Had my sons 1st birthday party here on Sunday September 18th...I booked the party 2 months in advance with Grace who is in charge of booking and organizing the parties, Grace and I have kept in close contact with eachother ovzenter eer the phone in discussion over my sons party several times, 6 days before the party Grace calls me to review all the details ..the start time was at 3pm in the center tent of the park, I went over the contract with her, I had wanted a clown who makes character balloons for the kids and she was supposed to book it for my sons party..well its 245 pm the day of my sons party....we get there and of course as excited as can be because its his 1 st birthday...we get to the tent there was another party going on where ours was supposed to be, all my cousins ..aunts..uncles...friends..were all there waiting outside the tent looking confused as if they were too early for the party..but they were on time, I went over to management spoke to Mark and spoke to Toby who claims himself as the owner of the park. I gotta tell you, these guys could careless, they saw me crying and upset about my sons party and were soooo cold, they said for me and my guests to wait for the party to finish and they will set mine up within the hour, I was beyond upset, I thought I was dreaming and was hoping I would wake up and everything would be set-up as we planned for weeks for it to be, I had put my TRUST in the of the oldest most renowned amusement park aside from Astroland in Brooklyn , a place I went to when I was a little girl, and have the most wonderful fun memories, they RUINED my sons 1st most important birthday party, and they werent even upset or compassionate or even apologetic, WOW I dont even know how the owner TOBY is still in business, not to mention he has his niece GRACE responsible for these parties, wat a shame, I hope the JEWISH COMMUNITY gets to read this before they decide to have there party there in October, as to the ending of this story,, at 430 my sons party began...almost 2 hours after the start time, I had 40 people and 1 hostess by the name Amanda who was just so sweet n sooo overworked and underpaid, but so friendly and personable with my guests, the only 1 in the park that gave me some hope! Potato chips were expired ...soda was flat...there was no ice...and saddest part the girl GRACE never booked the clown, so my son had no entertainer at his party, not to mention I was charged $100 for him, they ended up dressing up 1 of the workers in the park in a pirate costume which looked like a big dust ball that they had in the basement for the past 30 years, it scared some of the younger kids at my party, I hope no one decides to use this place for a party, or even to take the kids for a ride or 2.... better off going another quarter of a mile to Coney island, they have such a beautifulllll well organized kiddie park there with adorable rides...I WILL SAY IT AGAIN.......ADVENTURES RUINED MY SONS 1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY...THIS IS NOT THE ONLY WEBSITE I WILL BE PUTTING IT ON!!!! HOPEFULLY I GOT THE MESSAGE TO ALL OF U

Im kind of surprised to read the other reviews. My daughters 6th birthday party will happen there this weekend (she also had her 5th there). She picked the location over bounce U, various party Gyms and Coney Island which doesnt have many little kids rides according to her. She and her friends have a great time which is all that matters to me and the pizza has improved a whole lot over the years. The carvel cake is awful but my daughters like it and 1 day of carvel is not going to kill my kids. The park is what it is. The rides are old, sun bleached, and in some cases individual ride elevation controls have been replaced with stationary cars for safety purposes. Your child should be at least 3 years old before going to the park or will more than likely not meet the height requirements for almost all the rides. There are many locations for parties and Ive never run into (and hopefully never will) a scenario where there wasnt a party area available during the time we had paid for, Do some of the rides need updating? YES, but its a kiddie park that for two kids costs me $80 including food for 4 hours and not Sesame Place ($200 just to walk into the park not including food), The land of make believe, or Dutch wonderland. If your expecting Brooklyn Mini Golf in Marine Park just LOOK at the course. Other than paint the golf course hasnt been updated since I played when I was 4 in the 70s but its functional. I dont ever recall them ever having batting cages even when the park was Nellie Bly.

Great place for young children. My 3 and 5 year olds had a blast. Most of the rides catered to that age group, but there were about a handful of rides for the older kids. The tickets were expensive, but if you go between 12pm & 3pm, you can get a bracelet for $25 each, and the kids can go on every ride except for the go-karts and mini golf. It was definitely worth it, since there are a lot of rides there. The minimum height for kids to ride without an adult is 36 inches. If an adult has to go on with them, you need one ticket per adult. The merry-go-round is free for adults to hold onto the kids. The ride attendants were fantastic! They helped every single kid get on and off the ride, and went around and double checked that everyone was buckled in properly. I was very impressed by that since I usually have to run in to get the kids on and off the rides myself. They also have a bunch of carnival games and several different places to get a snack or light meal. They even had Capri Suns! All in all, a fun day!

I have been there a bunch of times because I live in the area. The golf course is almost completely broken. I went there to a birthday party once, and it was terrible!!!!! The cake tasted like plastic, and the snacks were expired. Now they have a water slide, which looks exciting but dont get your hopes up. During the sweltering hot summer, its barely open. The staff are like zombies, lifeless and rude. There had only been 1 person who had been kind and he was only there once.Take the bus from there which is a block away to Coney island where the REAL fun and rides are.

Terrible customer service skills from almost everybody that works there. They seem like they are all miserable and as if they work for free. Did not see even one smile for the 4 hours that I was there. Instead of working the employes are to busy hanging out with each other. They are not much older than the little kids that are actually on the rides and should have some sort of supervision so they are not just doing whatever they want. If you are looking to do a birthday party for your kids i would look elsewhere.

This park is probably the best you can find in the neighborhood. I did my sons 3rd b-day there and everyone absolutely loved it! They have rides for kids of all ages (I would say 12 and under ... teenagers prefer the coney island park). The place is clean and not too crowded. I remember this pakr growing up and its cool to see my kids enjoy it as well. I believe the price now is $60 for 30 rides. Grab your little muchkins and enjoy the rides :)
