We took our daughter to see Beauty and the Beast on Sunday for the 11am showing. I reserved and paid for our seats on Wednesday, which was very easy. When we showed up, we had to wait in line for about 20 minutes so they could print our tickets. Why cant you print your ticket from home when you reserve your seat? They only had 2 people working the ticket counter, and there wasnt a real line established. It kind of wound through the lobby, and the 2 working the counter never indicated who would be served next, thus leading to people cutting in front of others. When we made it to our seats we pushed the seat service button, and had to wait a few minutes before our server arrived. However, she tended to the people beside us that arrived 3 minutes after is pushing the button. The server was very nice and remembered to bring us a knife (to cut daughters food) after the food was delivered. The popcorn came first. While it is a large bowl, it came very very cold. It is not the normal popcorn one would expect at the movie theater. A few minutes later the rest of the order came. The cheese curds werent the greatest, and again, they were cool. My daughters chicken tenders and fries were okay, but the chicken was cool as well. The only warm item was the fries. Neither of the food deliveries came with napkins (nor the people beside us). I asked for napkins and only got the 1 which came with the knife. The movie had great sound, and the theater was very nice. We did notice that the screen almost seemed to pulse/flicker. It was very prominent during bright scenes. I never did receive a receipt for our meal, which was supposed to arrive 30 minutes before the ending of the movie. Also, they do not sell typical candy/treats in a normal setting. Overall, we were not very impressed, and would recommend that people go to Cinemark in Oakley.

Handicap parking is 200 from the door the door is a minimum of 200-400 from the door depending on witch Theater you are in. Do not try to go here unless you love walking long distances. Sat through whole move not a single wait staff person came into the theater. Seats are nice but small and cramped. Menu I was going to order from was sticky and had hair and pieces of popcorn stuck to it. There was also some liquid in the cup holder half full. This place just opened a cpl months ago and seems to be going down quickly. The prices are high and they said a mandatory tip is added to your bill not sure what the % due to not being able to order. I discussed my concerns with the mrg. And he he said sorry that people are supposed to check in the theater. He also men5some call button that is some place on the front of the seat witch I was never told about it guess because no one ever came in the theater. The prices were higher than a usual movie theater on all there menu items. This place has terrible parking a huge voided grass circle space would be better used as handicap parking and make a wider lane for dropping off people by the door. The narrow road is blocked by 1 car doing a quick drop off that some how takes forever also if a delivery semi takes a wrong turn they are required to give a lawn job due to the narrow road now there is a huge rut in the front circle.(see posted pic) I suggest a different Theater.

A perfect theater ruined by corporate greed: This was an amazing theater with amazing food when it first opened as a Carmikes theater. I visited the theater 5 plus times and the service was better and food tasted freshly cooked. Last night was my first visit since becoming an AMC theater and it was horrible. First the place is understaffed(no ticket taker no hotess to seat me and explain the process and no server to take my order) which never happened below. We arrived almost 30 minutes before our show and was not able to place an order until previews started about 25 minutes after arrival. The servers were flustered and trying to do to much, to the point we never received a final invoice. The food was awful and tasted prepared offsite, frozen and reheated instead of freshly cooked. The chicken on my sandwich was barely hot and tasted as if it was a frozen patty heated up in a microwave and fries tasted also as if they were reheated in a microwave. My wifes flatbread was a soggy cheesy mess with no basil in site and again tasted reheated. This is really sad to me to see a great business come to Anderson and be ruined by corporate greed. Finally the theater, common areas and bathrooms were all dirty and littered with trash. I really hope AMC figures this out or they might as well shift this to standard theater with a popcorn stand because there is no way I will order food moving forward.

Terrible experience! Ordered a Jack and Coke for my boyfriend and a Margarita for myself. They didnt have the flavor I asked for so I chose a different flavor, gave them my money and waited... and waited... and waited...When it came to me I took a sip and it tasted only of salt. I mixed it up a bit but I just couldnt get past the salt taste. Got the guy back to tell him I wasnt satisfied and he replied "Ill take care of it for you". Meanwhile, never getting my change back from the original purchase. Never saw the guy again until the last 10 minutes of the movie and had to flag him down to tell him I still hadnt gotten my change or my refund for my drink to which he then replied "its state law that we cannot give refunds for drinks that have already been made" (are you kidding Me?) I would have liked to know that a long time ago so I could have had the chance to order something different. Finally got my change and was told I could speak to a manager and hed send one over. Waited... waited...waited for a manager, got up and went out to ask for a manager myself. Got a certificate for $8 and one free ticket. Forget it, you have spoiled my first impression. Not to mention my friends little boy waited over a half hour to get some chicken tenders. The couple sitting a few seats away werent happy either. Ended up having a pow-wow in the lobby about the horrible service.

$100 dollars later and my first visit left much to be desired. Arrived at 6:40 for 7pm showing. Placed our order at 6:50 and headed to the restroom. The first three stalls were out of toilet paper. I let the staff know and headed back to my movie where I waited till 7:50 for my dinner to arrive, over an hour! The fish and chips were very good! The Caribbean Cooler cocktail was tasty. Popcorn stale. The wait staff were very sweet! Hit the restroom again at 9pm and guess what... STILL no toilet paper. I asked for a manager and very kindly let him know what my first experience was like at this theater. My family and I waited to eat dinner at the theater. He was very polite and professional and said "I am the manager and I will take care of that." He didnt offer anything in compensation and I felt awkward asking. Headed back into my movie that I had now missed a good chunk of. Dinner bill came to $57+, tickets for $30+, tip $10... I will go to a different theater next time and I recommend you do too. The movie was really good though.
