Its a great historical bar that pours a stiff drink if you like that. The summertime and weekends bring the tourists in but be careful if you go there in the winter. Watch your back...the Snug seems to attract a...um...certain local crowd and if you look at the wrong drunk the wrong way, dont say you havent been warned. Years back I had the opportunity to host karaoke there and one night after a certain local attempted to sing a song (this individual was apparently well known for his excessive drinking and penchant for violent outbursts) he was so unhappy with the whole experience that he basically threatened to knife me. The song he picked had a backing vocal that was usually removed...in this case it wasnt and he was dead set on the belief that I was set out to make fun of him in some way. The employees basically laughed it off. Go in a group, keep to yourselves and you should be fine...or stay in the north part of town...and by all means dont move to LC unless you can survive on little $ and enjoy meth. Other than that, its a great city to visit and the Snug can be fun...and safe! :)

From our first visit on Sat. Aug. 26th, 2017: "Nice local bar/restaurant. Lots of locals here, which is usually a good sign for quality but can sometimes lead to non-regulars feeling unwelcome - not here, we felt totally welcome. Nice extra to have the Oregon State Beavers game on the big screen. Friendly service and delicious food. I had a made to order omelet, which was very tasty with loads of fillings (I had olives, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, sausage & cheddar). My partner said his chicken fried steak was the best hes ever had." Recap: friendly, popular with locals and tourists, tasty comfort food, good service Loved this place so much, we went back for lunch today (Mon. Aug. 28th). Same friendly bartender and cook. I had a great, perfectly cooked burger: the cheddar, egg & burger combined for that great burger taste. My partner had the Philly cheese steak: he says it was really good, large portion (lunch tomorrow?), one of the best hes ever had. Great little bar/restaurant with great food. We will definitely be back whenever were in Lincoln City again.

The food is really good, the atmosphere is cozy, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. We came here because of Yelp reviews, and looking at it from the outside had misgivings. Lets be honest, sometimes you read a review then, having visited a place, wonder how it scored so high. Snug Harbor will not disappoint. It is a smallish bar, and looks, like it should be another run of the mill regulars hangout. But my Philly Cheesy Steak, salad, and my ladys chicken fried steak were all very tasty. It is not a high class, food snob serving restaurant with a hostess, but it has it were it counts. I have now been in this establishment three separate times. If I were a local, it would be a regular stop. When my lady wanted a crispy chicken salad made, they made it for her even though it was not on the menu. Oh, and the Berry Cobbler is awesome. We now stop here every time we are in town.

Snug Harbor has been one of our Date Night Destinations now for over a year. We have plenty of "Bars" in our town but the Snug stands out. The Quality of Food and Service has always been Excellent, even when the poor girl behind the counter is the only one to take your order and serve you and theres 100 people in the room, she does so with a smile. For those of you that write a negative report, saying you were ignored, or the wait staff talked "above" you. maybe try going back a time or two before you write that review... People have bad days and do their best while serving others, bad nights do happen..., I would like to see some of you do their job if even for a few hours on a packed night.... Keep up the good work Guys and Gals of Snug Harbor, though you dont know me, I and my partner are there rooting for you..

My favorite place to be on any night to dance (my personal physical therapy) was taken away by the drunks, while I got a "trespass & eight-six (86)" from it. I apologize to all who witnessed the scene tonight. Its on video, come see for yourself. Does Paul W. Long aka WillieDuPlez get the right treatment? Hurry, they might erase it. Linclon City Police says so! You be the JUDGE, if you feel you got the right to! Sorry but I believe in Jesus, hes the only one that can and will. Thank you, my father God for watching over me.

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon to Lincoln City, because it received great reviews. Well, these reviews must have been by locals because they were about the only people to get any service. The food was mediocre and for the most part we were totally ignored. When our server did talk to us she did so with an attitude, like she was talking to children. The prices were good, but Id gladly pay twice what we did to go somewhere else in town.

This place is amazing. Ive lived here for over two years, and eat out most of the time. Ive eaten at most of the place in this town, and the Snug Harbor is by far the best, open menu, in Lincoln city. And they have food until 2:00 am. They also have live music and dancing with a very good band on Tuesdays and Saturdays nights. The wait staff is all there to serve you in a fast and Curtis manner. The drinks are generous

Popped in for the "traditional beach experience" vibe in the form of coconut shrimp and a fruity cocktail and was surprised with much MORE. The food was great (especially chowder). There isnt a bar menu so the bartender asked what I liked and mixed me up something fantastic. Coconut shrimp was everything Id hoped for. Service was excellent and bartenders made us feel like locals at home. Reccomended 100%!!!!!

Decent food ,good prices wife and I came out for our anniversary the server Suzy very friendly very helpful. Not a problem at all ppl who complain about being ignored I can see the place is very small so EZ to see how it can be mistaken for being ignored , my advice get ur ass up and just ask for a menu... Will definitely be back when we revisit...

We were told that we had to stop in and get a fish sandwich, so we did. Thrilled with the service and food! Husband got the fish sandwich, I opted for the special of Chicken Cordon Bleu. Husband was worried because he normally doesnt like beer battered fish, he didnt even put it down once. We will be returning every time we are in town.

My oasis. A hidden gem. So much character. Leslie, the owner, is a lovely person who treats her staff and patrons well. They have a heavy hand when it come to pouring cocktails and amazing food. The menu has expanded, so if you havent been in lately, come check it out! Tip your bartender and entertainment!!

Great service and super solid food. The portions are plentiful and the prices are super reasonable. Decent selection of beers. They serve breakfast all day and offer a plentiful menu of bar standards, plus pizza. Its the only place in Lincoln City thats open late, but they take that role quite seriously.
