I have been going to this theater for many years, I remember when my mom worked at the Depote , she was a waitress then for the restaurant on the other side of Star theater- and my dad would take us kids to the theater on Fridays once in a while,as we waited for her to get off work, a this time the theater was pretty old and over the years became ran down and stop going for awhile, when I had children I started going back- despite the way it looked , But the new owners who it now have done a wonderful job restoring the theater and have brought back some great memories, they are wonderful owners , very friendly, fairly priced and great and popcorn , I recommend any one to come and hang out at the Star Theater!!!!! :)

Great small town theater that play a single flick. Great prices comfortable seating and friendly staff with the old school feel of a classic theater. Totally recommend this theater especially with children. Love coming here on a regular basis and you never have that feeling like you just had your wallet robed.

At this theater, you can see a movie and get popcorn, drinks, and candy without breaking the bank. They only show one movie at a time and usually try to alternate family and adult movies. The popcorn is great, the theater is always clean, and the employees are always nice and smiling.

If you want a theater that brings you back in time when everyone was nice and more relaxed then this is the place to go. The young lady selling you the tickets was a joy to talk to. The men running the concession stand were perfect gentlemen. Thank you again for a grand experience.

I love the Star! Theyre always very friendly, they get great movies, and the prices are reasonable. They even have 3D, which is pretty remarkable for a small town theater. Id much rather see a movie here than in a bigger town.
