If I could give this movie theater no stars, I would. Yesterday I went to go see the new movie “It” with my brother and sister. Mind you I am 20 years old, sister is 19 and brother is 17. I wanted to buy a ticket for each of us. The guy at the counter asked for my ID and I showed him without problem and he allowed me to buy a ticket for myself and my sister but not my brother because of his age and no form of ID. I asked for a refund on our tickets and the manager was obnoxious and smacked her gum the entire time while processing the refund. We left the theater and found an adult in the parking lot who was over the age of 21 to purchase a ticket for my brother and who was interrogated by the “kid” behind the counter; asking if he was going to sit with us during the whole movie, etc. I don’t know about you but I have never been to a movie theater where I was ID’ed, which is understandable, but none the less asked if an adult 21+ would accompany us for the ENTIRE DURATION of the movie. Besides the ridiculous questioning and obnoxious manager, the theater has an awful smell of must, sticky floors, dirty bathrooms, and there was garbage left in our theater from the previous showing; proving that it is not cleaned nearly enough. We were on a time crunch and didn’t have time to drive to another theater that night so that is the only reason we stayed. From now on we will stick to NCG in Acworth. It is much cleaner, has friendly staff and great prices.

One word HORRIBLE!!!!! They say they are a fandango friendly theater, but I found that not to be true once in line and trying to pay for tickets with a fandango gift card. What made it worse was the fact the lines were long and after waiting with a 3 and 7 year old, I found the hard way fandango gift cards dont work at their facility. I was told by the manager that you have to go on fandango and purchase the tickets and then show them the conformation code to purchase tickets at the window. HOLY CRAP!!!!! So I had to get out of line and go to the fandango website attempt to purchase tickets and trying to locate the theater on the website. Not one time did anyone from the theater ask if I needed any help during this process. This is the WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A THEATER!!!! So finally I gave up and paid cash for the tickets. And thought I could salvage the experience...until I went from the box office to get in line to get popcorn and refreshments. So I see the deal, purchase the yearly bucket and get two large drinks for 5 dollars. The lady at the counter said that is incorrect. At this point I was livid and ready to leave but my kids really wanted to see the movie. So I purchase the yearly bucket two large drinks, package of M&Ms, and two other boxes of snacks. Needless to say I will drive to douglasville or kennesaw to get a good movie experience and better customer service next time.

Since our theatre in Douglasville (Regal 18) has gone severely downhill with their price gouging and horrible service weve been driving further out looking for a new place for our movie nights. Today we went to see Beauty and the Beast at Movie 278. Their ticket prices were more reasonable at $10 for an adult but the concessions were outrageous!! The drinks are crazy outrageous and we looked and looked for a price on candy and couldnt find it displayed anywhere ... but we really didnt expect nearly $5 for a tiny bag! A small coke, a medium coke, small popcorn, and three candys were $30!!! Dang. The lighting in the theater is too bright during the previews ... the glare on the screen is so bad you cant really see whats being played. The theater was a mess, seating is uncomfortable, and the bathrooms are DISGUSTING!! One stall didnt even have a door on it and most couldnt flush! Popcorn is littered everywhere ... even in the bathrooms! This is not our winner by a long shot.

Ive been to this theater many times and Ive been impressed every time but thus time, theyve fell way below my usual expectations. The theater (and concession area) was a mess, popcorn all over the place. Inside the actual theater, it looked as if 2-3 popcorn bowls were spilled there and lots of it crushed by people stepping on it. Then to add insult to injury, in front of my mother in laws seat were ants EVERYWHERE!! It looked as if someone knocked over an ant hill. She got bitten 12 times and shes allergic to ants. I informed a staff member about and he didnt do anything. A manager was contacted 10 minutes later and we got our money back and we left for we had to get put Benadryl on my mother in law. I was extremely disappointed. I hope this problem gets fixed ASAP!

At one time I would visit this business at least once a month. Now I would not want my dog to support them. I went there to watch a movie. I gave them an older $20 dollar bill. They then thought it was not real. I told him I would give him another bill which was not as old. He did not even check the second one. I told them if they have a problem with counterfeit bills they should invest in money markers. They should train their employees better and invest in those inexpensive markers so they will not make another customer feel as though you are trying to pass bad money......Black people we dont have to support a business if you feel disrespected. See what will happen if you spend your money elsewhere.

Used to be a good theater many years ago with decent food. Ever since it was bought out, its been consistently dirtier, food portion sizes went down while prices went up, food quality massively decreased, and local ads before trailers have been predominantly replaced by ads from Coca-Cola and other big name companies. Despite these moves to make more cash, the screens in the theaters havent improved one bit. I was also disappointed when they switched from giving you actual movie tickets to flimsy receipts, but most outside of people keeping them as mementos will likely not care about that. The arcade is still good though, bathrooms are big and theres at least 3 different bathroom areas.

You get what you pay for here. Its slightly cheaper than the other theaters around here, but the quality may leave you wanting. I have had multiple movies that were fraught by technical issues; Once there was a large piece of fabric (about 5 x 1) hanging over the top of the screen the entire movie. Another time the projector was never opened up to its full frame size, thus cutting off all subtitles in the movie. Those things being said, all together the theater isnt the worst Ive seen. Basically, if you really care about the movie, I would look elsewhere. If you just want to get out of the house to watch a movie and dont want to break the bank, this theater is perfect.

I was in theatre 2 for a showing of Ghost in the Shell, April 2nd. Camera was tilted off axis, and the title of the film was missing the last two letters. Most likely not focused, but couldnt be sure. I walked out, and got a refund, which I received. Asked the manger if they were filming in 4K Ultra and she said "I dont know". I read other complaints on this post as well, and found them to be true. Popcorn mess everywhere, warm theatre, messy seats. Trash in the cup holder where I was sitting. 4.2 stars out of 5? Hardly. I would give it less then 1 star if I could. Maybe Im picky, but I enjoy movies. Spend the extra two bucks and go to a decent theatre.
