I cant say enough great things about this place. They have an amazing venue! To start off with they have awesome customer service by the owner and assistant! They provide great flexibility, and experience. I would highly recommend Meridian to everyone and anyone who is having a party whether it is for 50 people or 500+, they were exceptional for my pre-wedding event, from the event planning process to the actual event and the owner will go the extra mile. I would also like to personally recognize Mr. Jawaharlal who was excellent overall and made my event very pleasant, he was flexible, understanding, and incorporated all my ideas for my wedding event and also added his personal touch and included additional things at no cost. He was always friendly, compassionate, and professional and made sure I was happy. I sent many emails with 10 or more questions, and called 2-3 times a day and he responded to every one within 1-2 hour. Everything was beautiful for my event, well set-up, beautiful decor, lighting, music, and the location was ideal for us and we received many compliments and many our family friends are using the venue for their event and they work great with other vendors. During the day of the party, the staff was professional, kind, courteous, and extremely helpful, I just cant say enough about this place and especially seeing the newly renovated halls and ballrooms it is an awesome place for a wedding and the room I had booked was having a transformation therefore I saw a complete 180 degree changeover and my mouth drop the day of my event and I could not believe that it was the room I picked. The Meridian provides top-notch service and spends the time to properly train its staff to be able to give quality service at all times. I must say that no task is too great or small for them and they set the standard in leading by example what service should be to its customers and guests that it serves, beautiful place to hold an event and they care about the client and want to make sure they are happy therefore you have a successful event and the venue has a lot of history and it is Greensboros Secret and do not go by the other reviews, go out there, call, and meet Mr. Jawaharlal yourself and you will be in good hands! My friends had their wedding here in May 2015 and it was so unprofessional. First of all, it was SO HOT. There was NO air conditioning and this was in the middle of the summer!! It would have been one thing if the staff actually fixed the problem, or even TRIED, but instead they were no where to be found and even took what fans they OUT of OUR venue room to a different room while leaving my friends 200-guest wedding in the suffocating heat. Why wouldnt you check to make sure AC was working in the middle of the summer before allowing huge events to take place in your venue?? The bathrooms werent stocked with anything but toilets and that heat was just un-freaking-bearable. I stayed as long as I could but many people had to leave early. Im talkin, wedding at 6, food at 8, gone by 9:30! Imagine how sad, irritating, and disheartening it is to plan a special ceremony like a wedding and have everything else go well, but the venue and venue staff ruin it and cause family and friends (who traveled a long way) to leave early??? Im writing this because my friends worked too hard on that wedding for it to have gone down like that. I really wouldnt care to write a review, Im in customer service myself so I know people give unfair reviews for the dumbest things, but I also know that you need to provide your PROMISED, BASIC SERVICES to your customer. Really an event venue with no working facilities and no staff at hand for huge events?? As far as I know they never got an apology or any refund or ANYTHING. Moral of the story: Dont have a wedding here!

Is was there today for an event and this venue is unkempt and does not present a positive impression. The grounds were overgrown; the cigarette recepticals were overflowing; there was trash on the grounds; the parking lot out back is unpaved; the ceiling tiles did not fit together, were bowed, or, in some cases, missing; the painting the parking lot did not look professional; even the Meridian signage looked sloppy; and to top it off, there was no toilet paper in any stall in the mens toilet. Plus there is only one way out and there was quite a back up of cars waiting to exit. This venue does have a nice variety of rooms of varying sizes, but it just does not present a positive appearance. Not recommended.

The staff at the center was friendly, patient, and helpful. The event ran late into the night, and though they had to stay a little later, the Convention Center event staff contributed to the positive atmosphere of this event with their smiles and friendly disposition. The center offers everything that you expect from a convention center, but the staff make it extraordinary. This place is little old but owner had started to renovate this place and he did a great job so far. price is more then resanable for wedding hall and party hall. Owner stayed with us till the end and introduce himself to everyone and make sure everthing going as we planned. Thank you for making our event memorable !!!!

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. We had my wifes baby shower at Meridian Convention center. We had originally booked an other hall but after seeing this place and renovation that has been done to improve this place our mind was set to book this hall for our event. The owner and staff was very knowledgeable and understanding. Give this place a try and Im sure youll be glad you did. I see couple of bad reviews but dont let that change your mind. This is a beautiful place and staff is willing to help make sure you have smooth experience from start to finish. Thank you Meridian and we will definitely recommend this place to friends and family .

Indo-American Society of North Carolina has used Merdian during the last two years for our Valentine Day event with formal dinner, music and dance. The program was well appreciated by all who attended the program. The crew at Meridian were very courteous and helpful in organization of the event. Table and stage decorations were great and provided an impressive feeling for the event. Also Meridian is going through big renovations and we hope that this provide much greater atmosphere for formal events including Indian wedding and other social gathering. Our best wishes to Meridian for providing a great facility to the Indian community.

I held an event at Meridian C Center in December for my daughters 15th party. I could have not been more happy with the staff and the establishment. My guest and my family were very satisfied with the decorations, food, drinks and room temperature as it was freezing outside. Im looking forward to holding another event there in one of the smaller ballrooms in December!!! I was very happy that after looking at over a dozen halls I picked the right one! Kudos especially to some of the office staff and cleaning crew

This place is the worst place to have an event. The workers are so unprofessional and their customer service is even worst. The tables had left over old cake on them. Meaning no one wiped the tables off before giving them to the next party. Which is very nasty. They had several spiders in the corner of the room. They gave me round tables that were two different sizes. The chair covers that was provided was nasty or stained.The room is way to expensive for this to be going on.
