My family and I stopped going to Hollywood Theaters a few years ago because the management allowed that location to become a Mecca for unruly, disrespectful, trashy people - people of all ages and demographics who were either not raised with the manners of a well-trained beagle, or who simply have no concern for anyone other than themselves. It looks like Wynnsong is headed in that same direction. If the management is unable, unwilling, or doesn’t care enough to provide quality entertainment to loyal patrons spending a good deal of money, then I will feel justified in taking my business and money elsewhere. While attending "The Conjuring" on opening night, we could not hear approximately 40% of the dialogue due to ignorant people who feel the need to talk LOUDLY throughout the film. This was after we had seen ushers and uniformed officers checking tickets INSIDE the theater. Where are the ushers? I should not spend the amount of money I spend on movie tickets only to be subjected to the discourteous and vulgar individuals that consider themselves and their hideous form of interactive entertainment more important than the other 90% of people in the theater. We saw "Youre Next" this weekend, and that may well be our last trip to Wynnsong. The workers are inefficient, uninformed and not overly helpful. The audio for the trailers was turned off, and we were subjected to some horrid Easy Listening radio station, rather than getting to see (and HEAR ABOUT) upcoming films. Later, during the first climactic scene in the movie, half of the screen turned blue. After another patron informed management, the movie stopped, the house lights came on, and a worker came in and non-apologetically informed us that it would be a ten minute wait for the film to begin again, then unceremoniously left the theater without another word. This was during a 10-15 minute scene involving deaths, horrors, and jump-scares - a critical scene in a horror movie! I have a family of five people - two adults and three children ages 11-13. A trip to the movies involving five tickets, popcorn, snacks and drinks can and does cost approximately $100. Which I wouldnt blink at one bit, if it also afforded me and my family the right to be entertained without constant frustration. I dont like wasting my money, and it looks like I wont be doing that at Wynnsong in the future. Its so sad, Wynnsong used to be the best theater around. Now incompetent and lazy management has allowed it to be complete and utter failure. At least for grown-up people, and children or teens with manners, who understand how to behave in a public setting. My children know how to behave respectfully, why is it so difficult for others? Adults even? The movie theater in Malbis at the Eastern Shore Centre - Premiere Cinema 14 - has routinely provided a quiet and enjoyable experience. I already make the drive to shop at Malbis anyway. Looks like Ill be making the same drive for entertainment. I would encourage other patrons who go to movies with the hope of HEARING and ENJOYING the films do the same.

I swear , some of these same posts are on the Hollywood review. looks as if someone is just pasting the same thing to trash the competition. To the guy who is complaining about the trailers, you are als complaining about price. Make up your mind. If the trailers didnt play those ticket would be around $20 a piece and thats being nice. I see mold smell complaints on all the Theater reviews. This is most likly because the area is so close tot he bay. What do you expect. Here is an idea. Instead of going to a movie and looking for things to complain about, try enjoying yourself for a change. Im not connected to any of these companies, but these complains are rediculase. Some just proove alot of you are just after something for free.

It was horrible. If u are not a member yes a member. U will have an hour wait time to purchase tickets from the concession stand. It seems as though u are force to pay extra money to join this elite club. Only three lines were open and all the cashiers were taking everyone from the members line. I truly understand the privileges as a member to anywhere but i just wished management would have at least had the decency to reserve two lines for members and at least one line for non members. When it was all said and done i was 30 mins late for my movie. I will not endorse this movie theater to anyone. I will just drive further if i still want the movie experience. I cannot go back to this theatre again

The theater complex continues with minimal security no security cameras despite all that has happened. Kids occupy theaters making noise, and continuing with totally unacceptable rowdy behavior. Yet, since there is no security cameras one literally has to go find someone to gain control of the kids (teenager groups). It has become a hangout and all I can recommend is to avoid this complex. They have had one shooting episode and I suspect other security problems within the theater complex. They ignore these and other problems despite the obvious liability and danger that exists. This is becoming a high risk adventure going to this theater.

Pretty nice theater. They do keep it clean and tons of options to enjoy your movie. They even offer hot foods as mini pizzas , curly fries and various other foods. Unfortunately the theater we were in to see our movie was broken and we couldnt see the movie that just came out. The manager came out and apologized and offered for anyone that wanted to to move to another theater and also offered us a free movie ticket refund. So ended up getting to see our movie plus now we have a free one on the house. Thats customer service top notch. Thats how it should be done.

This is my goto theater in mobile. As others have mentioned concession price are above average, but usually the experience is fine. I have to share a story though for a recent (9/2017) movie. Went and saw IT on a Thursday. Theater was mostly full but we were the only people watching anything. Fire alarm went off three times during the film. Apparently it had been happening all day. After the film no apology no nothing. All we got was each time it happened was a perfunctory "we are working on it" by the ticket taker. Not a great experience this time Amc.

I recently went with my husband and his youngest brother, who is 16 to see a rated R movie. The manager wouldnt let us in because my husband and I arent 21 to take someone underage in. (You can be 18 to buy rated R but not to escort an underage into the theater unless you are 22. [or so we were told]). The manager came out and talked to us and let us call his dad and he came in and brought him in and left (the manager supplied a free ticket for the inconvienience). The staff was very friendly to us as we waited and I will definitely be back at this theater!

I have been going to this theater since it opened and have never been disappointed. The prices are laughably high at the concession stand but we all have come to expect that from a movie theater. The theaters all appear to be clean when you go in and have never had sticky tennis shoes when walking down the isles. Also important, I have never seen the silhouette of a cock roach while enjoying a movie. ( for real have seen that in another theater) Even when packed the other patrons seem to be of good nature. This is my preferred theater.
