Ordered my normal lunch today which I order 2-3x per week and spend well over $100 a week at this restaurant, NEVER AGAIN. I am not one to typically take food back to a restaurant but my normal entree was so pasty with cornstarch and under flavored I could not eat it and I had to take it back to the restaurant. At that point I heard the owner screaming at the wait staff that he would not be taking care of me as a customer. The waitress came back out to tell me that the chef said that my meal tasted fine (gross) and that he would not be replacing my food or refunding my money. I explained to her that this is not good customer service this is not how you treat your neighbor who refers many people over to this restaurant in this isnt how you treat a regular. She went back in, he screamed at her some more and eventually she came out and told me that I would not be receiving a refund or a corrected meal

Came for lunch and were seated immediately with our choice of tables they dont have booths. Simple and few Chinese decorations about the place. The staff were very friendly and the price for most of the lunches were $6.75 EA. We ordered a combination where you choose your items and I ordered Almond Chicken. When we were seated we were given hot tea and ice water. The food came in about ten minutes and everything was delicious! Almond chicken was breast battered, fried and covered with brown gravy as used for egg foo young. The combo ordered was sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. The meals came with one crab puff and two small egg rolls. The food was hot and plentiful with enough for a second meal. We really enjoyed our visit. We will be back! PS. I made a mistake on my Google questions, correction this place does have bar, serves cocktails and wine.

Well we read the other reviews and either the restaurant was sold and turned over to a bunch of novice Icelandic cooks or the original reviews were all from family members because the food was horrible. It was so bad we threw all except the Fried Rice away instead of saving all for the next day left-overs and we have never done that. I am not sure what they made the egg roll out of but it was big and mostly breaded crust that might have been better with maple syrup sans the inside concoction. The shrimp in lobster sauce did have shrimp and yes it tasted vaguely of lobster but again we also tossed it. I am writing this in hopes the owners will take a hard look at their food and fire the cook.

Ive never wrote a bad review until now. I ordered a chicken and rice. My husband ordered a #12. We waited a long time for the food to arrive. My husbands arrived first. Mine came 7 minutes later. When I bit into mine I was shocked. It was fish. Tilapia. Just to make sure my husband took a bite. He confirmed what my tastebuds already told me. I immediately took it to the waitress. They told me I was wrong and it would be up p to the chef if I had to pay for I. The older heavier set white haired waitress started swearing at my husband. He paid for his meal which he didnt eat and we left.

Worst chinese food Ive ever had. All the meat was obviously raw. The meat itself was obviously poor quality (even for chinese). I almost immediately felt sick. Serves me right for giving eating it a chance. On a minor note the service was terrible as well. Do not go here. I also have a strong suspicion that they used fish instead of chicken with the chicken and rice. If you dont believe me, try it. I dare you.

The food was outstanding. Try the sweet and sour chicken or pork! Chow mein! Great portions! The only thing that was lacking was the service. The waitress (white female with gray hair) just disappeared after serving us the food. She came back before we left, so we could pay for the meal. Ummm ... ??? If you live nearby, you might want to do a take out order.

From the egg flower soup and potstickers, to the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken, everything was delicious. I havent even found a Chinese place in Portland where everything is as good as this place was. The waitress kept water full and was very nice. We will definitely be coming back here.

This was Not a great place, the building looks like it was Barely passing sanitation, was seated quick but than waited a while for service when the place was empty. Food quality tasted like it was all Frozen, portions were not horrible though. Definitely will Not be going back

This is our Chinese restaurant of choice and were never disappointed. The new owners have stayed with the basic recipes that have always worked before, and their updates to the building are much appreciated. Great food, friendly service, fair prices...you cant beat it!

This place takes you by surprise. Doesnt look like much from the outside and very cafe like on the inside, but the food is fantastic and the portions are huge. We would definitely go back again. Simply awesome.

Not very good food for the price. Got two huge orders of chicken and one order of rice. Not satisfied at all. Very disappointed in my experience. I definitely dont recommend to anyone.

Although the building could use a little fixing up, the kitchen is clean, and the food is always great. Food is served hot and to your liking.
