I called this afternoon to make sure there would be a lane available for my family to bowl. The response I received was "sure we have plenty of lanes available". I arrived with my family about 5 minutes later and we were told no lanes were available as they were reserved for leagues and we could come back 3 hours later. Why did they tell me there were plenty of lanes available 5 minutes earlier? Disappointed family and a total waste of time. They could care less. We bowled at AMF in Lewisville 2 weeks ago and it took 4 trips to the snack bar to order food. Only one person working. I felt sorry for the poor guy. Dont waste your money. Go somewhere else!!!

Ive been here years before and it was a nice, cheap place to go bowling. However my recent visit was very unsavory, as it was around 12 dollars each for 3 people to bowl a single game in extremely tight lanes with an alley that chose rather frequently not return our balls. The staffs reaction was not very, if at all, apologetic and no discount or the likes was offered. Harsh review of my last visit aside, I assume it was a fluke but if you want a nice place to go bowling you can find better.

I have noticed that the AMF Lanes are not as clean as they once where. There are several of us that feel the lanes are quite dirty. When you are doing your approach, it kind of looks like grease or scrub marks . Some have even said they feel like they stick. Cant complain about the people (employees)that we interact with. Management has a responsibility to make sure their employees do their jobs. If there are not enough people, then they should see what needs to be done to correct that.

Just 1 person at the lane check in ... no order ... left standing three times for around 10 minutes each time with only one guy to serve so many people. The manager saw this and did nothing to pitch in. Just chaos at the check in counter. Bar service fast and well done. Bowling alley wss however in good condition. Bowling balls hard to find and sitting at lanes piled up ... had to scavenge accross the lanes for balls

Its pretty bad when it cost 6.50 and not even be asked if a league bowler. Then to top it off, the manager on duty today came down and bowled on a pair with someone who came in after me. They were bowling for free as it was set up by the manager. Must be nice to pick and choose who to charge. Go here to watch the staff all sit around and watch their supervisors bowl. Doubt I will return, hasnt changed here.

The building and equipment seems a little dated, but the lanes and approach are maintained well. This place is dedicated to bowling, not the arcade and all the other stuff like main event. Its nice not sticking to the floor on the approach, and well maintained lanes. If you want to bowl, its much nicer then main event for bowling. They have a pro shop witch also makes it a better then main event

place is run down. I was on lane one and the lane had a huge dent from previous wear and tear. This made bowling almost impossible as it threw your ball all over. I asked if I could be switched but due to it being league night there were no other lanes. Everything about the place indicates that the management does not want to spend any money keeping up the maintenance.

They wont serve alcohol to people with paper IDs, even though the state of TX issues paper IDs to people while their hard copies are being processed. Weve been here several times and this was never a problem until tonight. We were going to sign up for the 10 week fit bowl (4 of us) but luckily this happened before we wasted our money.

Called ahead @ 12:00. Was told they would have open bowling starting @ 3pm. Arrived a little after 3pm and was told by the person at the desk that management had not told them another league would be coming in at 3pm and there were now no open lanes for several hours. Incompetent is probably too nice a term.

Good place close to home to go bowling. A friend of mine who lives in Sanger, me and this friend me halfway to Denton Brunswick. Both of em are good. But AMF is much closer though. I think LISD Special Olympics do their bowling practice there.

Cheaper than main event and still a fun experience, I just wish they would turn out the lights and have the black lights on like main event. The interior needs to be updated... a little out of date and feels like an old folks bowling alley.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Called about rates and was quoted a specific price. When arriving I was told the price was not correct. Employees should be knowledgeable of their rates. Possibly a good place but first impression was disappointing.

League Friendly Place- Family Oriented - Good Rates - Good Hours- Efficient Staff. Great bartender- the guy named David had us rolling! Good times!!! We will definatly be going back when he is there - great drinks and so freaking funny!

This is a bowling alley for alcoholics that want to fight each other in the parking lot to put it simply. Parents DONT bring your kids here its not a safe place for family fun, and this is coming from a LTC holder.

The place was old and the workers arent the best. one of them stole $20 from me. If I were you, I would go to Main Event Bowling because even though they are more expensive, at least they are much better quality.

You have to pick and choose when you want to go because they have leagues and then it might be a long wait but once I get the lanes its a blast Tuesday and Sunday are a must because they drop the prices

Putting 12 ppl into 2 lanes.. they said in order to have 3 lanes there should be 18 ppl. I dont get why we cant use 3 lanes with 12 ppl when there are about 10 lanes opened

Staff was very irritated with my group of school age kids because the ball kept getting stuck in the gutter lane... they need to hire more younger people in that case.

This place looks old, its expensive and the wait time for the lanes is long. While you wait dont try the games they have because they dont work.

Within the last year the renovated they place and changed it up. May I reccommend the summer bowling pass, 30$ 3games a day for the summer.

Honestly not that impressed. It used to be much better in the 80s and 90s. It is a dive now.
