Russells is a great one stop shop for all your autumn family fun. They have apple picking, cider pressing, apple cider doughnuts, wine, petting zoo and much more. The cider is the best on the North Shore along with the cider doughnuts, you cannot walk into the barn without being drawn to that section. Their farm made wine is delicious, along with their hard cider that I recommend. They do have a very nice variety of apples and also have other types of fruit picking through the year (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries etc.) They do have ample parking but on those nice autumn weekends, be prepared for this place to be packed. I was going to give them 5 stars, and I still really do, but after reading providingfeedbacks review, I actually do remember seeing this sign and agree 100% with this reviewer. A sign threatening your patrons in such a family atmosphere is uncalled for. Everyone has been apple picking as a kid and everyone knows that half the fun is enjoying an apple why you are picking others.

Great family place with farm animals, large shop with variety of autumn foods and goods, huge orchard and even wine! It understandably gets a bit crowded but only shows how popular and great it is. Apples were delicious and still had a decent amount left in mid October. To the guy that rated one star because there is a supposed sign that threatens fine for eating any before leaving the orchard, I didnt see it and just about everyone was sampling the fruit..

Your typical farm with a farm store, with cider donuts, ice cream, fresh fruit and vegetables. There was you-pick blueberries and blackberries when we were very there, which looked popular, but we didnt do it. We just made a quick stop to get some fresh fruit and ice cream. You can sit at the table near a pond and watch ducks and swans swimming in the pond. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area

Apple cider donuts, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and pies to die for! This farm stand is open seasonally with apple picking in the fall. Bring your kids to look at the farm animals and soak up the good weather either on the way to or leaving Crane Beach which is only a short drive up the road. Be sure to preorder the homemade desserts for Thanksgiving, Im asked to buy them for my family every year.

Nice stop on the way from the beach. But they have closed their indoor restrooms to their customers and point them to Porta-Potties instead, which are not maintained and lack hand washing facilities. This is disgusting and cheap choice for a place that serves lots of (overpriced) food to lots of people.

Great experience! Lots of apples to pick and the cider donuts are made hot and fresh right there. Also lots of jams and locally made foods and honey etc. Russell also has their own winery. The wine seemed a bit expensive. The experience as a whole is well worth it. Even some animals to look at too.

Apples, farm animals and donuts in a beautiful setting. Employees do an excellent job of managing the crowds during the busy season. Be prepared to wait over 30 minutes for cider donuts. Lots of interesting apple varietals. Nice visit in the off season also.

Its a great local farm/orchard with animals and a rolling selection of fruit to pick. There are gifts, ice cream and their own label fruit wine in the barn-- including some exotic kinds like dandelion! Lots of fun in a very scenic area.

I love the scenery, farm animals, and the apple picking! The only sad thing is that the food you can buy there isnt very good. I would highly suggest going there on a fall day, petting animals and picking apples in the Groves.

Ive been to many orchards around the Boston area and its clear to me by now that Russells is my favorite. Its huge, it carries everything and its extremely clean and organised. Ive been here many times, it never disappoints!

Stop in on your way to Crane beach or after. Cider, homemade icecream, cider doughnuts, and fresh fruits and veggies. Ive been going there since it was Goodales and its very much the same. Lots of good memories.

A little pricey but what got me was no free samples of the apple cidar. Im very picky about my cidar & wont buy without testing it. Cute place with lots of small gifts to bring for others.

My favorite North Shore farm! Bring the Family, try the cider donuts and local wine. Go Apple picking and show your kids the animals. This place does it right. A Must-See in Ipswich!!

Faux farm. Plus, the sign on the way into apple picking threatens you with a fine and being kicked out if you eat an apple before you leave. Try explaining that to a six year old.

Russell Orchards is a great weekend activity. The berry picking is amazing (such plump, ripe berries), and the selection of both fruit and store-sold products is fantastic.

Go to Crane Beach super-early and then come here afterward. Jesus Christ, the apple cider donuts... my partner and I will split an entire dozen on the ride home...

Cute! Slightly overcrowded and overpriced in the season, but what else can you expect from an apple orchard in fall? Great cider doughnuts.
