Came here during happy hour on a Monday. They were out of 3 things on the menu including all their draft beers. We got simple drinks and fish tacos. There were only 4 other tables there, and two servers on duty spent way more time chatting with the bartender than checking on their tables. No joke we waited 45 mins for our fish tacos, only to the have the waiter finally come back and ask us if we were ready to leave...yep he forgot to put our order in. Mistakes happen, I get that. But instead of checking on us regularly so he couldve figured it out earlier and instead of apologizing, he tried playing it off like, "oh yeahhhhh, should be out in a few mins!" And seriously looked at the menu in front of us to remember what we ordered. So over an hour later we finally get a pretty pathetic fish taco. The menu says tacos - but it was one large (you needed a fork and knife to cut the huge deep fried "fish") taco that was also supposed to come with pico de Gallo on top but was sooooo dry! We took two bites and decided to just leave. Even though my bf looked the waiter in the eyes and waved, he walked right past us...so after we realized he wasnt coming back, we had to follow him up to the bartender where he was just chatting, and ask to pay our bill. The whole experience was bizarre and we will never come back.

We often go to this restaurant to eat when we are in Seaside Oregon. Yes the prices are spendy but the view is always amazing. We will enjoy a drink and people watch them usually order our meal. We brought the boys with us this time and were very disappointed. Let me just state that I am a bartender and server and I know the difference between having a bad night and being a horrible server ... Lauren is a horrible server ... she took our drink order and that went ok then we ordered chowder and it never arrived ... I had to get my own water and refill everyones at our table the prices are expensive for mediocre food at best ... we were ignored the entire evening until we asked for our check then she was Johnny in the spot wit that ! I can honestly say that being in the industry that I have never tipped less than twenty percent on any check regardless of the service ... well last night I tipped $5 on a 115$ check due to the service. Shortly after we left my sons friend got very sick and threw up his meal. I would NOT recommend this place for anything other than the view, the drinks are pretty good and the entertainment in the bar is good but the service from Lauren sucks! Sorry Lauren ... EPIC FAILURE!!!!

I had to go to Seaside for work and decided to eat somewhere on the beach. My family came with me so I wanted to have something nice and different. Went in expecting great, but left disappointed. Very disappointed. The service wasnt great. Had to wait forever for her to bring refills, check, ect. The food was the worst. $25 salad was worth $10 at most. Paid extra for lobster and found one to three pieces. Husband ordered blackened halibut, it tasted blah and like smoke. Not worth $27 at all. Menu is small and everything is expensive. As we were leaving the front person asked how everything was and I said we were disappointed. He just said "Oh no. Hopefully we do better next time." Really got the impression they did not care that much. Will never go back and recommend people go elsewhere.

Took my family if four (my husband, 4yr old and 1yr old). The"hostess" asked if we wanted a high chair I said Tess. 5 minutes later my husband went you go get one. My husband ordered fish and chips that are always good. I ordered salad and chowder and then kids chowder for the little ones. She came back with two kids chowder and told me they ran out. It wasnt even noon. How do you run out off chowder by noon??? Its not a busy place. So I cancel my whole order cause I just didnt want anything at that point. My husbands good comes shortly after. I notice the kids dont want to eat. I was already frustrated. I decided to eat some of their chowder. It was glue!!! It seriously had the worst consistency and tasted like it was last nights chowder. We will NEVER EVER go there again!

The food was a very unfortunate experience I had a shrimp Louie and had to ask for salad dressing and was told it was already on the Louie salad. When I looked under the shrimp I found lettuce literally drowned in thousand island dressing and it was disgusting so I was only able to eat the shrimp the avocado the olives the lettuce was awful . my husband had clam chowder that was mostly potato chowder and fish and chips that were nothing to brag about and it was a very expensive bad experience, service was marginal and slow we also ordered, Fried calamari that came out white and undercooked that was supposedly fried calamari it was disgusting. Great views. Go far the bar not the food

I was really wanting our last dinner in Seaside to be memorable, but choosing to eat here was a huge disappointment. The food is pricey with nothing to show for it- I ordered the Market Catch (rock fish), it was fried to a crisp, incredibly salty and served on cold rice with three asparagus spears. The waiter offered tartar sauce, but never brought it. Actually, the waiter never came back, at all. Ever. Was he kidnapped? Its a mystery. My husband ordered the $30 Dungeness crab mac n cheese, which had a $1.09 of crab in it with a runny cheese sauce. Yay. Youre paying for the view at this restaurant, which was astounding. The food is gross and expensive.

I normally do not trust reviews or leave them. We were here for a combination mothers day and birthday dinner. The service was fair and my chowder was passable, but dinner was not worth the $60 they wanted for it. I had the greasy fish and chips and my wife had what they claimed to be a new York strip. The strip was tough as nails. The spinach looked like it came out of a can. They gave us bread for an apitizer. Little buns that obviously came out of a bag. Our last exprince here was coffee and an ice cream brownie and it was good. Next time we want to watch the sunset, it will be coffee and brownie. Not dinner. I should have trusted the reviews.

Stayed at the Shiloh for Christmas. Nice time at the coast. Had Christmas buffet at the Boardwalk Restaurant and Lounge in the Hotel. Was a very nice buffet. Reasonably priced. What was really outstanding was the people working. In particular our waitress Rhoda was excellent. She was pleasant and made us feel very welcomed to be there. Two other employees, Joe and Brian were very friendly and helpful when it came to our seating and maneuvering the buffet. I would do it again.
