Great theater, poor customer service. Obviously the staff is concerned about people "stealing" soda, when claiming they are only needing cups for water. Because of this, they have a stack of very small cups off to the side of the machine. I politely asked if I could have a larger cup, as I only drink water, and the counter attendant said "No, because then Id have to charge you the same price as a fountain drink". I proceeded to fill up two tiny cups with water, then began looking for lids. I couldnt find any. I asked for lids, and she stated "We dont have lids for water cups". They actually expect you to carry your tiny un-lidded water cup with tickets and popcorn through the halls and dark theater! At this point, I asked the attendant if I could speak to a manager. She replied, " You could, but she is only going to tell you the same thing". Unbelievable! Train your employees better! When the manager arrived, she said "Well, the theater has to pay for those fountain drink cups". I said I would pay their cost for the cup- I just wanted water. I said she could fill it herself if she was concerned that I was trying to steal soda. She said there are no exceptions. I asked for the general managers name, and where I could leave feedback. She said it was "Eric" and "just go to the cinemark website". There is no place to leave feedback on the website! This theater is nice and has reclining seats, but it is not worth dealing with rude employees being treated like a theif.

Ok, for realz yall! I typically give any big chain or new cinema the standard "A-OK" 3 star but these guys are trying to make you WANT to go out for a movie again! The concessions and decor are pretty standard fair. BUT you can reserve seats online and buy your tix that way before coming and not have to wait in line most of the time and when you get to your theater... BOOM!, your own personal recliner! For serious guys! This is like home comfy electric recliner with cup holders and lots of walking room in front of your spot to not bother anyone else when you do need to get up during a movie or no one to be in your site line when youre enjoying it yourself! Its amazing! It means the theater spaces that offer this are about half if not less of the seating capacity but thats exactly why its special. The funny thing is, its the same prices as normal theater tickets. So get some of your evening grocery and shopping out of the way beforehand so youre already in SE when your movie begins! Make the trek if this isnt your home neighborhood.

The remodel is appears to be done with new seats and configuration; however the seats are the most uncomfortable seats I have sat in in a long time. True, they recline and you have a lot of elbow and leg room, but the head rest hits me in a really bad spot which forces my head forward and my neck goes unsupported. I saw a movie last night and could barley walk when I left the theater my back and neck hurt so bad. This is my neighborhood theater and I use to love to go there, the seats were comfortable and they rocked; now they are bigger and they recline but they are not comfortable at all. I tried putting my purse behind my neck for some support which helped a bit but not enough. Maybe a 5 7" I need a booster seat to have that uncomfortable head rest hit me correctly. Until then I wont step foot inside the theater again. Sorry Century 16 Eastport I can no longer see a show at your establishment.

I went here for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting it to be like most other theaters but this place has got it figured out. When you buy your tickets you choose your seats on a screen, which I have never seen a movie theater do before. But its nice because then you dont have to rush to get a good seat. Speaking of the seats, every seat in the theater is an electric recliner which are really comfy. The theater is set up in such a way where no matter what seat you have, you have a good view of the screen, partially because there is lots of room between you and the row in front of you, and also because the seats are closer to the center of the screen. I was sitting at the end of the row and I didnt have to angle my neck a weird way to see it. I will definitely be going back to this theater.

I love this theatre. Picking out your seats ahead of time is such a time saver - I never have to wait in a theatre to "reserve" good seats. They have these really comfy and plush recliners. Theyre nice and big, and the armrests go up if you want to snuggle with your date. Ive sat in a full theatre here and never felt crammed in or crowded. The concession prices are about average, but they have a bonus of ice cream cones (not in plastic, but actually scooped in front of you) and pick-your-own candy thats priced by weight. I wish theyd fix the air hockey table (its rubbish), but other than that, this is a great place to catch a film. Its a little hard to find, so leave extra time to get there if youve never been before.

Very nice in every aspect. Newly remodeled with huge seats, reserved seating, etc. and always has a good number of screens showing the most current releases, GREAT snacks [they applied for an OLCC permit months back and I believe it was granted but cant say for certain, but overpriced beer and wine would be an excellent beverage to wash down some popcorn and crap food with, especially since Im about 5 minutes walk from the front doors] even a few decent employees that Id probably go out of my way to avoid running over if I were on a motor vehicle murder spree at 90 mph and I saw them on the sidewalk, locked and loaded in my cross hairs

I absolutely love the leather recliners, they are super comfortable! And its so much more convenient to be able to reserve your favorite seat and not have to get to the theater ridiculously early. This is currently my theater of choice. My only issue is having to ask people to move out of the seats I reserved, its happened every time since the remodel. I always purchase my tickets very early because I enjoy having specific seats. So please realize all seats are reserved so just sit in the seat you chose! Because my answer is Sorry, but No. I am not going to switch seats with you because you want the seats I chose and paid for.

This movie theater was comfy! They have the best seats and seating system out of all the theaters. You pick out your exact seats when purchasing your ticket, making grouping up with friends easy to figure out. Once in the theater you get spoiled by electric reclining seats with leg rests, large folding arm rests made with actual cushions (not hard plastic) and room to walk by everyone in the aisle while they are laying back relaxed. With this layout you could even cuddle comfortably next to your company, if you so choose. I hadnt been to Century 16 in some time, but Ill definitely be going back!
