much par for the course, so I wont dwell on that....Friendly, helpful staff, clean, seating is ok. Id like to see more limited engagement/special showings. The rewards card membership is worthwhile if you go more than once, or twice a year.

Terrible!!! Sounds from other theaters drown out the one you are watching, price is too high and popcorn is only for the wealthy or those who think they are.. Better to drive to Niles, Michigan @ wonderland... Its worth the extra drive not to go to A M C ....

Though I have never and will never be a fan of Michigan City, this theatre is so clean and nice that I find it is worth the drive. Staff are polite and helpful. Theatres are clean and the lobby is well lit. Will continue to frequent this establishment.

Its a good place to watch a movie and has a good sound system, but those popcorn prices are crazy. I feel sorry for the people dating that have to buy their dates a $30-$40 dinner, then $20 for movie tickets, and another $20 for popcorn and drinks.

Nobody ever answers the phone, staff in customer service booth is always rude when trying to ask a question. There movies never start before 2 pm which is crazy when other theaters have movies starting at 10 am. Really wish theyd list their hours.

The place itself is fine but the corporate company is full of a bunch of thieves. $18.?? for 2 adults during a matinee show for cripes sake...its highway robbery. No wonder I seldom go to the theatre anymore, you bunch of crooks.

Lots of screens. Good surround sound. Good 3D experience. I recommend Stubs Rewards if you see 4 or more movies a year. You get $10 credit for every $100 spent including concessions and free upgrades at concession stand.

There are many seniors and some handicapped patrons that attend this theatre and the hallway between theaters are just so long, it would be nice is there were some benches between the showing screens down that long hall.;

Very expensive, we left before we could even watch the movie because the people would not sell us tickets to a Rated R movie, even with an adult over the age of 21 buying them. Completely ridiculous, not worth going.

Just because it is the middle of the afternoon doesnt mean you dont need to have staff on hand. And what is up with the theaters been so freaking hot. Turn the air on already.

Clean, beautiful, loads of food options, comfortable. Sadly overpriced food, 22.00 for a large soda and a small popcorn and kids pack. While paying 18 for the tickets. Ouch.
