Always loved this theater until last visit. We were getting seated and someone bumped me and my soda fell to the floor, my husband ran to get someone to come clean it up. He was very friendly and told us to go back to concession and they will refill the soda so my husband took my cup and the lady told him he had to go to the end of the line, so he came back in and I told him I would go out in a bit since he said there was a long line. I waited about ten minutes and the lady told me the same thing, then when I got to the counter she said it would be another 1.50 to refill it ( we all know it costs the 5 cents maybe per cup to fill and it was not my fault it got spilled). So had to go back in and get some money to pay for a refill. She was very rude about it and we missed about ten mins of the movie with all the running back and forth. Very poor customer service. Another thing that always bother us too was they do not have a cover on their butter they need to put a cover with a pump like the other theaters have to keep flys, nats and other things from falling into the butter. We are going to call the health department about this issue. We have not gone back since this happened about three months ago

My favorite theatre in the area. I drive out of my way to go here because the staff is awesome, the seats are comfy and the prices are incredible. I am a little hesitant writing a good review as one of my most cherished amenities is offered here, small crowds of "good" movie going folk. I never hear talking or get distracted by other patrons here. The previews are short and the theatres are kept clean. I will continue to love this place as long as it keeps up the awesomeness.

Love this local movie house. It is run by the city. Reasonable ticket prices, cheap eats when compared to other places and clean. It will get busy on the weekends but if you like movies you might be able to watch one during the week nights by yourself or with very few people in the theater. The claw game almost always gives out prizes. The only down side is that some of the theaters are small but worth it.

It is new... it is nice... it is SMALL. I dont know how one can call this a "Big Screen". The theaters are shoebox sized, and the screens feel no bigger than sitting at home in front of the big screen TV. I really wanted to get a refund and go to a real movie theater. These "Shoebox" theaters need to advertise that they are not bigscreens.

Lately weve been going there every Tuesday for the last several months because we like the $5 tightwad Tuesday deal that they offer. My wife loves the place and I think its the only reason that I tolerate it at all. That makes her happy makes me happy so there we go theres your 5 stars.

Local business, fair prices on admission and snacks. Smaller theaters, but decent quality sound and clean for a movie theater. (Wouldnt eat food off the floor, but your feet dont stick to it either). Plus its not stupid regal, AMC, etc. The way theaters were in the good old days.

i love the fact that even though its a small theater. you get great service and with a smile. the popcorn is to die for, simply the best around. period. i see nothing wrong with the theater, and they should keep doing what they are doing, because they are doing it right.

I love my home town theater. The sound is superb in the theaters. The popcorn is delightful. The prices are much more managable then other area theaters. Canby Cinema, you have a customer for life. Here is to a hopefully long and growing stay here in Canby.

Im a little biased because I live a handful of blocks away, but the Canby Cinema 8 theater and its employees have always been great. About 75% of the time we can go to any movie and the theater is not packed, making for an enjoyable experience.

We always enjoy Canby Cinema. The only thing I would change is the fact the no longer post on show times on Fandango, But the still get a 5-star from me foe being a super clean, cozy local theater with great prices and personnel.

Lost my wallet there asked about left my name phone number and everything 3 months later cops dropped it off at my house saying employee who handled it would not give when where and who found it. Staff not very honest

Ticket and snack sales at same register slows both. Would appreciate a speedier process. I love the theater, but NOT standing in line as someone at the counter orders snacks for themselves and a bunch of kiddies.

I enjoyed this theater very much. The employees are very kind and will always help you. The seats are very comfortable and the popcorn is AMAZING plus the prices are affordable. Trust me I will come back!

I much prefer to give my money to a privately owned company, rather than a HUGE corporation like Regal. Candy Cinema also does a lot of fund raisers for charity .... VERY NICE PLACE, VERY NICE PEOPLE !!

I have to say that Canby Cinema 8 offers a refreshing change when compared to the other movie purveyors in the Portland area. A very friendly staff and the place is always neat and clean.

This is a smaller theatre, but the ticket prices are very reasonable. So are the snack prices (for a theatre). The staff are very polite and super helpful.
