Very very very slow service, menu hasnt changed in like 5 years, lack of customer respect. I fee like Ive been treated so poorly for a returning customer. Tonight patrona really showed me their true state. It was 1 of 3 places I visit in town to get fed. I walked in after calling twice. First time they said call back in 15 for to go order cause they were to busy. Then I call back and they hang up on me. So I walk in and ask if they want my money. The only person in there with some class, the bartender, says yes we want your cash. She takes my order. The chef says for 2 hrs we arent taking Togo orders. I Guess they were overwhelmed due to lack of staff. Some how what Ive seen over the years is that they are ALWAYS overwhelmed. They werent even that busy this evening. So they make my order but now Im sitting waiting for 45 minutes. The bartender finally asks whats up with my order and they say its been sitting there ready. I saw it and wondered what was up. The bartender told them "next time please let me know its ready." She said she would give me back the money for the desert. I didnt care. I just wanted to leave. So I drive home 20 minutes away only to find out that the desert I gave a deposit of $10 for isnt even in the bag. And then the sou chef comes out of the kitchen laughing. What the F&@k? Is this the way a business in a small town does business. I called and vetted to the manager they offered a $50 gift certificate but I have to be honest, when it comes to service, this place drops the ball every single time. I can never see myself going back to this dump! This WAS the last straw for me in this place.

Popular place with nice outside seating in the evening. Those tables are apparently hard to get, but my group of four got lucky because a reservation was changed at the last minute. Good service, good entreés, good bread served while youre waiting. A couple weak spots with the food: Scallops. My wife ordered them and discovered they were breaded! Who does that to a scallop? My wife was particularly disappointed because from the description she expected it to be a gluten-free (or low-gluten) meal. I ended up taking her meal and giving her my (excellent) swordfish. But even without gluten concerns, breaded scallops are just a waste. They taste so much better seared. Beets. The ones in the beet salad tasted suspiciously like canned ones.

Walked in w/o reservations on sweet heart day for lunch. The older couple just before us was accommodated with a table that had to be cleared. They had no reservation like us. Our turn came up and we were told that it would be a half hour before we could get seated, cuz the were full. My wife and I saw at least 4 - 5 tables that were open and only one had a sign that said "Reserved". Felt like we were discriminated against, probably wont go back there anytime soon.

I travel 101 alot, and look forward to those days when I can have dinner at Patronas. I must have eaten there 5 times this year. The food is the best Ive found between Santa Rosa and Garberville (Benbow, Cecils, Mateel Cafe), the ambience is nice, service good. I normally get something exotic, but their burger was superb too. Expect to spend a few dollars, and expect to be very happy that you dropped by.

The food was good, and the wine, however, my food was undercooked the first time and had to be sent back. I ended up eating by myself because my party was finished and unfortunately there was no compensation for that! I am not big on a place that doesnt see a problem with eating alone when others are done! The portions are also small so dont go extremely hungry!

Good drinks and specials....then the food came. Carnitas tacos were bland and the chips and salsa which are free everywhere else in the world (3$) were awful. The irony is there are Latinos in the kitchen doing the dishes and Caucasians cooking the "mexican " food. Defiantly need to reevaluate the job titles in the back of the house

Truly outstanding food. My fathers yellowfin tuna was the best hes ever had (hes got over 100 countries in his passport so hes not a tender foot gastronomique). My western burger had fantastic home made pickles. My daughters grapefruit avocado sandwich was greatly enjoyed. Cocktails were excellent as was desert.

Went there for my birthday this year and the food was great. The waiter we had was the most amazing waiter my boyfriend and I have ever had. Kept giving us recommendations on what was the best and gave us his personal opinion. It was amazing. Pretty romantic atmosphere and great service. Food was phenomenal.

Great food, but slow and haphazard service. It took us 40 minutes to get our food for lunch (salad, flatbread and ravioli), and when we got it one of the dishes was different than what we ordered. Everything was tasty, but Im not sure well go back, especially because of the slow service.

What a great find! The Caprese salad with local heirloom tomatoes was the best Ive ever had. John had the roasted beet salad and it was perfect! We shared a small portion of the eggplant ravioli~yummy! Attentive staff and a great patio made for a wonderful lunch!

Great just for cocktails or a full dinner. The bar seating is cozy and service is usually great. They can get busy on Taco Tuesdays and weekends. They incorporate local produce, especially mushrooms, and they have a very good wine selection. Knowledgeable staff.

Food was great! Calamari was the best! A bit disapointed they only had enough tea for maybe 5 people at once. We were told we could order something else, but nothing else was hot like tea. We will go back next time we are in town!

The food was delicious. However, the bus boy did more waiting than the waitress. She was nice enough but forgot multiple things and was very very slow. Pricing was pretty average, not outrageous. Overall a decent experience.

One of a small hand cluster of fine Northern California cuisine restaurants in this small town. Food reliably good and frequently exceptional. Local sourced food and meat when available (almost always).
