Well after arriving at the course, we thought today was going to be a good day. The course looked good online and they said theyre greens were running great. Unfortunately this was not the case at all. First off, the cart they set us up with had a max speed of maybe 7 mph and wanted no part of hills. We headed over to the putting green and the entire thing was sand. I was drilling five footers and watching them bump and bounce the entire way. The greens were the same way out on the course. I think I might have had more luck rollings 5 snake eyes before I would hit a putt they stayed on the ground. Terrible condition. The fairways for the most part werent THAT bad, but it was no reward for hitting a good shot off the tee. The entire first fairway was covered in some time of mulch or god knows what, but either way the kicker had to be after the rain set in. After playing 2 holes dry, 3 holes wet, we decided to turn in. Unfortunately, they do not offer rainchecks after you have played 4 holes, not even for the back nine. I wouldnt go back to this course if they paid me to play the last 13 holes, and I dont suggest anybody start.

I played here for the first time this weekend and the staff was very friendly. The downfall was the course was very dry and needed to be watered a little more often. Also on the first hole I noticed that the green was slower than any green Ive ever played on, I didnt think anything of it but then the other 17 greens were exactly the same. So the greens need to be mowed more often also. Overall I had fun but they need to think about not drying out the grass and cutting the greens more often.

I play here about 3-5 times a month. The greens are firm but roll very true. I have played most of the clubs around the Columbia area and choose to play here the most. The layout is pretty straight forward and there is not too much trouble if you have an wayward drive here and there. For as low as $25 during the week you really cant find a better place to place. They work hard on keeping the greens true and I would recommend this course to anyone.

I usually play as a single and they had me on the first tee within the hour paired up with a great Veteran Memorial Day weekend. The course was in great shape, even with airiated greens, were pretty fast. The people who worked there were very friendly and pace of play was great.the green fees were low and I will play this course again next time I come back to the Capitol

Played it last 2 years on our annual treck to myrtle beach both on the way there and back,great value good test lots of work going on but did not diminish our pleasure one bit.Will play it again next month call in and make your own mind up we have tried others in the area but always retun here,think that says it all

Would not recommend this course to anyone. Tee times dont mean anything. Tried to contact management to talk about the issue I had and never received a call back. I guess they arent concerned about losing customers. Paid for a loyalty card but wont be using it any more.

I recently moved from the North and was having a hard time finding a course with really nice fairways and greens. This course is it! I love the rolling terrain and the course is really well kept. It is the best value I have found by far. Would highly recommend.

Very well maintained golf course! The club house is very nice too! Ive played there twice thus far and both experiences have been great....despite the rain on one of those days... :-)

Nice old course. Greens and fairways were perfect. The $25 green fee was very reasonable. The concrete cart paths were in disrepair, but was a minor inconvenience.

Well maintained green and fairway. You will enjoy this course if you are a long hitter. The fairway is pretty wide.

Great course. Very straight layout but very undulating fairways. Most greens are elevated which adds some difficulty.
