Anyone who has arranged an Indian wedding knows fully well how daunting and nerve racking the task can be – so many vendors, so many steps and guests who are not easy to please. We experienced all this and more in our older son’s wedding in 2008. Still the whole event was plagued with problems. So when time came for our younger son’s wedding in 2014, we launched our search to find a better way – an all-inclusive package. Starting point in our search was the Washingtonian Magazine’s Wedding Guide which listed details and phone numbers for all major wedding venues in D.C. metro area. Very few offered an all-inclusive package for Indian wedding. Those which did, wanted an outrageous price for the convenience. This was until we called the Fox Chase Manor. The General Manager Sammy was very knowledgeable about Indian weddings, answered all our questions and offered us an all-inclusive package at a very good price which included all vendors plus the services of two professionally trained wedding planners (Imagine that). We only had 10 weeks to plan the event but with Sammy and his staff with us every step of the way, it was easy. As a client of the Fox Chase Manor we received a very positive and accommodative treatment with each vendor. Within the broad guidelines given by Sammy we were able to select everything upscale. Because of the all-inclusive package, there was no effort to nickel and dime us or to sell us additional things. It is impossible to write every little detail in a contract. Not a problem, Sammy always ruled in our favor for anything that we thought of later. The best part was that children under 5 were free and they get a chair. As Indians we know how precious children are in any of our event. The choice of our vendors for the March 2014 wedding at the Fox Chase Manor was as follows: Bombay Tandoor and Gala Cuisine for food, Stylish Click for Videography, photography and DJ, Party land for decorations and Indorama for cake. The wedding and reception were a grand success, flawless. Our heartfelt thanks to Sammy and his associates, and the vendors for their hard work and cooperation for a job well done. Thank you Sammy!!!

If I could give anyone throwing a wedding in the DC area a piece of advice it would be to book at Foxchase Manor! They hosted my wedding on June 18 and it was A+ service at an affordable price. I cant say enough good things! Venue - First, the venue is absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking. The beautiful pillars on the exterior, paired with the gorgeous chandeliers and detailing on the interior make this one exquisite venue! It looks as gorgeous in person as it does in photos! Quality of Service - Sammy and his team are extremely helpful and accommodating, willing to work with any budget or special requests you may have. His team was there to answer all of my questions and accommodate every request, even a last minute change to the floor plan and size of the DJ stage. Value - Foxchase offers many different packages to accommodate any budget and I honestly think we got the most bang for a buck at this venue than we could anywhere else. I went with a full package including dinner, passed hors doeuvres, staff, bar service and table settings and linens. Unlike other venues, Chivari chairs and linens you can hand pick out are included in the venue price! Most other venues will tack on extra charges for these upgrades, but not Foxchase. Food - Last but not least, the food. We had a full tasting with Sammy and his team of chefs about 60 days before the wedding (we had a buffet set up) and my family and I were blown away with how delicious and flavorful the food was! We know that there is a difference in cooking for 5 people and over 300 people, so we were blown away on the night of the wedding to discover the food was just as good, or even better (if that was even possible)! The menu offerings are plentiful and diverse, offering American, French and other ethnic cuisines. Everything was absolutely delicious! People kept saying it was the best food theyd ever had at a wedding and I agree. If I had to do it all again, Id still pick Foxchase!

Having your wedding at Fox Chase Manor would probably be the worst mistake anyone could make. Although the venue is nice (due to Stylish Click being amazing), the staff there has no idea what theyre doing and dont cater well to guest. Not to mention the owner Sammie is extremely rude. Hes very nice when trying to get you through the door but as soon as you put that deposit down and money is paid his true colors come out. One of the most difficult people I had to deal with overall. Im extremely disappointed and wish I had chosen to do this wedding event elsewhere. Will make sure anyone I know doesnt make the same mistake. Save your money and chose a different location. Dealing with Sammie, the owner of Fox Chase is just not worth it.

Very beautiful HOWEVER the host was rude and unsatisfactory. My quinceanera was held here, from 6pm-10pm but the host ended the party very abruptly. She informed us we could hold the party for another hour if we paid 1 thousand and my father was willing to; but she denied us the hour. A few weeks later, I contacted her about the deposit but she refused to return it citing that the bathrooms had been harmed in some way or another. But my father had checked for any damages before we left the night of the party. Needless to say, my family and I were not happy and will not be returning here for any future celebrations.

I held my wedding on May 4, 2013 at Fox Chase Manor. We were looking for a space that would comfortably hold a crowd of 250 people, and preferably not a hotel. Fox Chase turned out to be the perfect venue for our event. I couldnt have asked for a better wedding. I am also, so happy in retrospect to have gone with the full catering package with Fox Chase. Their manager Sammy Hatami was amazing throughout the process. He delivered on everything he promised and went above and beyond everything we asked. Everything was first-class, I highly recommend this venue for weddings, and other big functions.

Considered having a wedding reception here but in retrospect our appointment and tour were really sketchy. The manager Sammy is not good with numbers which is disconcerting given the cost involved, used subtle pressure (stressing repeatedly that he did not know if our weekend would be filled) to extract a thankfully refundable deposit, and shared little information with us even after we put down the deposit. If you need a wedding reception venue in this area, check out Bristow Manor or Old Hickory Golf Club.

If you want a team where they go above and beyond for anything and everything, Foxchase Manor is the way to go! No matter where you are, (one of us was in Virginia, the other was in Canada), theyre always there when you need them and will reassure you as many times as it takes when you ask the same questions over and over again. All staff were amazing and we couldnt have asked for a better team to help us with our special day! Thanks Foxchase for being the best!!
