This was a very bad experience. First off the food was terrible and the cashier didnt even know what the options were. We had to explain that we wanted the pop and popcorn combo twice. The pretzel bites tasted like plain bread. I wasnt expecting 5 star dining but at least some flavor. They just put the pretzels in a box with powder and shake it up a little bit and they were terrible... I had to drench them with cheese to get some flavor. Then we get to our seats and there is no space for your feet because the seats are super close together and no reclining seats. The theatre also echoed way too much. There were only about 20 people in the theatre and we could hear everything ppl 10 rows in front of us were saying. We go to the theatre about 3 or 4 times a month on average and this was the worst experience we have had in a long time. Id recommend everyone to just go the emagine in Canton. The food is better, the seats are better and the theatre itself is more updated and clean. I dont plan on coming back here again.

A few months ago I came to this theater for the first time in years. We have 4 kids so dont get to go much and when we do we honestly usually go to another theater that costs much less to go. The first visit back in August.. I came home and got super sick super fast. I was 99% positive it was from the popcorn. I ended up vomiting and everything. Today my husband and I decided to try it out again. He didnt go last time. I almost didnt because of how sick it made me last time but thought maybe it will be different this time. Nope. We both came home and both fell extremely ill within an hour.. both very nauseated and feeling as though we may vomit. I didnt eat much popcorn this time with the fear I had From the last time. So lucky for me I got sick feeling but havent vomitted. My husband on the other hand has been vomiting for a hour now in the bathroom. I know for sure its the popcorn or the butter. we have never been sick like this at the other theater we usually go to.

I decided to order some concessions. They have a lot on there menus so I stood back out of the way for about 3 minutes just to check out the menu. When me and my date got to the counter we ordered curly fries (we thought it was cool a theater had them and figured we would give them a try) the man behind the counter, with another worker behind him said, and i quote, "Wow, we want to congratulate you on beating the record for a couple taking the longest f***ing time to decide what they wanted!" Cant believe a staff member would do something like this! Besides this horrific experience, the ticket and concession prices are very high compared to their competitors and their seats are real close to the screen (not like you have to sit in the front row), and to upright for me considering my back and neck became sore during the movie.

A pair of movie tickets - $20 Parking - free Clean, comfortable seating - almost free The expression on my face when the cashier told me it would be $28 and some change for 2 personal pan pizzas, 2 sodas and a pack of twizzlers - priceless. Some things money cant buy. But you wont be able to buy anything with any money after visiting this theatre because you wont have any left. Icing on the cake - we went to see the Spirit, which has only been out a week and they put us in some crappy little theatre that only seats 50 people and has a screen smaller than my friends TV. In short, EFF THIS PLACE! Go to E-Magine in Canton. It is much more reasonable for tickets and has better food. The next time I go to AMC (if I ever go again), I will be bringing my big purse packed with goodies. Sorry dudez.

Are you people payed to say the seats are comfortable because they are not in the slightest. I always come out of this theater with my back on fire. Constantly having to readjust myself never could feel comfortable. Good luck getting into one of the theaters with a decent sized screen because most are tiny as hell like Im talking Livonia mall 90s movie theater bad. The popcorn is horrendous its all premade cold and stale over salted and with gross fake butter already absorbed into its crusty shell. Tastes like styrofoam. Everything is terribly overpriced the only decent thing is the bar where you can go to drown your sorrows over your bad movie going experience. If my family ever stopped giving me gift cards for this place I would be a happy man.

This theatre is AMAZING! There are so many good things to say about this theatre I dont know where to start. The staff is very fast and friendly so I rarely wait in any lines. The picture quality and sound is always flawless and I hear that they are getting an IMAX theatre soon!!! As far as prices go, IT PAYS TO BE A MOVIEWATCHER member. Its a completely free program that collects points every time you buy tickets and theyre always giving me FREE STUFF! There Ticket and concession prices are compairable to the surrounding theatres unless you know when to come then you can save big money! All in all you will not be dissapointed in your trip to this theatre. It is the BEST THEATRE IN ALL OF MICHIGAN!!!

My father, brother and I came to this location on May 7th to watch Captain America Civil War. We go out of our way to come to this location because of the friendly staff and how organized the establishment is. Every time we come here everything runs smoothly and there is always someone walking around cleaning up the spilled popcorn on the floor. I love how they stay updated with the new beverage stations. The food and tickets are expensive but that is everywhere you go. I have never experienced burnt popcorn or food at this location. Every year our entire family comes to this location for Christmas to spend time with each other and we will continue this as a family tradition.

Decideded to drop the AMC Membership with other friends. Too often do people use the express lane and cheat a discount by giving out phone numbers that dont match a membership, then pulling a, well youre not going to make me go back in line are you? or can you give me the discount anyway, I dont know which phone number. If youre a regular and pay for a membership, how can you not come up with a number? I go to AMC theaters over 20 times per year, and Ive seen and heard this in just about every visit in Livonia and Southfield theaters. If cheating discounts and express lane is this common, Im not going to pay for a membership. I feel like AMC is cheating me.

My friend bought us tickets to see 50 shades darker (a rated R movie), we buy our ticket at the ticket booth with no problem at all. When we went to go in the guy who ripped off the tickets, and told us where to go asked to see our IDs. My friend showed his, but I just so happened to leave mine at home. I clearly look over the age of 18, the guy at the ticket booth had no problem at all! I was in complete disbelief at how rude they were to my friend and I, all because I didnt have my ID. On top of that we were already late to the movie, I told him I had no problem going to get it, but the movie had already started. They need better customer service!!
