Ive stayed at this property before and not much has changed. Check in was not as fast as I remember. there was a walk in customer in front of me that was asking alot of questions that slowed the process down. Once I got to the front of the line I was offered no apology for having to wait. But I did get cookies and water! the room we were in was a king bed room that was adequate for our needs. nothing about the room stood out that I could brag about, nothing wrong with the room that I need to complain about. Based on the carpet and paint in the hallways, you can see where upgrades have happened. Brightly lit and looks new. the rooms also look like they have fresh coat of paint as well. I would like to mention that the hotel has a Texas Roadhouse restaurant connected to it. So you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner there. I think there is a limited room service menu as well. Ive never eaten at the restaurant , although it stays crowded around dinner time, due to the fact that anyone can eat there. Which is one reason why I prefer not to have a chain restaurant in a hotel. The lobby is not very bright and inviting, but its not a turn off either. I wish I had more to say about the property, its standard Hilton billing, Ive attached pics. Oh... there is one thing that I did not like about this property. They bill themselves as being a "Digital Key" hotel. But it never worked for me. I booked hotel through the app weeks in advance, I checked in and chose my room the day before, and I waited for the Digital Key confirmation to arrive. I never got it. So I just used the key card as backup. This hotel doesnt use the "dip and pull" or "swipe" method for entering rooms. you touch your card on the round disc on the wall beside your door. Sounds simple, but it took me a few trys before I got it right!

This place is horrible. So, there is a restsurant (Texas Steakhouse) located in the lower level of the hotel. The entire lobby is consistently filled with smoke, you can hardly breathe, and its quite difficult to see as well. I can only be led to believe that all of the smoke detectors have been disabled due to the hotel allowing the continuous smoke to dominate the lobby all for a buck. I am extremely concerned for the safety of consumers, as my family and I lodged at this hotel for the weekend, and it was one of the worst experiences ever. The front desk staff assured me that they are working on the problem, but in the meantime you will endure the horrible smoke and smell of the steakhouse and their terrible ventilation system. I am equally surprised that Hilton allows this to go on, and also the local fire Marshall hasnt fined, and/or closed down the restaurant, or hotel due to the hazardous and dangerous conditions. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, as it is a major health hazard, and extremely dangerous.

Stayed here during a soccer tournament, was surprised by not only how terrible the service was, but by horrendous the bed and room were. Also do not get the breakfast! I then come to find out they charged me almost double instead of the group rate I was supposed to get. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, he proceeded to say it was my fault for not notifying them during booking, when I did as it was in the notes of my registration. Then he told me they must have transferred me to the wrong department. When I told him I can show him the email, he told me that wouldnt help. This is a fraudulent and a despicable scam. Talk about taking advantage of people. I will not stay at this hotel or a Doubletree ever again. Update: I called the manager five days ago and just received a call from Dominick and he proceeded to tell me how it was my fault and how their rates vary. Never even offered an apology for the mix up.

WARNING! Complimentary cookies have nuts! We arrived late after driving 10 hours The front desk gave us a bunch of cookies and two breakfast comps to make up for a misunderstanding on pricing. The cookies were warm and individually wrapped in small brown bags. I asked what they were and was told chocolate chip .I was feeling better about the place. It was dark out when i handed the cookies to my kids. My 11 year old was starved and loves cookies. Within seconds of eating it he was complaining of stomach pains, by the time we made it to the room he was writhing in pain! After someone else ate the cookie, they realized it had nuts! I was vey surprised they would have complimentary cookies with nuts given the number of people who have nut allergies. And why didnt they tell me when I asked what was in the bag? Overpriced hotel, fair accommodations. Had far better experience at Hampton Inn.

We thought this would be a nice place for our family to stay during our road trip. We were very wrong. The lobby was full of smoke from the adjoining restaurant, making it dingy and acrid. Then we learned the pool was closed because apparently other clientele never trained their children to not use the pool as a toilet. We were invited to use the pool in the next hotel over but it probably should have been closed too. The room was dank. It seems like they tried to clean the carpets recently but didnt let them dry. It made our skin crawl. The topper was the fist imprint on the wall that was covered over with wall paper. Nice touch of class. The beds were comfy though. Which was good because we never left the room for fear of the hotel conditions and other guests staying on our floor.

Visit Date: 08/09/2016: This is one of the hotels listed on the college website. I traveled from Fl and was a bit apprehensive but I the reviews on another site first and felt like this hotel was the best choice. Upon my arrival the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. After he finished checking me in he offered me a cookie-a little strange at first but OMG-warm chocolate chip cookies are offered to each guest. That was my late snack after dinner. My room was very clean, the bath room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I honestly have no complaints and this is the spot I will stay at when visiting my son in college. This spot is a little more pricey than the other hotels-at least when I visited. This one was about 139 a night. The others range about 71 a night.

The staff at this hotel was exceptional. We were there with an entire baseball team and to say they were patient with us is an understatement. When they bad weather kept us indoors our boys found ways to stay occupied downstairs just off of the lobby. While it may not seem like a big deal, it was greatly appreciated that they never showed any frustration towards our very large, sometimes very loud group. And as a germaphobic person I must say that I was impressed woththe cleanliness throughout the entire hotel. Our room was perfect upon arrival. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents.
