I purchased my tickets online but no one was even checking us at the door so we had no idea what theater our movie was playing in. After walking the halls (and seeing only one staff member at concessions who was around 13 years old it seemed) we found our theater. Arriving 10 minutes before the start, the floors were still sticky, riddled with popcorn bags and soda cups. The arm rests homed empty bags of candies in the drink holder. 5 minutes before the show as everyone is settled into the filth to watch the movie, two employees burst in with lights on to clean the room after the arrogant one blurted that they would be done in a few minutes. During the movie, our theater had a visit from the police department once which interupted the movie and a staff member who walked across the movie screen TWICE with a red lit flashlight. For almost $12 a person, dirty ass floors, no staff and the interuptions...this was probably by far the worst movie going experience I have ever had. I will in the future be driving the extra miles to frequent Ayrsley from now on after this. Heres a tip for Management. Fire the kids, hire people with work ethic and customer service skills. Keep your place staffed, clean and courteous. Thats not much to ask. If not, you will run such a nice theatre into looking like Carmike. Tip for corporate...fire your current Management. The problem begins there.

Just stood in line for 15 min to see Star Wars at 10:00am. The time was still up on the board and when I heard everyone ahead of us seeing 3D I was glad b/c I wanted to see the regular showing. When we got up there they were sold out. There was only one girl selling tickets when the should have had a minimum of two. This Regal theater is one of the more expensive theaters and not worth it. The one I usually go to is in Simpsonville, SC not far from Greenville, it is cheaper, cleaner, nicer plus it has a bar even though I have never bought anything from it. Last time I went to this theater with my wife a month or so back the girl beside us complained about the noise of kids in the theater after they had sat through the whole movie and the kids were closer to me and my wife, I listened to her complained to the manager as I was waiting for my wife and he gave the girl 4 free tickets to come back b/c of it. We were in a hurry and had to leave but I saw him hand them to her. That was for the Hunger Game movie. I am done with this theater..

Not as good as it once was. The pricing is outrageous considering the amenities and reward programs of the AMC up the road in Pineville. Seats are uncomfortable, basically like sitting straight up on a park bench at Manchester Meadows. Reclining chairs like AMC would go a long way in bringing me back as I currently drive about 15 miles north for a more comfortable experience. Concessions are standard price for your average theater, nothing overly special on the menu. Lines, lines everywhere. Wether you are buying a ticket, having your ticket stub ripped, or waiting for a popcorn you have to wait. Consistently understaffed, if you think you will be late for the movie, Manchester will make sure you are. The aesthetics of this building leaves more to be desired as it looks like someone started painting blue paint everywhere about 4 years ago, and never finished. The MANCHESTER CINEMAS logo on the side of building never works properly.

Manchester is a nice theater and staff members are always happy to help assist patrons if there are issues. However, it feels like ticket prices are going up for nothing. Almost $13 for one adult ticket in Rock Hill? This is not Charlotte, why are prices climbing? I wish Regal would allow this theater to use some of that revenue to begin renovations because neither the decor or seating has changed in at least 10 years. Competing theaters are installing recliner style seats and automated ticket kiosks to cut down on long lines. I would love to see these items at Manchester! I feel like this community deserves a nice place to see a movie and feel the prices they pay are worth it.

Concessions took forever and were extremely overpriced, even for a movie theatre. 5.79 for a bottled water. Got popcorn, girl was great, did butter halfway through, overloaded the bucket, no complaints there. Get to our seats, worst popcorn ever! No salt at all. No wonder they are selling "flavoring." One more thing to make you buy. If you pay $9 for popcorn, it should be edible without purchasing something else. Literally ate the top layer and couldnt stomach any more even though I was actively hungry. Other movie theatres sell cheaper concessions with FREE flavoring and let you butter to your hearts content. We wont be buying concessions here anymore.

if you look at all the comments that regal cinemas makes theyre all the same answer, so that tell you right there that the owner of this place doesnt give one bit about the customers. Waited in line for over 20 minutes and when we finally got there they wouldnt expect my gift card, they said i had to buy tickets on line.... stupid!! The concession stand had a ridiculous line also. Almost $70 dollars later for a family of four to go to the movies and get a snack is extremely ridiculous. VERY DISAPPOINTING, i strongly recommend renting a movie and watching it a home.

Not sure whos running the place because there wasnt a single soul to be found as far as management or supervision in the theatre during our movie. There was not more than 5 seconds (literally) where there was quiet. People were lined up sitting on the stairs going back and forth between movies (as one of them said who was sitting in the isle next to us). When we called the cinema after the movie there wasnt an option to speak to anyone. GO TO ANY OTHER THEATRE, because you wont enjoy a single second of this one.

Seats are small....and I mean small as in if you are above 200lbs you might feel squished. The armrests move but that doesnt really make it any better. Popcorn was not salted very well either. They need to update the way they do concessions....other theaters have someone prepping the orders while the other person is taking the orders and payment. This seems to move things along better. No issues with the movie itself, sound and picture quality were great.

Ive loved this theater since the prices were $8 a person. The staff is ultra friendly and the rooms themselves are spacious. I always sit in the middle-ish area. To all of those who are complaining about the prices, they wont go down. Thats not the cinemas job, its corporate, but heres a simple lesson, if you cant afford to go to the movies, then dont go until you have the money. Other than that, I love this place.

We go to Ayrsley in Charlotte for almost all our movies. (and we live in Rock Hill). The reason, $5 Matinees. I think Manchester is $9 now or close to it. They are the only game in town so they can charge these prices. We NEVER see movie there in prime time with a family of 5. The theater itself is fine, but the prices have always been so much higher. Well drive 20 minutes to Ayrsley and save lots of $.
