Today was my first time going to this theater, and it was one of the worst theater experiences. We arrived early to our 7:00 showing of Wonder Woman. Luckily we bought our tickets ahead of time and arrived early because they were letting priemer guests through the concessions line before anybody else which took a 5 or 10 minute wait into a 30 minute wait. I could only imagine what the wait time would have been if we had to wait in the ticket line too or if we came during a busy time. Not only that, but the concessions were outrageously priced compared to other theaters. When we finally got to our seats the first chairs armrest had exposed screws and we had to switch chairs. Also, the screen was not centered, so you could not see a pretty significant part of the upper screen which really took the cake for me. Even at the very most basic level of projecting a movie on a screen and they failed. We paid to a lot of money to see a movie, and we would have been better off saving that money and buying the DVD when it was released. Seriously go to MJR that is overall cheaper and way better or Imagine which is similarly priced, and has a quality movie experience.

I took my daughter to see Sing 12/27/16! We arrived 10 minutes before the show started so the theater was dark with just the light from the movie screen.. Had I known how filthy the seats and floor was we would have turned around and walked right back out of the theater! I should have known something was wrong when I slid into my seat from the grease and filth on the floor! My mother dropped her glove and thats when the horrific filth was seen from the light of her cell phone... after the movie the seat revealed their poison as well it looked saturated with dirt n grease and body fluids upon body fluids... What made me angry was innocent little children were there enjoying a cartoon in filth and they did not know.. WHY IS THIS ALLOWED!!!!This is representation of Southfield which is a beautiful city! I WILL NEVER EVER SET FOOT IN THAT THEATER AGAIN!!!! My fear was I would take something home in my hair! on my shoes! or my coat! And the same with my daughter or mom! I went home and washed all of our coats n clothes! I hope you all get it together! Someone should Check u out! I wish I could post the pictures I have on hand! DISGUSTING!!!!

I went today (8/1/2017) for a showing at 4:45 PM. There were few customers since it was a Tuesday afternoon. They told me they didnt have the pretzel bites listed on their menu. They pretty much only had candy and popcorn. They also are Coca Cola exclusive and I dont like it because it gives me a stomach ache. I would do anything but Coca Cola but nope. This is the first theater Ive been to in my life that didnt have much available on their menu and only had Coca Cola products. The customer service person told me, while getting my ticket refunded, the pretzels are popular so maybe they ran out. No, a lack of listed products is ALWAYS a symptom of inadequate supply management and negligence. I refunded my ticket and left. I will never be back because I will not support companies with negligent and apathetic employees.

Ok... First of all I rarely leave reviews. I was raised if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all. But THIS was HORRIBLE!!! The arcade was like...what? The popcorn was over priced and overcooked. There was not any seasoning available and there was this cooking oil with a "hint" of butter flavor. 90% of the womens bathroom doors were nonfunctional and the hand dryers AND the auto paper towel dispensers werent working. But O...M...G!!! The SEATS!!! They were GROSS!! I dont mean "The months between cleaning" Gross. I mean like "These stains are celebrating their class reunion!" GROSS. I am hoping I have not caught or been bitten by anything because my thigh feels funny. Its been a long time since Ive been there and itll be a longer time before I go back. ...sigh this is why I prefer Netflix...lol

This movie theater is set up extremely well, and the tickets are cheapest anywhere around for new releases. It has games, and a very large concession stand with self-serve drinks, which helps make the line move more quickly. Normally I would give 5 stars, but the self-serve drink machines were all out of Cherry coke, and most of them were out of coke in general. I watched 2 movies, and over the span of 5 hours this issue was not addressed. Also, the bathrooms were quite large, which is good for avoiding lines. But they were clearly not cleaned thoroughly. Enough to appear nice at first glance, but once you go further in you see that it smells bad and the urinals and toilets arent really cleaned very well. Tldr; the theater is set up for a potential 5 stars, it just isnt maintained enough.

This theatre was once THE THEATRE to go to for an amazing experience. I havent been here in about ten years and it seems there hasnt been any aesthetic maintenance since then! The bathroom was disgusting. Tissue everywhere, trash bins overflowing, half the sink lighting wasnt working, cabinets peeling and needing replacement, sink caulk discolored and peeling. The letters atop the concession stand were dirty and dusty. The curtains on the theatre wall were frayed and coming undone. THE THEATRE SEATING: OMG STAINED AND NASTY! Who chose light gray fabric seats in a movie theatre? What Ive seen has been so alarming that I felt compelled to write this review as I sit waiting for the movie to start. The movie theater would be so much better if they enforced some strict rules and security with the rowdy crowds and under 18 age group. Also the seats are kind of gross and there is always a bug flying in the theater somewhere. Customer service is not that wonderful either, you can tell they really dont want to be there by their " I dont care attitude". Overall, this movie theater needs to go under new management, it just went downhill since I first started coming as little kid. Prices for tickets are low and affordable which is the only reason why I still come. And I highly recommend not coming during the busy times, Friday - Sunday Afternoon; a lot of people and very crowded and messy. The best time to come is when hardly anyone is there.

A gem when it first opened, then quickly downhill. Tried it again and regretted it. Crowded, chaotic, and all the cache of a 20-year-old train station (with the same dystopian atmosphere of doom). Understaffed, under maintained, and essentially overwhelmed by a predictably-sized crowd. Back-of-house talk and tasks happening in front of guests; soiled and broken amenities; little sense of urgency among the staff (who display a whipped-puppy sense of problem-solving, apparently fearful of catastrophic reprisal from superiors). No management presence to listen to concerns. A different theater at twice the price would be a better value. Ill try again in another year.

Dirty, dirty, dirty...seats are nasty, needs a major cleaning/update..I would bring a pillow case to sit on and take some clorox wipes, to clean off the seat dividers/cup holders. Clearly the new owners sized up the neighborhood and decided they didnt need to do any updates here. This theater wouldnt last 10 seconds in this condition in any other city, livonia, troy, farmington hills, bloomfield hills, berkely, novi, royal oak, I could go on !!!! But you get my point. maybe it should be boycotted. When one loses money, they will get the point too! Were too lax and just allow ourselves to put up with this crappy environment! Our kids go here to this nastyness
