DuCar Farm is such a pretty venue close to home with amazing customer service. Christina has been super helpful, responsive, and accommodating. Shes answered all of our questions and works so hard to make your day special. My fiancé and I met with several other venues and none of them seemed as genuine. DuCar Farm is priced right and offers everything you need. They also dont have super strict rules on who you have to use vendor wise such as catering, however they do have a preferred vendor list which is super helpful if needed! Theyre also open to letting you plan the day youve always imagined as far as set up and decor. The renovations to the barn and property make a perfect rustic chic wedding that could even be transformed for a more upscale event with Chandaliers and drapery or a more casual event. The barn has plenty of room for a decent size wedding of 150 people and also has a catering prep area. There is a bottom level perfect for a backup rain plan for the ceremony. They also provide several alters you can choose from and have a cute garden area. The patio serves as an awesome cocktail hour spot with high tops, games, and a fire pit for later in the night. They do have several miscellaneous tables you can use for cocktail hour so that saves a little money. You do have to rent tables, chairs, linens, etc. but their preferred venue Country Creek Farms rock! Also online, CV linens has super affordable and adorable linens. The old farmhouse at DuCar has a wrap around porch and is gorgeous for photos! Plenty of parking and easy to find. Check out DuCar! You wont be disappointed.

I recently was a bridesmaid in a wedding held at Ducar Farm. This is an absolutely gorgeous wedding venue. The staff are friendly and professional, and kept everything running smoothly. The background and scenery is excellent for pictures as well, with trees, and a spring, and beautiful landscaping. The property is very well kept, with lovely stone house and barn. There is also plenty of space, large grassy areas for outdoor weddings with picturesque background. For the wedding I was in, the barn was used for the reception and the downstairs of the barn for hoirsdevoirs, everything turned out beautifully! In addition there is also a bridal suite on site. It is modern and has small kitchen and sitting area, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms, it was a great place for the bridal party to get ready in. Overall I would highly recommend this venue!

I had the pleasure if attending the very first official wedding held at this new venue outside of Chambersburg and it was absolutely beautiful. The old barn was recently fully renovated but they kept enough of the original features to retain its aesthetic value. Christina and Josh are super people who will do whatever it takes to make your wedding or other events held there a wonderful experience.
