The course is okay. A lot of the greens are sanded right now so putting was terrible. Also, they dont make golfers ride which REALLY slows down play since there are a lot of people who walk. The back 9 is pretty hilly which makes waiting times rise with the walkers. I teed off as a single at 1:15pm and finished up at 6pm! Also, I played out of 3 or 4 sand traps that were hard as a rock. After the first shot that went 20 yds over the green after skulling the ball, I decided to drop out of all the traps. Another thing that bothers me are the condition of the cups. I dont know if they change pin locations every day but the lips of the cups are completely trash each time Ive played here.

played there last saturday with 4 of my friends. booked for 5 of us and 5 of us played but they charged me for no-show with my credit card that i used for booking. called them for an explanation and a re-fund but the manager, John was saying he is not able to help? still dont understand why i had to pay for no-show. hes saying 3 of my friends checked in as guests. only 2 of us checked in as booked. it was their staffs mistake not mine but still had to pay the no-show charge. hes avoiding my phone calls for a couple of days. be careful with these guys. they are trying to steal $$ from you. a horrible experience.

Another very long round of golf. Every time I think Ill try La Mirada again it reminds me why I avoid it. I played while the super bowl was on! There were only a handful of cars in the lot... ok you think, should be a easy cruse round and not the backup. By tee 3 there were so many slow groups in front of us we pretty much waited on each hole. Nobody lets you through there, and how can you get in any kind of rhythm when you sit in your cart watching guys take 10 min. to put while you get cold. poorly run course, wont be going back soon.

Absolutely rediculous that I called to ask how the course conditions are and the Asain gentleman that answered the phone cant understand what Im asking and then I asked were there any damages during this last rain storm and Im asked in return, "what are damage?" Get an employee that can understand English please. I shouldnt have to be a dictionary for someone answering phones in a pro shop in a dominate hispanic/white neighborhood.

I play La Mirada monthly. Enjoy the course layout and the greens are generally in good shape. Yeah, theres a wait at many holes and the greens will collect their share of ballmarks as is the case with most heavily used county facilities. Come on, its not Pebble! Many golfers simply dont repair the divots in the fairways and ballmarks on the green. Really? If you cant repair your marks you got no reason to complain.

Had a great round yesterday at La Mirada. The greens, fairways...conditions were great. It wasnt too crowded and the pace of play was very fair. We didnt have a teetime but the starter guy told us to just hang on and he would get us out. It didnt take long before we were teeing off. Very friendly guy. For the price, this place is so worth it. Will play here again next week.

A very long round of golf. Teed of at 9 am on a Saturday morning and did not finish until 2:30. The marshalls just drive around saying hello, doing nothing to speed up play. Too many fivesomes, some walking, and not enough people waving up on the six par threes. Fun course but too much time to play. I will not go back and would not ecourage anyone to play there.

Came for the golfing range, it was a lot of fun. Not expensive either, it was 12 dollars I believe for a large bucket of balls and the clubs were free for us to use (the ones they had available at least, which was their 3 and 4 clubs). Was a good first time experience theres, came on a Tuesday where they also had tacos for sale outside.

Not one of my favorites. Driving range is not open in early morning when I want to play/warm up. The clientele seems to play very slowly. People in my group have had their golf ball taken by other players. The price is low, the course is okay, but the overall atmosphere is not one that makes me at all comfortable.

What a wonderful place to be a place of relaxation and enjoyment they even have a McDonalds and Jack and the box right on the golf course and they have a large lake where you can go fishing and bring the family and go for about a boating Excursion its a wonderful place thank God for La Mirada Golf Course

Like everyone else, the time to play is unreal. I agree the Marshal do nothing to speed play. 5 1/2 hrs + is just too long. Pace of play will keep me from ever making an afternoon "T" time there again. Personnel and faciltites are fair to good but not worth the slow play experience.

First time here. Price attracted me, should have known better. Greens were pock marked and bumpy. Fairway was half dirt, and bunkers were rocky. But the worst thing was the ungodly slow play. I wish I could say I saw a Marshall, a cart girl or that Id return, but that would be true.

I just played at La Mirada after not playing there for about a year. It was an enjoyable experience playing there. Our pace was a little over 4 hours and the greens were in perfect condition. Wow! How times have changed. Great round!

This customer service is very terrible, rude, bad aptitude whenever I paid green fee or asked something. only one lady was good, other guys were disgusting to ask and pay it. I will not play this course any more under Garbage Management.

Good course layout, good course maintenance, excellent staffs, but too slow players. Lots of chance to improve slow play with positive involvement of marshall. I noticed they would not involve themselves in slow play.

The park is great. That means there are too many people. ( feeding the Ducks that give the lake that beautiful color and its crisp clean scent. ). They had a pro shop. But now its just a shop.
