I came here on a lazy Saturday night and fell in love with the place. There were families here watching their chavalos play futbol, kids running around, and young couples tucked away in the corners. Some kind of warmth filled my soul. I thought back to my childhood days at Belvedere Park and the great summer days of years gone by. As I ventured in, the sound of Spanish music filled the background and the smell of burning wood was present in the air. It really hit home (even though I am not a local). I strongly encourage you to visit this place and have your own experience. I was impressed by all the amenities this park offers, -A baseball diamond -3 Turf soccer fields -Biking trails -A pond and more. I will definitely be coming back.

Ford Park is a nice place to visit and play. Always has been. But, why is there NOT a memorial for SCOTT FOWLER and RALPH CHAVEZ, 2 boys who were murdered by the pond back in July 1976? And yet the Murderer, who also murdered an 8 year old boy, Carl Carter, still goes unpunished. Is Ford park afraid to remind people that it happened? Memorials are put up for people all the time. These were 2 innocent boys at the age of 12 and 10, who had their whole lives ahead of them., but cut short by Harold Ray Memro, who is still on death row. I dont, and never have blamed Ford Park for this, but think the park needs to recognize that this did happen, and that a memorial should be erected to these 2 boys.

Great family park! The water is green and hopefully that is just algae. I came here one night and there was a birthday party going on. I can use some light near the water so people will not fall into it. (Since it is so green and I am not sure how deep it is. There are lots of ducks by the water and this is one of the few parks that cleans up duck poop frequently. I saw a vehicle high pressure cleaning the pavement this morning. There is a pool and 2 big soccer fields. Lots of people and teams were practicing there at night. Parking is ample and you will not have to park on the street at all.

Its a nice looking, calm, soothing, sport playing, public park. With several soccer fields, an outdoor and indoor basketball court, large public restrooms, two parking lots, two jungle gyms (one with sand, the other with tire floor), a medium size lake, lots of ducks, and geese. A quiet trail path for walking, running, and biking.

The park sports several soccer fields, a Baseball fields,a golf course, a swimming facility, and a lake. To top it off you have a bike trail along one side. Great multi- park kept clean. Great for family picnic, running or practicing a sport.

A lot of trees and shade. Theres also grills on the spot with tables and chairs scattered here and there. There are public bathrooms available. Not the nicest park but its ok to visit.
